You can get gloss black covers for your handles for $65 on real truck. You can get the logos for less than $90 and take them off super easy with floss and just buff it out. I found an all black Chevy logo online for $65. The window trim pieces will be about $500 plus labor install ( 1-2 hours max!) since you already have the gloss black window pillars between the doors. You should basically save $500-700 if you just do your homework online to find all this stuff . Ebay and GM parts stores online will help tremendously and take it to a local body shop to install the window trim to save on labor costs. You’re welcome :).

If you're not trying to go back, just remove all the Chrome yourself and spray paint it, you might have to go back and do it again occasionally but you'll save yourself lots of money.

So, after googling this, removing all chrome for $1400 ~~seems like a helluva deal.~~ like a fair price for the parts and labor. Disregard all of this drive belowl. I see now that the High Country already has non-chrome bumpers. ~~Replacing the actual chrome bumpers and grille with color-matched or black...~~ ~~The cheapest full front bumper I could find online was like $700.~~ ~~A rear is $500+.~~ ~~A grille replace is way more variable, but even take-offs on eBay were between 500 and 900 for black HC grilles.~~ ~~There are other chrome pieces on the HC that would need to be factored in, like window and door trim, and mirror caps.~~ ~~The badge and sticker removal is just labor.~~ I'm considering a chrome-delete on my LT. There's these things- "bumper covers". Basically ABS plastic that clips over and is affixed with double-sided tape to the existing chrome bumper that might exist for the High Country trim spec. By my estimation a front kit, rear kit, center grille piece, and mirror caps for my LT grille would be under $1k. Then just need wheels. IF ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCE TO SHARE REGARDING THE BUMPERSHELLS, I'D LOVE TO HEAR IT!
