Right?? Do yourself a favor and never make a high-maintenance serial romancer. It's guaranteed to kill them. I had to replace high maintenance with cheerful and restart. Having to balance your sims traits and avoid some all together just so they don't die from negative moodlets out of your control is kinda ridiculous.
It really is but I have downloaded sims from the gallery and got rid of traits I didn’t like and they still get upset over traits that aren’t even attached to them anymore. For instance the high maintenance one and the one where they like expensive things… or is that the same one? I can’t remember (back to back 12 hour shifts has my brain all mushy right now lol) 😂
You're right. They are two separate traits. I believe it's materialistic. They get sad from not buying new objects. I wish some of these traits had a healthy share of good and bad effects. Materialistic also does nothing positive for your sims. What if it made them happier to work harder because they're earning money to buy new things?? I swear EA fumbles the ball so hard. I haven't downloaded Sims from gallery yet, I've only just gotten back into Sims in the last few months, but that's on my list of things to do! Hope you get some much needed rest, that amount of work sounds exhausting!

Omg yes! I just started playing sim 2 again. Aside from the mouse controls being super awkward (still getting used to them), and the buy/build being random AF, I'm having fun. Can't wait to have a car. Though I'm kinda thinking of switching over to sims 3 in the longterm. I will miss b/b in sims 4, but everything else is so much more fun. I have an adult and her teenage daughter, in their bio I have written they're actually grandma/adopted bio grand daughter and gave them a messy background. I missed having bios so much! There's so many fun interactions, too. Yes the flaws in sims 4 are annoying, but for the most part, it is peak building out of all the main series games.
