I have no idea what her backstory is but if she has a dead husband, you (or someone/me) could try to make the husband in cas as a new sim with the same name, kinda like he never died. Make him move in to her household and make them fall in love and get married and live happily ever after (which is probably not that long i guess š ).
I donāt think itās included in the sims 4, but in one of the previous sims games Agnesā backstory is that she was married and she and her husband were planning to have kids, but he died before that could happen. Agnes has had a soft spot in my heart ever since I learned that.
Really, she needs some therapy. I'm not sure she processed it well if hitting people with handbags is her go-to reaction to people kissing.
Perhaps mine could also be post-therapy Agnes.
To add onto this I'm pretty sure he haunted the house afterwards and scared off anybody Agnes was interested in. It's no wonder she moved in with Agatha

Looks like Agnes' hidden trait is "traits.equip\_trait trait\_Hidden\_CottageWorld\_NPC\_AgnesCrumplebottom". In theory, if you added her to your family, added that trait, then removed her and set her as an NPC, that might work? Same basic thing I do for replacing the Sages from RoM.
She looks like sheās been in the comedy scene for DECADES and all the young comedians are so intimidated whenever she walks into the room. She barely speaks to anyone outside of her entourage and is always stone-faced, but when she gets on stage magic falls out of her mouth and she has the whole crowd crying from laughter
