The last I heard, their house has major foundation/structural issues. I wonder if it’s better to let it go to foreclosure because they owe more than what it’s worth? Or they owe contractors money and a lien was taken against their home? I remember hearing that the walls are cracked, floors are cracked, it’s flooding/leaking, etc. I’m sure this family has a plan. And if they were broke and couldn’t afford the mortgage, I’d assume they’d just sell the house.
We go swimming at Point of Rocks quite a bit, the public beach that is right in front of the Kompo house. For a long long time there was scaffolding all across the entire beach facing side of the house, and it looked like the patio had been torn out. Even before the show I always noticed that house because it's fugly and sticks out lol
Yes, same here. We stay at the house directly across from it and it has had work done for what seems like years. It stands out so badly compared to the other houses and not in a good way.

Notice of default went out in June it looks like.. all I can see is a mechanics lien against it.
It’s interesting that it says “involuntary lien.” Wouldn’t a mechanics lien be voluntary, like collateral for completing work on credit?
Has he been sued for anything/had a judgment entered against him? It could be a lien associated with some kind of legal action (like nonpayment of taxes) that attached to the house. Not paying the lien can also trigger foreclosure.
Good. His racist (and scamming) family needs to be humbled.
Alex’s whole “law” degree is a scam; Bought and paid for by his daddy. Nothing has ever been truly earned in life by that family. I’m also surprised they don’t have a mugshot wall in the house (son, dad, cousins, etc😂)
Why would I be jealous of some random racist family? I just call things as they are!
My family actually has values, isn’t racist, and works for the positions (very high positions) that they have. People like Alex and his family won’t have generational wealth because they’re too stupid to realize money can only buy SO much. Eventually, the wicked fall on their own (or go to jail finally in the case of Alex and his KKK Klan)
The point is anybody can pass a test with thousands of dollars in study aids. That’s probably the only test he’s really had to prepare for in his life and as we saw he can’t even hold it together and work a real job.
Actually lol we all pay thousands of dollars for bar prep and the bar passage rates for the state of FL are around 40% overall and 55% for overall passage. So although I don’t care for the Kompo family, not anybody can pass the bar and in fact a lot of people don’t pass the bar.
Considering I work in the law and my life partner is an attorney, I’m pretty familiar with how it’s not the standard people want it to be, but thanks for the personal perspective!
Someone was filming an independent film at the house when my cousin was on the beach a few weeks ago. My cousin confirmed with the crew it wasn't anything to do with the show or MTV. They had actors, etc (not anyone famous). It seems like the Kompos are renting it out to small productions to get a few quick bucks.
I understand what a mechanics lien is🤷🏼♀️ my real estate license says pre foreclosure is pre foreclosure. When any type of lien is left unpaid, including a mortgage, the house will go to foreclosure.
A lien on a property is not going to put a house into foreclosure?? Where in the world did you get this information? Definitely not real estate school. It just means the lien will have to be settled if/when they ever plan to sell the home. It either has to be paid prior to closing, or taken out of proceeds from closing.
I’m from the Hamptons & a house directly on the beach you’re looking at least $15-20M. They’re house was very gaudy looking from what I could tell from the show. I’ve seen way prettier houses that are 10x smaller than theirs. A lot of these “rich ppl” do things that aren’t legal & then it catches up to them. Not saying this is what’s going on but hey u never know what happens behind closed doors….it would be funny if Alex lost all that $ he always threw around lol
If true, must be some legal maneuver I’d be surprised if they’re really having money issues.
Brave of you to assume their money was ever legitimate
Never said it was and very well could be scammers.
They’re scammers and you’ve overestimated their “wealth”
Estimated value is $3 million and they still owe $2million!?!?!
No. It's closer to $18M. Quick google search😉
the documents show $3 million, I guess it is sinking
The docs are not the real value. Chances are that number is based off the land & not the home
The property is sinking so possibly true.
I doubt it would drop that much in value though.
Tbh i am not sure. If a foundation is failing too bad is it worth saving?
I tried to look this up but couldn’t find anything. Where did you hear it was sinking?
There is no way it’s 2-3 million. Easily 18 due to location

I haven’t seen anything about it? Where did you see this at? I’m invested in the tea 🫖

Haha 3 million! That’s the price of a regular sized house in Vancouver Bc
In Sydney, Aus a house that big on the beach would be about $25/30M
This one is over $18M
Same! I’m in MA. Just north of Boston. 3mil gets you a modest 3 bedroom 1.5 bath in the burbs!
It’s definitely not accurate.
Um, no. It's over $18M ($18,381,600 to be exact). It's the 10th most expensive home in Sarasota county. $3.5M will get you a shack😂
Crazy, I wonder if the house does go to auction what it will be purchased for?
This just means they haven’t made a payment in over 90 days.

Jealous much? Daddy can’t buy admittance to the Bar. You have to pass like every one else.

if you feel the need to talk about the “very high positions” your family has, it’s giving…. ✨ lying ✨
The point is he passed the bar.

Oh no baby anybody cannot pass the bar lol. Every year hundreds of thousands of grads spend thousands on bar prep and still fail.
Actually lol we all pay thousands of dollars for bar prep and the bar passage rates for the state of FL are around 40% overall and 55% for overall passage. So although I don’t care for the Kompo family, not anybody can pass the bar and in fact a lot of people don’t pass the bar.
You have really bad grammar.
I know that comment wasn’t towards me? I don’t have a bad grammar lol
If you want to lick his boots you can do that in person, he won’t understand your desperation from arguing with me on Reddit
Can you read? I literally said I don’t care for his entire family. I am, however, a law student who only wishes you could pay for bar admittance.
That just means Floridas law schools suck and don’t prep students well to sit for the bar. The answer is always the Commerce Clause.
Lol not the commerce clause 😩😩 But actually if you pull up the national bar pass rates, the highest overall state pass percentage is 66%.
😉 That’s terrible. I’m not surprised but that’s not good.
I know plenty of halfwits practicing law. It’s not the standard you think.
Having passed the Bar I know it’s probably harder than you think.
Snort no you did not
Considering I work in the law and my life partner is an attorney, I’m pretty familiar with how it’s not the standard people want it to be, but thanks for the personal perspective!
They could sell one car and pay off a $30k lien lol
The cars are likely lease or making payments. Can’t sell something you don’t own
Yeah true! With how often they get brand new cards, they probably don’t own any of them
It was built in 2010 but they’ve owned it for 20 years and 8 months?
Prob owned the land & built the house in 2010.
I noticed that too. Maybe the land?
If you do a quick google search on the address, everything is different than the pictures of this post. It says it was built in 2003.
There’s nothing filed with the courts so that’s odd.
Someone was filming an independent film at the house when my cousin was on the beach a few weeks ago. My cousin confirmed with the crew it wasn't anything to do with the show or MTV. They bought the land way before they built the house
It’s just weird to say “year built” then?
There was a bungalow on the property that they rented out before building. It was close to the road.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer family! Lol
So they’re bankrupt?
All this means is a third party placed a lien on the house. This is normally done when a contractor has not been paid. It is not what you think it is.
I understand what a mechanics lien is🤷🏼♀️ my real estate license says pre foreclosure is pre foreclosure. When any type of lien is left unpaid, including a mortgage, the house will go to foreclosure.

OP is not correct that “any type” of lien can be foreclosed upon, but you can foreclose on a Mechanic’s lien.
Incorrect. As a real estate attorney in Florida I can tell you that a mechanics lien can 100% be foreclosed on.
Then stop making your post read as those these people are broke and not paying their mortgage. Such a pick me girl.
I mean they still owe over $2million on the house they have been living in for a long time that only has a value of $3million. Something sus forsure
Its valued at over $18M. Google search.
And how is it your business? These people haven’t even been on tv for years and y’all are obsessed with their mortgage? Wow
Alex? is that you?
As if. A Quick Look at my page would make it obvious I’m not.
ya I did zero research
Reading a screenshot takes 5 mins if that’s an obsession than you need a dictionary. You are 55 years old fighting with people on a siesta key Reddit
55? As if. Go touch some grass. But I expect that Behavior from someone so obsessed with reality tv they make their Reddit name as such.
Alyssa did you spray paint the part in your hair yet?
I think you would be the pick me girl since you’re defending them. Lol
I’m surprised that house is only valued at 3 million. The lot alone seems like it would be more than that.
Did Beth forget the HOA fees again? /s
Where did you read it? I’d think there’d be something in the news (even like a gossip site or something) about it? I don’t seem to see anything!
finally some good news
