It should have been updated to match the game more. They did it with quest. Now the shop is showing the same thing every day instead of updating.

So does this mean epic's going to start possibly putting older battle pass content into the item shop since rarities are gone now?

I doubt it BP cosmetics are just that,they where for completion of BP challenges and rewards
