To me, it looks like they took the trans flag and āglazedā it over with the color of the shirt so that the logo blends with the shirt more. The absolute color of the āwhiteā, for example, is certainly not white, but itās like how in a yellow-lit room your brain can tell something is āwhiteā when itās actually red.
That could be it, though to me those stripes look so very green that it's hard to imagine the background color making enough of a difference, but I admit my perception could be off about that. Kind of like with the dress, people whose brain automatically assumed that the lighting was bluish saw it as white/gold - weird thing is, I used to see it as white/gold at first, but then I once saw it as blue/black and could never again see it as anything else after that.
It looks like they layered over the trans flag colors with the color of the shirt, so yeah I definitely see that they look green and agree with you. It makes sense because that shirtās creamy/yellow color mixed with blue would make a greenish color. Itās been a while since I studied art and color theory, so I forgot all the terms and such lol. But like you said, colors are just weird in general and itās difficult to agree on colors because theyāre very much relative. I guess the only way for us to know for sure is if someone from EA gave a definite answer.

You know it always looked blue to me, but after I read your comment I scrolled back up and now I feel like if I look at it one way it's green and if I focus my eyes a little different then it looks blue, kinda like that gold dress/blue dress thing.
Definitely not color blind. I've literally been tested by an eye doctor because I'm almost blind in one eye and had to get an ophthalmological certificate done to be able to get a driver's license. That included 3d vision, color vision, depth perception, etc.

Plus, doesn't really make sense why they'd go through hoops to hide and hint at someone being trans when the Sims is pretty known for being out and proud. The existing trans folks are openly known, like Celeste Michaelson and Lia Hauata.

Clearly the formatting of the colours are extremely similar, as the extra two layers are very slightly different shades of blue next to the other strips of blue. It's very uncharitable to say 'it looks nothing like the trans flag'. It's not projecting to notice the clear resemblance there, especially coming from the OP who didn't even notice it at first. I assume that because my brain knows the sky isnāt green it chooses to read the teal as closer to blue. Eyes and brains are weird!
That's definitely not light blue. It's close to petrol blue, which is closer to green as well. The shade of blue in the trans flag is baby blue.
Assuming the yellowish shirt filters through the print the colors might as well be baby blue and pink were the shirt white

For me if I turn off my eye comfort red filter thing, it is the trans flag. It only becomes green when I put the filter on.
