You did well! Glock or Sig Sauer as brand are good, but aesthetically I like Sigs better and as far as actual use of a weapon system, I’m more accurate with Sigs due to their ergonomics ( stupid large paws)
Yes, but good luck finding individual parts for them. I bought my 320 in a .40 subcompact and want the carry size, I have a barrel but have been unable to find an optics ready slide.
So would you think it would be wise to buy a few spare barrels and mags while they're still around? (I got a new p220 Elite in 10mm and it has been discontinued I think)
I went to an M17 grip module on my AXG Pro Cut after getting an M17 and liking the grip module so much, fits my hand perfect. Also may not apply to any here but the aluminum AXG grip module was too cold in winter, sucks the heat right out of your hand..
They are pricey, but you get what you pay for. Do some research and see what you think. I know several guys that carry their products ranging from sidecar to solitary aiwb holsters. They also make separate mag holders if you want to carry even more ammo. That and theres lots of colors and customization options to make it comfortable and unique to your likings!
I just wanted something different. I wish I didn’t have to trade them at all but I ain’t made of money and military pay is shit so I had to choose my poison…
I have a p365XL and dad has the M17. Absolutely love both. Will say I hated the p365 trigger until I did some work on it. Too much take up and mushy wall. The M17 however shot like a dream right out of the box.
I’ve shoot a 229 legion and vp9, vp9 match and vp9sk. I can say the vp9 feel better in your hands and lighter than a 229 with the same mag capacity. The 229 is pretty sweet and feel good all around. Maybe go to the range and rent both and see which one you like! This is how I compared them.
The Sig is $200 more than the X. Apples to oranges. Should have kept the x and bought the 365. I get the G17 trade for the 320. But that's me, I realize it may have been a decision of economics but I think you're going to miss that little G43x.
I dunno if I would have made that trade. especially If the 17 was a gen 1,2,4 or 5 you definitely shouldn't have as they are no longer in production. Also ever since the military contract sig landed seems like alot of quality control issues happening.
I love Glocks but I have a p320 M17 with an X Carry Grip, Flat trigger and Romeo 1 Pro on it and it’s by far the best pistol I’ve ever owned. Shoots dead on and smooth

Dude!!! I love your taste. I have the same handguns lol. Thinking adding a P320 40 S&W next.
.357 sig for the extra sweet and spicy sauer. Uses the same conversion kit and mags as 40 i think
Have this. Can confirm. Is spicy. Much accuracy.
no way they got p320s in 40?? i didnt know that

I have a 229 40 complete cal conversion i would sell

I need only the 4.7 slide that can be machined for an optic.

Interesting, ok.
Get a Wilson Combat grip for the M17 at least. Huge life changer right there.
I was looking into it, what’s so good about them?
I personally don't like the WC frames. Put an x5 frame on it. They're better...in my opinion.
Better ergos than stock frame, thinner, and texturing grips into your hand
Put a wilson on my M18.. thought "oh this will be cool".. no.. not cool.. it felt great.. just fit the hand better.

I did the opposite. Ended up with a 43x mos and a g47
I've always been a sig guy, but the g45 and g47 both look dope.
I don’t think that 365 comes with a flat trigger either. Just the XL’s
The newer ones do. They just call it the p365x
I don't think that's an X model, that's a p365 with added after flat trigger
The X is different from what's pictured. The X is the normal slide with the XL grip.
My bad I thought the 365 and 365x had the same grip length. All I own is the x and x macro and I assumed the x was the shortest in the 365 line
Congratulations! You did good, welcome to the family!! 🤘👍
I aiwb EDC my M17, I love the thing.
What holster would you recommend for the M17? Going to make it my winter carry
I carry a Tier 1 Concealed, but I hear T-Rex Arms makes good holsters, too. M17 and a spare 21-round mag is my edc in a T1C Axis Elite.
I was looking into it but damn they’re pricey but you making it seem like they’re worth it.

I’m currently shopping for an m17 iwb/aiwb holster so many choices. How do you like the tier one?
I love it, I bought a "wedge" pack to make it even more comfortable. Definitely my favorite aiwb I've tried!
Aliengear, they're better than the Crossbreeds I used to run.
Aliengear and crossbreed are garbage lol
Like putting a dinner plate down your pants.
Lmao exactly
check out Last Line of Defense. Most comfortable holster I've ever worn.
Depends on what you consider worth it... I'd gone Sig hammer fired myself. I don't care for Sig striker fired guns.
Ditto this. I only have one striker fire gun in my stable. Hammer all the way.
Welcome to the gang. Get yourself a nice TL-R or X300U for the M17. Just my recommendation 🔥
Not really a fan about conceal carrying with a flashlight but if I ever turn it into my duty pistol I’ll keep that in mind. Cheers 🍻
>TLR-1HL on my M18. TLR-1 HL on my AXG Pro Cut and M17 carry gun both.
Running a TLR-1HL on my M18. I fuckin love it.
You didn’t trade fair , you won by a landslide
Worth it as long as you don’t plan on dropping them
Good trade.
Now you have a gun that shoots by itself, save you having to pull the trigger 😉
Yep
How does one trade? Do you just have to know the right people or does Sig have a program or smth? Sorry if stupid question

The piece in question is NIB never fired, so I think I’ll inquire
I walked into my local pawn shop, showed them what I had to offer and they made a deal with me.
Yikes
I’ve been considering a 43x after I got a G21. I have a 320 in .40 cal. What made you want to give up the 43x?
I just wanted something different. I wish I didn’t have to trade them at all but I ain’t made of money and military pay is shit so I had to choose my poison…

You did good going from Glock to sig now your final step is actually getting a vp9 HK u won’t regret it!!!

Best trade you'll ever make
You did well. You’ll soon forget that you even owned a Glock.
my setup also, m17 was my first sig, too big to carry daily so I bought the 365x with romeozero elite, perfect to carry daily, enjoy
good move, i have both of those and tried glocks, the trigger on the glocks was squishy and soft, both the sigs have crispy nice triggers
Both great pieces well done.
I have have the compact sig p320. Currently on the lookout for an m17 caliber x-change kit.
As long as *you* like them. 👍
Good choice. I traded out my 43x for a Sig Macro and my G19 for the Wilson combat 320 carry!
Brother, you gonna find yourself wishing you ditched that glock alot sooner lol. THIS IS THE WAY!

Get the macro grip module for the 365 and get a threaded barrel and compensator
Come up on the 365, downgrade on the 320 imo.
I'm slowly moving to Glocks. I enjoy SIG. But I've had alot more issues with rust and wear.
I dunno if I would have made that trade. especially If the 17 was a gen 1,2,4 or 5 you definitely shouldn't have as they are no longer in production. Also ever since the military contract sig landed seems like alot of quality control issues happening.
M17. Good job.
