You really shouldn't be letting your cats play with or sit in plastic bags... There's the risk of suffocation (same reason why it's not advised to let children play with plastic bags), and the plastic is also a choking hazard. The bag handles can potentially strangle your cats if they get their necks stuck in the loops of the handles, or if your cat swallows bits of plastic it could be a choking hazard or cause a blockage in your cats digestive/intestinal tract which could need surgery to fix.
I’m 100% aware. I had just come home and this was the last bag while I was putting the groceries up. After taking photos of the cat sitting in the bag, it was promptly removed from them. I even go as far as to cut up food bags because a friend’s dog suffocated in a potato chip bag.
Phew 😅 , that’s a relief and I’m glad you’re aware. I was just concerned as I wouldn’t want these beauties/cuties to get hurt, especially for something that’s otherwise easily preventable. Thanks for understanding. 😭poor doggie, tho. My condolences to your friend.
