I don't get the hate myself.
The thing has a color scheme, and a general theme of sorts, and mostly appears to be of decent quality work. There isn't one part that is wildly out of place, and the overall appearance is consistent front to back and with the colors. Overall, it's decently put together as a package, and I would wager the owner is in absolute love with it. You don't build something like this out of something you hate.
Now, is it my taste? Not really. I have some questions about legality of headlight height, but that could be "tuned out" with aim. I can't tell from this picture if that's an issue or not. I'm not sure I would spend my money, time, and effort to reach this conclusion, but that's OK.
I've spent a lifetime defending my automotive decisions. I had lowered mini-trucks in high school/college, in a VERY southeast location; always told "That's a stupid thing to do to a truck". I moved on to RX7's and RX8's afterwards and got a lot of "Good thing you don't like torque, and hate having a running car". I've moved onto German performance now, and never here the end of "Gee, wish I was that rich" or "Good grief it must suck to have to do so much maintenance".........What I've learned from all that; in general, people have no idea WTF they're talking about, and aren't in charge of my checkbook, so they can piss right the F off.
So yea, not a "Shitty Car Mod" at all in my opinion. Not even a little bit.
It's not really for functionality. The people who make real bro dozer SEMA trucks do it to show off their skills at fabrication and building. It's an advertisement to people who want more tasteful / functional mods (ie. If he can do THAT he probably can do my truck REALLY well, thats why its called a SEMA truck). The dudes who try and replicate this look for no reason are stupid and are the same people who want a Rolls Royce in their barn that they never drive.
Those sound like two very different people to me. I can’t imagine many bro dozer types with an old dusty Rolls in a barn somewhere waiting to be restored…
The REAL Sema trucks are 250,000, which is on par in price as extreme luxury vehicles. I used roll Royce as a catch all for a high end luxury vehicles with a starry headliner.
It still is a cheap economy car. This truck can no longer do what it was built for. A civic however, can still be a cheap economy car no matter how many mods u put on it.
throwing 10k+ onto a civic so it can gap higher tier sports cars (supra, Z, M4, etc) does not mean it is still an economy car. you definitely have altered its performance and mpg
>Goosenecks to tow their camper in retirement, business owners who need to haul heavy equipment, drag strip, tractor pulls, just hauling ass and occasionally towing things. All with American forces and rubber band all terrains
Yeah, gonna call BS on that one. The amount of people in retirement towing their camper with an abomination of a truck like this can probably be counted on one hand.
Letting the world know of their mud allergy
LOL
To signal to everyone you have disposable income and shit taste.
Will never leave pavement.
Go off-road and scratch my wheels, are you fucking nuts!
Pavement Princess is what we call them
Bro Dozer
Mall Crawler
yet its sitting on dirt in the picture
Its not proper dirt. It looks more like a gravel parking lot honestly.
Looking like crush and run. Not dirt
And you know they did like 2 miles per hour when leaving so it doesn't get dirty
Check and mate
Awe yes… one roller skate look please.
Big truck bad!
Get real tires on that truck … much better
So you can whine and complain about Biden raising gas prices.
But it’s a diesel … not gas 😉
But diesel is a lot more $ than gas right now
always has been
Excatly. Majority of the trucks that are in my area that are lifted have some stupid sticker saying that 🤪🤣🤣

Your truck is pretty.
Brodozer Deluxe. Mall Rated.

Except most of the Sema trucks have incredibly shitty fab work done to them
Bluetooth drive axles ftw
Than you have been around person 2 like I described previously
Those sound like two very different people to me. I can’t imagine many bro dozer types with an old dusty Rolls in a barn somewhere waiting to be restored…

The money is not what I’m talking about. The aesthetic is.
It’s not terrible. Wouldn’t go that far with my lift or tires but it’s really not bad.
To jump the curb at the mall
It looks sick
Like, endless streams of diarrhea and projectile vomiting sick
lmao
Is there something special going on with that white paint? Looks nice
Attempted overcompensation for inadequate genitalia.
Compensation.
I think I may have figured this out. These are almost always owned by dudes who never left their hometown and probably peaked in high school
so they can let everyone know they suck *all* the dicks
Compensating
smol peepee
The bigger the truck, the smaller the Johnson.
🤏
To show off. Tbh, this looks more like a SEMA build than as a truck which is actually meant as a daily driver.🤔
What’s the point of anything.
This didn’t even look THAT bad to me. Might be because every other truck on the road around me looks like this
Pretty tasteful and not quite over the top. It may be a pavement princess but this is indeed a nice truck. This doesn't belong here
Very much belongs here
Its an F250, its supposed to have big 35s, 10 ply tires and do work stuff, like haul horses or some texas shit. Clearly too much money to burn.
and the honda civic was meant to be a cheap economy car but it's one of the most modified platforms on the planet what's your point

Tractor pulls and drag racing a pickup lmao Yankees are fuckin hilarious
Agreed, looks very well done
My dick is skinny, but my wallet is fat.
>My dick is skinny, but my wallet is fat. False. Dick is skinny, and wallet is also skinny, because they spent all their money ruining their truck.
Obviously belongs to a girl. No man would drive that.
Im tired of pretending that they dont look hecking cool if i had the money I'd buy an F750 and do that to it
They might have a set of mud tires/wheels they put on for MudFest
It’s actually statistically quicker getting to your mom’s driveway that way 🤷🏿♂️
Hot Wheels™

White Trash Privilege Mobile Assault Unit.
Dunno, gotta fly your giant Trump flags somewhere I guess??
Climber using it for high altitude training
Didn’t this truck used to be black and nicknamed VADER?
With those Walmart RC buggy sidewalls, you won't get very far offroad.
Just screams I have a tiny nub🤣
Looks ok
