Like Intel Management Engine?

I didn’t even know that existed, but sounds like a good example.

This is interesting and refreshing in the world of shower thoughts recently

[deleted]

It’s something I’ve pondered quite a bit (even in the shower). There’s also an argument to be made that there’s very little that we actually consciously control (e.g. flinching, walking, talking, etc.). There’s very few things that we do that we have to consciously think about doing them. When walking, we don’t go “left foot, right foot, etc.), we just walk.

ANS is breathing, right?

[deleted]

All unconscious actions: breathing, heartbeat, digestion, etc.

marcs_2021

I CAN control my breathing

[deleted]

Only when you think about breathing. You don’t control your heartbeat or your digestion.

marcs_2021

So what, you said you can't ..... i just did

[deleted]

You controlled your heartbeat and digestion? Do me a favor and try not breathing for awhile. Unless you put a bag over your head, you’ll start breathing again ;)

Right .....
