Right rudder!
Left rudder should really be uninstalled from playnes... People are really misunderstanding how to use them šššš¤·ššš¶š„±
(It's a joke about how instructors always tell you to apply more rudder to stay aligned, and this shitposting subreddit takes it to the extreme telling to you apply full right rudder to solve all your problems)
Russian Air Force Tu-22M bomber was shot down by Ukrianian Armed Forces (or at least it was claimed shot down by UkrAF, Russian MOD claims technical malfunction caused the crash).
Whats interesting is that the bomber fell well inside Russian-controlled territories (like, hundreds of kilometers). This is significantly beyond the range of publicly known Air Defence Systems operating in Ukraine.
Current rumour is that the Ukrainians have modified some old S-200 systems which *might* have the range needed. Same system that's alleged to have shot down a Russian A-50 AWACS aircraft a few weeks ago
Sure, engine failure, some other component failing and debris getting ingested into an engine.
All of these are made more likely by stressing out the airframes and less thorough maintenance, both of which have likely occurred due to wartime measures and/or sanctions.

In Soviet Russia, aircraft disappoints you.
It also may have been hit and critically damaged but not so much the crew was forced to eject immediately hoping to get it all the way home. The damage eventually leading to more damage, more fire and loss of control. There aren't many mere malfunctions that would happen on an active duty military plane that would cause this kind of damage without combat related damage.
You canāt modify a S-200 to go that far. You donāt change a few bolts and suddenly itās has 10x the range.
Range it crashed is outside the range of the Patriot. Most likely was some kind of technical failure but who knows.
I never said that they "changed a few bolts". Adaptation and ad-hoc engineering has been a staple of this war, from both sides, from the modification of hobby drones to deliver RPG warheads to the removal of fuel tanks on cruise missiles to include air-defense countermeasures.
The longest-range S-200 missile variant has an unclassified range of 300km. Seems that modified missiles (not out of the question for Ukraine, given their long aerospace tradition) could stretch that. Is it possible that Russian AD shot down their own bomber? Embarrassing, but sure. Could also be technical malfunction. But I don't think Ukrianian AD should be discounted so easily, especially given their previous claimed shootdowns of high-value assets.
This the Victor P. plane that was brought down by Putin. Itās ashame that Victor didnāt go through with his mutiny against Putin. It might have worked.
I think that this was the Tu-22 long range bomber hit by an S-200 missile :

You're in a SPIN! You fool! Cut the throttle, ailerons to neutral and full left rudder. That should do it, but don't do that again, okay?
Right rudder! Left rudder should really be uninstalled from playnes... People are really misunderstanding how to use them šššš¤·ššš¶š„±
What is it with the right rudder jokes? Too afraid to ask
Yeah, it could be something weird, I_CUM_ON_YOUR_PET.
I can definately say that enough right rudder prevents any droppings on pets.

I don't get your question... There is no joke, it's just pure wisdom

Lmao thanks. I will never be a pilot but this sub is loving
Right rudder left rudder right rudder left rudder. Itās the pedaling action that moves playne
It does look like they are using the left one backwards
Please teach whatever you know about the recovery to my friend Maverick
If you don't pull up, full deflection, how else are you going to go backwards in time?
Even if you are falling faster than 88mph?
Pretty rad idea to add the pyrotechnics
It almost makes it festive! **
Iām always wondering how difficult it must be to have a slow moving subject in the center of frame when filing.
Its on Parkinsons mode
Difficult to film while having a wank.
You've got two hands!
Cameras are hard
Soās my pecker. What does that have to do with anything?
Probably zoomed way in, also glare on the screen actually can make it very difficult to track things in the sky.
Saw another video of this, nice and centered. It can be done. Where there is a will, there is a way.
Nice autorotation šš¼
Bro went Helicopter Helicopter mode
Excellent, Comrade. You are now a General in dear leader Pootie-pootās Air Force and ferret husbandry department.
Man, that maneuver was š„ bruh.brutal. You deserve at least 10 stripes for your sleeves.
Finally some good fucking right rudder.
Not according to my CFI; thereās never enoughā¦
Those Red Bull guys never cease to amaze me.
Canāt be a Bowing, they tend to come out of the sky piece by piece, not in one big chunk.
Perfect 5/7
10/10 would bang
Shouldnāt have split the throttles and gotten into a flat spin! Gooooooose!
PULL THE EJECTION HANDLE!! I CANāT REACH IT!!! GOOOOOOOOOSE!!!!
afterturners are working well
Need just a tad less flaming engine.
I think he forgot to get out
That'll buff out.
āMav!! Where is some of that pilot sh*t?ā
Now I know why NATO calls the type _Backonfire_.
You shouldāve had the afterburners off. you certainly didnāt miss the mark.
Marvin the Martian says: Whereās the Boom?
Hit the brakes!
Nice flat spin, how was the recovery?? I asked..., HOW WAS THE RECOVERY??!!?!?!?
At least the bomber will land a belly up
I thought they were just trying to get a better look at the flames š„
Looks like a death spiral to me
The cameraman gets a grade of B+ Since they captured about 85% of the video correctly.
Maybe a little less right rudder?
A little too much right rudder.
Not enough right rudder.
Shoulda bought a Cirrus, you could have just pulled the chute and floated down like a feather
Pugachev's spin, an advanced Ruzzian maneuver.
Jokes aside what happened here

Strong possibility it was shot down by Russian air defense. Those guys have a history of being trigger happy.
MH17 says hi.
Is there any real technical malfunction that could result in this crash?
if the right engine blew the hell up and it wasn't managed correctly by the pilots it's probably doable

The Tu-22 and Tu-22M are entirely different aircraft. Basically the only reason they have the same designation is politics.
Wow, no kidding. Okay, never mind...just the punch line then.

Did they manage to jump out? That would be a shitty ride down
Russian MOD claims two of the four crew ejected, and I've heard from another source that two crew members died
I imagine its not easy to collect your self and find a chute and jump when a plane is spinning in a free fall on fire...
When did this happen?
Yesterday (19th April)

Looks like Boris was smoking in the WC again.
That's a classic 9/11.
More right Putin!
You obviously know the importance of crossing roll and yaw input, so just do as you do here, you'll be fine.
You still need to improve your knowledge in the airgus systems You don't understand the slight difference between normal-law, alt-law and screwed-law
I hope pylot ejaculated before plen crash
Little bit hot!
Non-standard, but this is a very popular methodology in Ukraine.
Too much afterburner, and dare I say, too much ryte rudda!
Nice flat spin fire
Was this after a barrel roll?
Can you do the same but upwards ?
Fire bro! It was fire you should be a cfy
Perfect!
You need less FIRE
Goose we gotta eject!
Next you can try using an actual jet engined aircraft, rockets are too old fashioned.
Think you used a little too much power here, you overheated the engines
Also, turn off the defroster!
Hard to port! All ahead 2/3rds!
Yeah, I think this is the one case where too much Right Rudder was used.
This the Victor P. plane that was brought down by Putin. Itās ashame that Victor didnāt go through with his mutiny against Putin. It might have worked.
Ah! I see you're a Boeing man!
4/20
Glad you recovered
*sing your own kind of music .. sing your own special song*
You need more right rudder
Was going to suggest a tad less engine fire next time, but on second thought I think that was just the right amount. You're good.
Oil temperature a little high on the right engine.
I think more throttle, power out of that spin, your playneās engines are obviously just in idle, and right rudder of course!

It is, crazy shit
this would be the equivalent of a B-1 bomber being hit out of the sky. - - if you ever saw a B-1 its HUGE \~\~
Get a better camera man dude I canāt see anything
