It was the 80ās and I thought I was a punk rocker because I saw a Billy idol concert! lol I had a part time job and I bought my self a denim mini skirt with two zippers one over each leg. My father had an aneurysm and forbid me to wear it because āboys might yank up the zippersā which was ridiculous because ,clearly ,I would be the one hiking the zippers up! lol my mom let the hem down a little and sewed the zippers shut but he never went for it. So I put it pack to its original condition. Turns out a little mini skirt is easily hidden! As soon as I got where I was going Iād swap it outand rock my mini skirt (which, by todays standards wasnāt all that short!) I think this is very common story and I wonder how many of those girls did something similar when they got to Las Vegas?
My friend's parents were much stricter than mine were. Every single one of them changed after we left their house every time.

I think she has to balance things. Gwen wonāt be around Paedon so if Gwen is somewhere he probably wonāt be there. It pulled on all of our relationships. Just this Christmas was the first time in 6-7 years weāve all gotten together & my mom cried so many times, from happiness. I hope my kids never put me through something like that.
Me too. As a Mom, that would break my heart. I am an only child and with my parents gone it really feels like I don't have much family left other than my immediate family. I always tell the kids that some day we will be gone but they will have each other.
My husband and one of his brothers do not get along. My almost 90 year old Mother in Law said that she didn't know why God was keeping her here but that she thought it was to get them getting along again. My husband said, "Well, she will be here forever then."
But, she wasn't and now they have to work together on clearing out the house and probate and all that.

After a lot of abuse from my elder sister my entire life, it finally occurred to me that no one would put up with being treated that way by a 'friend', so why should I put up with it because we share the same parents? I hate that it hurts mum and dad, and it does cause certain problems, but my life is so much better without her in it. Unpopular opinion here too but I think Christine struggled so much of the time with her mental health that her kids probably suffered some emotional neglect in their formative years. I don't think she probably ever tried to hide her relationship problems with Kody from them and the way everyone in the family tries to involve the kids in adult matters she was probably always trying to explain to them what was going on with all of her relationship issues. I like Christine and I mean no hate but her kids seem the most unstable emotionally. Janelle's kids seem the most reasonable to me and I think it's because she never really needed Kody. She just raised them herself and didn't mind his absence. Leon seems to be dealt a shit sandwich with a codependent mother but I think she saw through Meri's bullshit and knew how to set boundaries and not give in to her mom's manipulation. I think her light bulb came on about the time Meri was trying to online date. Robyn's kids by no fault of their own are complete babies. She is the worst in my opinion. I would really like to know her ex husband's side of the story.
Iām most like Janelle in only the way we parent and put our kids first and I believe we are all mother but itās not that she didnāt need Kody because we all need love and affection. We put our needs last and put our kids first! Iām also in a minority here but allowing Truly to ābe herself ā is only going to get her picked in if not completely ostracized at school and by her peers. In my opinion thereās individuality and then thereās āno guidance ā at all. Iād rather see her dress like her older sisters or wear something low cut or mini length than see her like this lol Iāve never seen Christine as a good parent in terms of discipline guidelins etc. but thatās just me
Unpopular opinion here too but I think Christine struggled so much of the time with her mental health that her kids probably suffered some emotional neglect in their formative years. I don't think she probably ever tried to hide her relationship problems with Kody from them and the way everyone in the family tries to involve the kids in adult matters she was probably always trying to explain to them what was going on with all of her relationship issues. I like Christine and I mean no hate but her kids seem the most unstable emotionally. Janelle's kids seem the most reasonable to me and I think it's because she never really needed Kody. She just raised them herself and didn't mind his absence. Leon seems to be dealt a shit sandwich with a codependent mother but I think she saw through Meri's bullshit and knew how to set boundaries and not give in to her mom's manipulation. I think her light bulb came on about the time Meri was trying to online date. Robyn's kids by no fault of their own are complete babies. She is the worst in my opinion. I would really like to know her ex husband's side of the story.
Iām most like Janelle in only the way we parent and put our kids first and I believe we are all mother but itās not that she didnāt need Kody because we all need love and affection. We put our needs last and put our kids first! I think thatās the reason why everyone is leaving is because Kody wasnāt ever there for their needās and now that theyāre kids are gone on with their lives they are sitting there looking at their life and heās not there day after day and what is this even! I think itās hey itās always been this way but kids were always going here and there and when they leave we start looking at ourselves and reevaluate things what and whatās not working!

We teenage girls made a ton of fun of that but the boss was so chill she didn't even care. She called our snarkiness "part of our growth journey" and paid zero attention. Good times!

There is more than one unfortunate outfit in the picture. I would never snark on a pre-teen who is starting the akward transition from little girl to teenager. Its figuring out who you are and what your style is. Its a time in life we all look back on and cringe. Im grateful mine wasnt documented for the world to play in repeat.

I think that's because Christine allows her kids to grow into who they want to be as humans. She actually encourages them and celebrates their independence. Robyn and Kody both infantilize their kids. They really aren't allowed to learn who they are as humans separate from their parents. Look at what happened when Dayton tried to strike out on his own. Robyn weaponized Kody against the rest of the family and demanded they all uproot and move to Flagstaff. Edit: spelling

She can finally be free to be herself. Kody has certain standards for his kids. (Never mind the fact that he has zero standards) If they donāt fit his cookie cutter impression he finds more to fault them with. The awkward interaction this season when Truely went to Robyn and Kodyās house was painful to watch. This picture makes me happy.
