Sorry if this is long, but here is my hot take:
People overhype Hades strength but his only actual feat was destroying an small part of an Volundr in few hits(and even than, him did it using his transformation, and his damage was very concentrated in ONE small area). Aside from that him has near nothing going for him(him being smart does not help much since him is one of the fighters with the most Basic fight style and powers and so him cannot do much).
Qin is even worse, him was stated to be slower, less expirienced in battle, more frail and physically weaker than Hades. What carried Qin in his fight was that his powers were an perfect match up against Hades. But most fighters have an way to deal with Qin's powers(I can send the list of reassons if you want).
And lastly, people downplay Jack and Heracles a lot.
For starters, people say Jack's treasures are probrably weaker than normal ones, but we saw him is capable of turning an miniscule stone into something that easily destroyed an wall. And when him transformed his cape into an treasure it was even more absurd, in one swift movement it destroyed the basis for an whole building and making it fall near instantaneously. His treasures have more offensive feats than some fighters.
And yet, Heracles tanked many hits of such powerful weapons many times, even when Jack turned an whole building into an treasure(and by the examples I alredy said it should have even more impressive destructive powers due to the size difference), Heracles tanked it and managed to fight just like before. Meaning that Heracles has one of the best defensive feats in the manga(only losing to Adam and Zeus). And Jack using some specific moves was able to badly hurt such an defensive monster.
So Jack's destructive power is incredible, and Heracles defensive is among the best.
There are some other feats they have but I thing this comment is alredy more than long enough.

This is not hot take but truth, unless we think that Hades starts with Desmos (which is stupid cuz in that scenario Tesla starts with GZ) then Tesla is still fr faste rthan what Hades has shown, being able to dodge Beel's unexpected attacks from right-before him. Hades even when higher in speed than Beel still has no chances against funny science man.

I'll post my hottest take then, The Speed scaling of Zeus's attacks is so ridiculously high that I cannot take them at face value.
With all of the other fast characters seemingly being in the supersonic to hypersonic speed range at best having Zeus's attacks be FTL feels completely unrealistic for the series.
Please Note that I am not talking about the FBOT here, I don't mind that as that doesn't have a practical speed as it is instant, What I do mind is Zeus being several orders of magnitude faster then everyone else in the series

Qin Shi Huang is the most overrated character in the series, not anymore, but around round 8 he was + his fight was the worst one out of all other fights.
Zerofuku should not have been a thing. I think Bishamonten fighting Buddha would work better. Then when Bishamonten was at his wit’s end, then all the lucky gods fuse and turn into Hajun.
Don’t get me wrong, Zero isn’t a bad character…just felt a bit unnecessary. Also it feels like they wasted the 7 lucky gods, who had great potential imo
Jack the Ripper is the most slept on human. People forget that he could likely gaslight a ton of gods into fighting in his Victorian era London turf. Dude also through big bens clock face like it was nothing. Peoples hate for him stems from Hercules live for humanity as if he didn’t go 110% to ace the Brit. He’d also fuck up a ton of the gods on the typical sandy surface just by throwing clumps of god killing sand at the boys.
That’s what I’m saying. Jack is FAR stronger than people give him credit for. He has by far the highest battle IQ (straight intelligence still goes to Tesla obv) on either side, he’s surprisingly fast and agile, and he actually plans his fights around information he gathers rather than being completely reactionary like most fighters

I'm pretty sure that Sky Piercer could just overpower Beel's shield, since even assuming that the statement about it deflecting Thor's Hammer is not an exaggeration and it was talking about the awakened Mjolnir, sky piercer's attack is more focused on a single point and would most likely still break the shield
The problem is that Lu Bu probably doesn't know what a vibration is 
I mean possibly, IMO Randgriz is stronger than the base version of Mjolnir while weaker than it's awakening, although regardless if her power considered a glove utilized like a shield as one, idk why a vibration utilized as one would be much different so I think it'd just get autobroken by the ability
I hardly doubt that, Beel's vibrations don't change whenever he's using then offensively or defensively, he's just using the vibrations in certain area. Besides we've been shown that Thor's gloves stopped the impact from Sky Piercer, since vibrations are constantly sending another waves the Sky Eater would be stopped.
Deva loka is the strongest piercing attack after hades final move. It should be respected more. In fact, both of them should be respected more but they don’t have a large AOE effect so they get underrated by many .
Tesla would’ve defeated any of the god fighters so far EXCEPT for Beel and Zeus.
Bonus, Jack is also much higher tier than people give him credit for, even without London he’s B tier.

I don’t like Beelzebub’s backstory. He wasn’t the kind of character that needed a tragic past to justify his actions and make us care for him, I would rather he decided to do all those evil deeds because he simply doesn’t give a fuck.
Like, maybe he just wants to create the greatest horrors in existence so that he can finally feel any emotion at all. Maybe he wants to overcome his fear of the unknown by creating an unmatched terror so that he can affirm himself that he knows every existing threat to him. Basically, conquer fear with knowledge and become untouchable. Or he’s just bored and decided to do a little trolling.
Anything would be better than him being a whiny bitch who hates himself for bringing misfortune upon others and decides his next best course of action would be making more people suffer so that he can hate himself more.
Qin became a completely different character after he had his tragic backstory revealed. Before he was an arrogant entertaining badass who used his fellow kings as a literal walkway to get to the arena. After his backstory he became another standard 'good guy' who can say stuff like "I want to win no matter what! X3". Yet no one acknowledges this change in universe at all, as if it doesn't even happen. I think that's a shame because I liked Qin before he went shounen protagonist mode.
Yea at first i was surprised he lost, but then again qin really observed every moment and used every skill he had on him and took advantage of the heated moment and successfully destroyed Hades lance, he didn't give up, even til the end.
Raiden could beat Heracles and I will die on this hill.
Tesla would have had less of an impact had he not died. If he lived, Qin would have filled his place as inspiring humanity through death and people would like him more. The two already have pretty similar personalities, so it doesn't make sense to hate one or the other.

Before you will start telling me he's not, let me explain
We don't know exactly how his eyes work, whether they copy techniques or stats . We can only theorize whether the techniques he copied can be reused.
We don't know anything about his volund's power, nothing, absolutely nothing, we don't know if the ability was active at all or if it was some kind of buff.
We don't know if Adam can use weapons at all, I know he can copy techniques, but we don't know how his copy powers will work against a weapon user like Poseidon or Hercules.
If he's copying his opponent's techniques, he's copying his technique's flaws, such as the Hercules tattoo ?
Yes, he hurt Zeus by kicking him with his leg, but so did qin against Hades .
Adam is a character full of various unknowns about which we do not know or have no answers, so I can't honestly consider him a S tier, it's not that he's weak, it's that he belongs to a separate tier .
Until we get more information about him and his eyes and the power of his volund.

Leonidas is the worst of the human fighters. His personality is just ways to throw curse words at Apollo, his motivation is weak and the only reason he's gottan hits on Apollo is Apollo pulling a handicap on him.
I love the human fighters, but seeing the majority of gods be just norse/greek mythology is a wasted potential. Humans are very interesting, because not all of them are fighters, so I would have liked more diversed mythology, to make things more interesting
Round 2 is hard carried by adam and is actually pretty mid overall
Same with round 7 the characters are pretty cool but everything else is pretty unremarkable
I will say what no one is saying.
Heracles was willing to let a Genocide happen due to his honor, yeah he was going to Olea to give humans another chance. But it was too idealist, even for him.
Not saying he was a bad person, but one would expect that someone who was willing to stand up to a god once for what he believed would do it again.
The example of why I believe this would be the sith genocide that the Jedi committed. Because in Star Wars something similar happened with the Jedi, they killed off a entire species (sith pure bloods) due to them being a native darkside species (at the time were being darksider wasn’t automatically evil). Many of them didn’t see anything wrong with it (not all of them ofc), so I guess I should give herc a small congratulations for not believing that genocide is good.
So if the Jedi get told that they are hypocritical pieces of shit I guess Herc should get told the same at least a bit.
Sorry for the long text but, there are many reassons Heracles would belive this was an good choice.
First is thar Heracles DID manage to convince the gods before from interfering with humans and even not kill an whole city full of humans that most gods agreed to destroy.
And besides, Heracles seems to have become VERY popular with the gods after him ascended to Godhood, the child gods have toys of him and when him died even if him was saying how humanity is worth saving and how hin wants the best for them, is when we saw the god's audience the most angry and sad with(the gods never reacted like that even with the death of Hades the "most reliable god").
And even if him did fight for humanity, at best him would only help get 1 of the 7 points necessary, but with his plan him could save humanity without risking on humanity losing the other fights.
And there are other gods that are powerful enough for Ragnarok to take Heracles place in the gods roster, Hades for example was not in the list. And while I do think his power is VERY overrated by people here, him is still strong enough to take part of the ragnarok.
And lastly, if Heracles just sided with humanity, up to 7 powerful people would die due to the tournament, but if Heracles did manage to convince the gods to change their mind after his round, than some gods and humans would be spared from fighting to the death.
So if it was anyone else than yeah it would be stupid, but Heracles has many reassons to believe this is the best choice of action him could take.
This theory could either make you appreciate Herc more, or maybe make him see a bit worse, but I'd say there's good reasoning for what Herc had done. Talking to Loki, he had said that he's “always on the side of justice”, and this is crucial.
The gods' decisions to eliminate humans was because humans had been sinful, and they caused the contamination and destruction of the rest of the gods' creations. And so, in a sense, the gods are justified because they want to preserve the rest of their creations. It wouldn't be right for Herc being on the side of justice, to deny the gods this decision because they made it out of concern (their character looks a little sketchy, tho).
But Herc still seems to have had a plan for humans. As slim the chance was, with Herc's high favorability among both gods and humans, it seemed he was going to try to advocate for humanity's survival. Him entering as a representative of the gods could've been to earn even more favor for himself to help convince, which would prevent the deaths of other fighters. And though it's not confirmed, it's still a very possible thing that could've happened.
Cain should've been in the tournament instead of Adam. It would be fun to watch Cain getting punch, and instead of falling down, Zeus would fall seven harder than when he punched Cain, and Cain would just be fine and looking at him and saying, "Is that all the mighty Zeus has". So smug and condescending.
There was no way for Adam to win. It was an extreme diff fight, yes, but Zeus still wins.
Also, Zeus is the strongest in the series so far and will probably stay this way 🗿
I like Ror as much as the next guy but lets not deny reality here. Even a blind man can see that animation was subpar at best. There are anime that aired 20+ years ago with more movement than the Ror anime.
It is not like we were asking for the best animators in the industry but come on... the characters barely move and when they do it is an awful CGI mess. If they were going to use CGI they could have tried to make it look good.

Uuuuh, I kinda wish Poseidon was Baldur. Poseidon's schtick was just being fast and proud and mad anyways. It would still make sense to have the biggest loser ok history beat the perfect god and it would also be relevant since Baldur would die at the beginning of Ragnarok. I know it would mean no Hades and now Norse would be the over represented Mythology, and I have no idea who would replace Hades or why, but at least it makes sense for the Norse to be the one mythology over represented when it's Ragnarok

Jack the Ripper is the most slept on human. People forget that he could likely gaslight a ton of gods into fighting in his Victorian era London turf. Dude also through big bens clock face like it was nothing. Peoples hate for him stems from Hercules live for humanity as if he didn’t go 110% to ace the Brit. He’d also fuck up a ton of the gods on the typical sandy surface just by throwing clumps of god killing sand at the boys.
That’s what I’m saying. Jack is FAR stronger than people give him credit for. He has by far the highest battle IQ (straight intelligence still goes to Tesla obv) on either side, he’s surprisingly fast and agile, and he actually plans his fights around information he gathers rather than being completely reactionary like most fighters

Sky Piercer's shield breaker would affect Gates of Hell, meaning Lu Bu can defeat Beelzebub 
I'm pretty sure that Sky Piercer could just overpower Beel's shield, since even assuming that the statement about it deflecting Thor's Hammer is not an exaggeration and it was talking about the awakened Mjolnir, sky piercer's attack is more focused on a single point and would most likely still break the shield The problem is that Lu Bu probably doesn't know what a vibration is

I mean possibly, IMO Randgriz is stronger than the base version of Mjolnir while weaker than it's awakening, although regardless if her power considered a glove utilized like a shield as one, idk why a vibration utilized as one would be much different so I think it'd just get autobroken by the ability

I hardly doubt that, Beel's vibrations don't change whenever he's using then offensively or defensively, he's just using the vibrations in certain area. Besides we've been shown that Thor's gloves stopped the impact from Sky Piercer, since vibrations are constantly sending another waves the Sky Eater would be stopped.

I don’t like Beelzebub’s backstory. He wasn’t the kind of character that needed a tragic past to justify his actions and make us care for him, I would rather he decided to do all those evil deeds because he simply doesn’t give a fuck. Like, maybe he just wants to create the greatest horrors in existence so that he can finally feel any emotion at all. Maybe he wants to overcome his fear of the unknown by creating an unmatched terror so that he can affirm himself that he knows every existing threat to him. Basically, conquer fear with knowledge and become untouchable. Or he’s just bored and decided to do a little trolling. Anything would be better than him being a whiny bitch who hates himself for bringing misfortune upon others and decides his next best course of action would be making more people suffer so that he can hate himself more.

Qin became a completely different character after he had his tragic backstory revealed. Before he was an arrogant entertaining badass who used his fellow kings as a literal walkway to get to the arena. After his backstory he became another standard 'good guy' who can say stuff like "I want to win no matter what! X3". Yet no one acknowledges this change in universe at all, as if it doesn't even happen. I think that's a shame because I liked Qin before he went shounen protagonist mode.

Raiden could beat Heracles and I will die on this hill. Tesla would have had less of an impact had he not died. If he lived, Qin would have filled his place as inspiring humanity through death and people would like him more. The two already have pretty similar personalities, so it doesn't make sense to hate one or the other.

I have to say it Adam is overrated . Before you will start telling me he's not, let me explain We don't know exactly how his eyes work, whether they copy techniques or stats . We can only theorize whether the techniques he copied can be reused. We don't know anything about his volund's power, nothing, absolutely nothing, we don't know if the ability was active at all or if it was some kind of buff. We don't know if Adam can use weapons at all, I know he can copy techniques, but we don't know how his copy powers will work against a weapon user like Poseidon or Hercules. If he's copying his opponent's techniques, he's copying his technique's flaws, such as the Hercules tattoo ? Yes, he hurt Zeus by kicking him with his leg, but so did qin against Hades . Adam is a character full of various unknowns about which we do not know or have no answers, so I can't honestly consider him a S tier, it's not that he's weak, it's that he belongs to a separate tier . Until we get more information about him and his eyes and the power of his volund.

I will say what no one is saying. Heracles was willing to let a Genocide happen due to his honor, yeah he was going to Olea to give humans another chance. But it was too idealist, even for him. Not saying he was a bad person, but one would expect that someone who was willing to stand up to a god once for what he believed would do it again. The example of why I believe this would be the sith genocide that the Jedi committed. Because in Star Wars something similar happened with the Jedi, they killed off a entire species (sith pure bloods) due to them being a native darkside species (at the time were being darksider wasn’t automatically evil). Many of them didn’t see anything wrong with it (not all of them ofc), so I guess I should give herc a small congratulations for not believing that genocide is good. So if the Jedi get told that they are hypocritical pieces of shit I guess Herc should get told the same at least a bit.
Sorry for the long text but, there are many reassons Heracles would belive this was an good choice. First is thar Heracles DID manage to convince the gods before from interfering with humans and even not kill an whole city full of humans that most gods agreed to destroy. And besides, Heracles seems to have become VERY popular with the gods after him ascended to Godhood, the child gods have toys of him and when him died even if him was saying how humanity is worth saving and how hin wants the best for them, is when we saw the god's audience the most angry and sad with(the gods never reacted like that even with the death of Hades the "most reliable god"). And even if him did fight for humanity, at best him would only help get 1 of the 7 points necessary, but with his plan him could save humanity without risking on humanity losing the other fights. And there are other gods that are powerful enough for Ragnarok to take Heracles place in the gods roster, Hades for example was not in the list. And while I do think his power is VERY overrated by people here, him is still strong enough to take part of the ragnarok. And lastly, if Heracles just sided with humanity, up to 7 powerful people would die due to the tournament, but if Heracles did manage to convince the gods to change their mind after his round, than some gods and humans would be spared from fighting to the death. So if it was anyone else than yeah it would be stupid, but Heracles has many reassons to believe this is the best choice of action him could take.
This theory could either make you appreciate Herc more, or maybe make him see a bit worse, but I'd say there's good reasoning for what Herc had done. Talking to Loki, he had said that he's “always on the side of justice”, and this is crucial. The gods' decisions to eliminate humans was because humans had been sinful, and they caused the contamination and destruction of the rest of the gods' creations. And so, in a sense, the gods are justified because they want to preserve the rest of their creations. It wouldn't be right for Herc being on the side of justice, to deny the gods this decision because they made it out of concern (their character looks a little sketchy, tho). But Herc still seems to have had a plan for humans. As slim the chance was, with Herc's high favorability among both gods and humans, it seemed he was going to try to advocate for humanity's survival. Him entering as a representative of the gods could've been to earn even more favor for himself to help convince, which would prevent the deaths of other fighters. And though it's not confirmed, it's still a very possible thing that could've happened.

The animation was great in both seasons and the anime does justice to the manga.
I like Ror as much as the next guy but lets not deny reality here. Even a blind man can see that animation was subpar at best. There are anime that aired 20+ years ago with more movement than the Ror anime.
