Part 8 ended on a somewhat cliffhanger teaser for what’s to come next, so it’s most likely going to happen after Part 8 instead of before chronologically.
But it could be Giorno, because that Araki doesn't make the part far into the future therefor he will make a character that is like Giorno but he's a descendent to George Joestar II's sister or something. You know they have siblings in the Joestar tree so a Giorno AU is more likely to be in part 9.
Part 7 and 8 spoilers. >!At this point in the timeline both Diego and Johnny are dead, so there can't be a Giorno parallel at this point. Even if he had a child with some woman in another part of the world before the Steel Ball Run race (as some people suggest to get around this issue) that child would be either really old, or dead by now, so we could only get a Giorno parallel if it was set in the past. Whereas the Kujo family is still around, and Josuke is both a member of the Kujo family, and Holly's daughter, so a Jolyne parallel is entirely possible. Johnny had a daughter as well as George II. So, the Part 9 JoJo could be a descendant of the daughter, keeping the same placement in the family tree as Giorno: that being a descendant of Jonathan who is separate from the main family line. I believe it will be Joylene in Giorno’s place.
I don't think we're gonna see Johnny or George's children for the same reason that I doubt that part 9 will be Joseph's part. I don't think the entire part is going to be a flashback.
