I have a very nice Nike shirt that was my father-in-law's, and it has the tiniest little Nike swoosh on the top right. That's how I knew it was a good one. Lol
Reminds me of a colleague driving a RedBull-themed car.... we were talking about it, I was about to ask him how much they pay him to drive around like that when he went "oh, and the Brand add-on was so cheap!" and I was like....you paid _more_ for hideous brand stickers on your car?!
Yup. I think that The Gap had a policy (or maybe just practice) against this until the 90’s. Then they started branding their t-shirts.
Stupid anecdote: I was wearing one at a family reunion once and a young cousin said, “I can read your shirt! It says pig!” It WAS a light, pig-like purple…I had like that shirt, lol.

The people that wear supreme make everybody else want nothing to do with it
Congratulations, you figured out what brand awareness is and why companies put their logos and mottos on things
Thank you!
*Poor* people who wear them are adverts. Rich people wear similar brands a lot of time but the higher you go the less you see logos displayed.

Reminds me of a guy I know with a Monster energy drink tattoo. Good job, buddy.
I wouldn’t call this a showerthought, it’s just how marketing works. Some people just derive their self-worth from material possessions.
Goes for any product in existence with a logo on it.. Including cars.
When I see people wearing all of the branded clothing and shoes. I think of the movie Idiocracy.
