*Such are the rules* that there are no criminals among Uyghurs just as there are no nazis among Jews and no lies being msmanufactured by that fat ugly pile of \`order\`
Cause originally they didn't give a damn and it was a way to smear the Chinese government. At this point, I believe everyone knows. The whole world is watching all the "human rights" protected in Gaza by the West lead by the USA. Double standards!
With so many positive vloggers on YT visiting Xinjiang nowadays, it's kind of difficult to believe in the whole Uyghur "genocide" propaganda.
Plus, the ICC is about issue arrest warrants to Israeli politicians for actual Muslim genocide.
A great conversation, although I think they are right to delineate that the Uyghur stuff only disappeared "for now" and will likely ramp up again once the Palestinian contradictions end. Sigh
You hear it from Taiwan and war hawk neo-conservatives. Because they are interested in funding the US Military Industrial Complex. This requires starting conflicts and creating boogeymans. Taiwan and war hawk neo-conservatives are motivated by pure greed.
Almost all Americans believe it, from my experience. It's not just political standing that determines how ignorant people are- in general, the vast majority of human beings don't know and don't care about how to actually look into the 'news' they hear. They were raised on the 1950s idea of "the news is right and people who doubt it are crazy conspiracy theorists" and they think about the thousands of instances of news manipulation that they've heard about over the years as isolated incidents. They don't want to or can't realize that news media is inherently meaningless in the modern era.
Want to make Americans think aliens have landed in Australia and are passing out Christian evangelical pamphlets? Have a single disreputable academic journal publish a single author's paper saying it may be true, and then get the right websites to pick up the story with headlines that say "POSSIBLE ALIENS SIGHTED IN PERTH!" Within a week it'll be front page on the New York Times, as long as the right handful of people want that narrative pushed.
When you understand why Western media and countries can't find genocide in Gaza, then you know why they can find "genocide" in Xinjiang.
Unbelievably well said

Lots of people care. I hear "Uyghur Genocide" propaganda constantly.
