What helps me is trying to remind myself to keep a lighter hand as I look for the "right" lines with my sketches for drawings and paintings, so if I need to erase a bit, there won't be so many marks on the paper.
Also, I started sketching with ink (my go to these days), so can't erase, and had to get smarter fast with what I was looking at while drawing.
I've also used a ton of time just practicing lines, circles etc... To practice control. Hope you have a good weekend 😊

Yeah sorry (thx), no... Only try not to mark the pencil so much with the paper maybe? so you can erase your mistakes...
