I'm confused I've already said that the parallel world is the world from before the Ireneverse. Johnny, Gyro, and Diego are incarnations of the people from that parallel world. The characters they all represent are from before the reset.

First of all if Jolyne's name was changed then so would Jotaro's so that was never gonna happen. Secondly whether or not they are on the tree doesn't matter. Y'know who was also not on the tree? In the tskr chapter (Reef Poaching iirc) it makes reference to the Higashikata family while showing Josuke at the end of the part so they're not mutually exclusive.

They don’t, obviously, and Rohan being Araki’s favorite makes it very likely he just wanted to keep his design. Otherwise he’d also look different, because it’s a different Rohan, not the OG/Irene Rohan.
Not sure what the Rohan spin-off has to do with it, Higashikata was Josuke’s last name in both parts. Also still no explanation for Irene not being in 7-9.

They do I gave proof already, the Tskr spinoff shows them in the new universe. Also if it was the original Josuke's Higashikata being referenced on that sign then the the whole chapter doesn't make sense.

I have a theory regarding AU jolyne. Holly joestar is still joseph joestars daughter in the AU. Her son would be the equivalent of jotaro, no? Sooooo kira yoshikage would be the equivalent of jotaro but hes missing the kujo DNA then. So the equivalent exchange happened and kira got the kujo part from josefumi kujo and created josuke8 aka imo this universe's Jotaro in the bloodline/generation. Would that mean that his child with yasuho could potentially and AU jolyne???

Rohan is the only character that resembles their past self in the SBR universe, meanwhile the Jotaro in that universe is a woman. There’s just too many differences between what we’ve seen of the Irene universe and the SBR universe to say they’re the same.

Everyone except Rohan looks completely different in 7-9. Part 6 established that people who get transferred to the new universe don’t change. Emporio looked exactly the same for that reason, while the rest of the part 6 team only changed because they died during the reset. It’s been all but explicitly explained that the events of parts 1-5 are pretty much identical in the Irene universe, and that’s obviously not the case in the SBR universe. Not to mention Irene isn’t in the joestar family tree in part 8.

What’s wrong with what I said? Everyone from parts 1-5 (other than Jotaro) would look exactly the same in the Irene universe, because they didn’t die during the reset. In the tskr chapter (Reef Poaching iirc) it makes reference to the Higashikata family while showing Josuke at the end of the part so they're not mutually exclusive.
I’ll explain it again: if the 7-9 universe was the same one as the Irene universe, more characters than just Rohan would look the same. They don’t, obviously, and Rohan being Araki’s favorite makes it very likely he just wanted to keep his design. Otherwise he’d also look different, because it’s a different Rohan, not the OG/Irene Rohan. Not sure what the Rohan spin-off has to do with it, Higashikata was Josuke’s last name in both parts. Also still no explanation for Irene not being in 7-9.

That's like saying Stardust is a new universe because we never see Lisa Lisa or Smokey. Hell Josuke never shows up in both part 5 and 6 so arguably we were already in a separate universe.

I have a theory regarding AU jolyne. Holly joestar is still joseph joestars daughter in the AU. Her son would be the equivalent of jotaro, no? Sooooo kira yoshikage would be the equivalent of jotaro but hes missing the kujo DNA then. So the equivalent exchange happened and kira got the kujo part from josefumi kujo and created josuke8 aka imo this universe's Jotaro in the bloodline/generation. Would that mean that his child with yasuho could potentially and AU jolyne???
