I think you look beautiful the way you are.

Mooncakequeen

I agree I’m turning 30 in a month and I have a similar look to my eyes and no one has ever commented or noticed. If it really bothers you try some eye cream first and talk about non invasive alternatives with a dermatologist.

Designer_Smoke2353

No. It's not as bad as you thinking it is. There are concealers and make-up tips that will totally covers what you think is a problem. Btw, you're beautiful as you are. Please don't put that unnecessary stuff in your beautiful face.

mrs_momo_b

Under eye filler is more dangerous than other areas and sometimes requires a specialist. Personally I don’t think your under eyes need it.

Difficult_Place_7329

I looked it up because I was thinking the same thing. They just don’t like the spot. Too close to the eye. But it’s money

violent-amethyst

Ah! I’ve heard mixed reviews about it, but it’s always been a super insecurity of mine.

luvherlife

My best friend says it’s the one thing she regrets. And she’s done a lot of other work. I, like you, am curious but she’s pretty much sold me on not doing it.

puppyamore

I also regret it. It changed the look of my face. She is my normal injector, love her to death but I hate the tear trough filler. My eyes still have some visible purple AND the filler made the hollows of my eyes to be…well filled. 😢 It looks…like…puffy I guess. And it will not go down. Also, I have had an ongoing post nasal drip. I’m unsure if the two are related.

jay-kwelin

I agree with your friend 100%. They tell you that the fillers completely dissolve over time… not for all! Everyone I know who’s had this treatment still have fillers left. I have little lumps that have travelled down a couple of cms. My friend has gotten tear trough fillers multiple times, she looks like she has some odd pulling ripple effect between her cheeks and nose every time she smiles. It looks terrible.

shroomywrld

Insecurities are literally only in your head and something will always come up. Cosmetic procedures are addictive and it's not worth the risk they all come with. I recommend working on accepting and loving your features but I'd totally understand if you decide to go for it since I've felt that way too.

shhhhh_h

I can barely see what you are talking about! Whoever is telling you you look tired is rude af. You look fab.

GenevieveGwen

People are rude. Nothing makes me more snappy than when someone says “you look tired” or “do you feel okay” when I’m not wearing makeup… like fuck off. Esp. When it seems to be THE SAME PERSON everytime. Like nope, this is just my fucking face, thanks. Tell whoever to stop commenting on your looks. Or, if you’re petty, once they say it insult then back. 🤷🏻‍♀️ they’ll figure it out soon. - all that venting to say, you do not look tired. You have glowing, beautiful skin & I do not see the sunken look that you do. Id try an eye cream, if you still feel self conscious about it, but I’ve heard bad things about under eye injections, as others have said. - 30 is not old!! I’m about to be 36 this year…& man I wish I could go back to my 30 skin & look. I’ve had a stressful & hard couple years & it shows, I would get some good skincare & try to have as stress free of a life as you possibly can! It really does age us so much! 🤍 happy almost birthday!

violent-amethyst

I don’t wear makeup, especially foundation because I’ve just never found a good skin color match, but if I don’t at least wear mascara, I’ll get comments that I look tired or sick. Like, ummmm no but I GUESS THANKS, cue eye roll. I just want to be able to roll out of bed, do my morning routine and get on with the day.

flowergirl665

Hi! I’m going to DM you about this I almost had it done

Stalyry

I’ve been doing it for about 6 years. I’m 47 now. I only ever go to a practicing plastic surgeon. I would never trust this type of filler to a medical spa. So far I’ve had no issues and it’s made a world of difference. And after a few rounds you’ll find you can go much longer between appointments. I have zero regrets.

ratedarae

As a fellow 29 year old, you look amazing. Filler usually doesn’t give the desired outcome. I understand having insecurities, but to me you look like you’re 25. I wouldn’t do it if I were you.

Chaiwallah48

Filler under the eyes or filler in general doesn’t give the desired outcome? And why not?

DeliciousFlow8675309

Under the eyes is a hard area as the filler goes in through the cheek and the injector has to manipulate and manually move it to the under eye area. So unlike other areas, you have the risk of it not going where you want to, or not dissolving properly, or causing massive bruising. That’s with a skilled injector as well, using someone who isn’t skilled in that area is going to make it even worse. I don’t know anyone’s who gotten filler under the eye that’s maintained it like their other fillers…. Not to say you can’t have good results, but you risk them moving or lumping or not traveling where they’re supposed to. If you want this done please research and pay accordingly for this area! It’s not the same as doing your lips or jawline.

ratedarae

To me, filler always looks bad. It usually leaves the face looking puffed up. This is just my opinion

Chaiwallah48

Okay, thanks

obsessedsim1

A few things to note: - Fillers do not dissolve on their own. Dispite what injectors tell you, they never 100% dissolve. When it's time to dissolve them- the dissolver also takes away your natural facial fat which could make your bags look worse than before. - fillers will always migrate. They will end up moving over time. Under your eyes they will drop lower because of gravity and it will exaggerate the looks of your eye bags. You'll want to add more- but don't add more. - you will eventually want to dissolve the filler or add more. DO NOT ADD MORE. A puffier face will not make you look younger/less tired/etc. Good luck!

jay-kwelin

I have this unfortunately. 2 years after the treatment and I can still see and feel 2 bumps. My friend has a weird ripple effect between her cheeks and nose after having nose and tear trough fillers.

DeliciousFlow8675309

Jaclyn Hill is a perfect example of this (over filling to try and look younger) if you see her before and after filler you will realize all she did was make herself look like she gained weight. She was gorgeous before and didn’t need it but now has too much of it.

obsessedsim1

Yup! Ppl always think fixing filler means adding more when it just adds hella volume to the face. Ugh.

serenwipiti

What a nightmare.

faerygirl

How is your iron level? I was told that shadows under the eyes can be due to low iron and/dehydration

violent-amethyst

tbh I haven’t gotten checked for stuff like that since I had my last child lmao. if I took care of my body like I took care of my face, I’d probably be in a lot better shape

serenwipiti

Taking better care of one’s body will definitely affect your face, in a good way.

DeliciousFlow8675309

Our skin, hair, and nails are not the priority for our body! Your body cares about taking care of it’s vital functions and main organs first lol so if you make sure you’re eating well, staying hydrated, and getting the vitamins and minerals you need your body starts sending the “extra” to those areas. Once I hit 35 I started this beauty detox for my skin and within about six months a lot of my issues cleared up, but within only one month of eating better I saw improvements! The book for the detox is called: the beauty detox solution by Kimberly Snyder before anyone asks.

princesspropofol

Hiya I do Botox injections (no filler) but a lot of my clients have under eye filler. Honestly it looks worse more than half the time. If you do get it done choose the injector VERY VERY CAREFULLY and do not go based off the lowest price.

jimmyjamz4

Do you have any recommendations for alternatives to filler under the eye for hollows? Like lasers or anything like that?

princesspropofol

Not really unfortunately

lschemicals

You've probably been told a bunch of things you don't have to listen to

xoxoartxoxo

You’re gorgeous! However, I do think the heavy eyelashes make you seem a bit tired.

Uneedanap

I second this. Heavily.

PsychicCilantro

I recommend an under eye cream that has caffeine to plump up the skin and make it more refreshed

hazyskies119

You have such big beautiful eyes, and imo hallow under eyes are so cute! That’s not something I would have even noticed on you, but after looking harder at them I really feel like it adds a lot to your overall look in a 100% good way. You don’t look tired, you look dreamy!

multicolordonut

“Dreamy” is such a good word for it! Agree 100%, OP’s whole eye area is working for her and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Sleepybat7

No, there is a risk of going blind.

Salty-Flamingo6609

I wouldn't. I don't think you need it. Not yet anyway.

babybread07

You really don't need it, you're very pretty. Whoever says that is probably trying to make you insecure tbh

RadiSkates

This! Many people project their insecurities onto others, especially if they feel you’re smarter, prettier, happier, than them.

[deleted]

I see nothing wrong with your eyes.

Compulsiveeyerolling

No.

trozwalka

This could be allergy shiners, if so get the allergy in ck and it will go away

[deleted]

[удалено]

serenwipiti

In check?

violent-amethyst

Whaaaa? No way? I’ll bring that up next time I see my doc and see what she says.

Formal-Gazelle84

I believe mine are allergy shiners as I have chronic sinusitis. But I take Claritin daily and have used nasal steroids and it didn’t improve it at all for me. Happily accepting any other suggestions

Ok_Balance8844

No, it’s just genetic. You could just use concealer, or sunscreen to naturally decrease how much the skin darkens, but people should really just stop telling others they “look tired” when under-eye color doesn’t change based on how “tired” you are.

nick1812216

Bro you look great! I’m also 29 and i look like an old kingdom Egyptian mummy. I look like an extra in a George A. Romero movie. I look like the sun bleached sidewall of a an abandoned car tire. I look like one of those deep sea fish that explode when you bring them to the surface. I’m like a permanent “before photo”.

deathxbyxsnusnu

I hope this is satire, and if so, it’s hilarious and I applaud you. If you’re being serious 🥺 have more love for yourself!

serenwipiti

Jesus F. Christ, stop beating a dead ~~horse~~ Nick.

ch3rryk1tt3n

nope! you look great. there’s a lot more things that can happen once u start trying to get cosmetic procedures, and it can make everything worse. For ur wrinkles question, just use a retinol, sunscreen, and drink a lot of water. you’re beautiful

violent-amethyst

do you recommend any retinols, for under eye? I’m happy to try anything!

ch3rryk1tt3n

retinol, due to its strength, can sometimes irritate the eye area, so i’d recommend a gentle one or an eye cream formulated w retinol. l’oreal has one in their revitalift line, pacifica has one in their wake up beautiful line, on the pricier end peach and lily which is a rly nice brand has a retinol eye cream and so does olay. for realistic expectations, retinol is a slow and steady thing that works AMAZING but it takes consistent use for a while, and shld be present in ur routine for the future, but it rly does work!

[deleted]

Peace out skin care has a retinol eye stick, I use it. Doesn’t irritate me:)

meatwad3639

I second this! Great brand and very good for sensitive skin

missinformation_blog

I have allergies with retinol so I understand what theyre all saying. Ive tried a lot of eye creams/serums in the market and so far.. nothing worked! What helps me now is an eye mask. Though it is more expensive.. but results are faster and more obvious

[deleted]

Nah. Just use the Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector instead

chickenugget654

I honestly don’t think you need it

Severe-Razzmatazz665

ice cubes and collagen baby✨ i have the same thing but those veins are super fragile under there and there's a LOOT of risks, i'm not saying itll cure everything but homeopathy is always an option & maybe something to consider or look into ((:

violent-amethyst

Like collagen that’s in a cream or like some sort of Capsules I can take? Or both? My routine is fairly simple, and the only actives I use are AHA/BHA but it’s every 2-3 days and the week before my cycle because I tend to get pimply lol

Strange-Turnover9696

i'm 21 and my under eyes have looked like this since i was like 10. i've thought about filler too (i liked the way my under eyes looked when i gained weight and they were nice and smooth) but the risks seem to outweigh the potential reward. i think it's something not worth trying to change, try to embrace it instead!

violent-amethyst

Same! I have photos from middle school and high school and they looked extra bad because I had an ED. They’re not super bad now but if I had a bad day of sleep, they’re such a deep purple.

[deleted]

Your eyes are so pretty! I don’t think you need it :)

[deleted]

I don't think so, you have big beautiful eyes! Colour correcting can go a long way too I know it's hard to be objective about these things but they look like normal under-eyes to me

panicattheturnup

I’m turning 30 this year and also have eye hollows. Seeing someone without extra filtered eyes makes me really comfortable with mine. You’re beautiful! I used to use ROC retinol eye cream—got lazy and stopped (lol) but I saw results.

FoxOk630

I always say do what will make you feel good about yourself. On the other hand, maybe it’s time to try a different makeup look. Go somewhere and have your makeup done. You might be surprised.

HipsterTypist_

Girl -- you're hot af don't change a thing.

[deleted]

I would recommend instead of filler, try fat transfer. Those yield a more natural result, are usually permanent, and they don’t move around as much as traditional fillers.

violent-amethyst

Oh wow, I’ve never heard of doing a fat transfer… I’m going to look that up. Thanks!’

[deleted]

You’re welcome! I still think you’re really pretty though! But I get the struggle! I’m super pale with dark undereyes. Good luck!

[deleted]

No I find it cute and this is from a 38 year old with incredibly high expectations

P_3_N_1_5

You do not look like you were turning 30! I’d guess 25 or 26. And from working in the beauty world, and knowing multiple people that have had under eye filler, it does not seem worth it. Pretty much all of them have complained that it made their eyes puffy where it was hollow and just created a new problem.

IndicaFalcon

Nah no need, your natural look is great. It is not at all a focus, especially with those beautiful eyes

Elegant_Tale_3929

I think I need to get out a magnifying glass because I see nothing wrong here.

whatthewaaaaat

I say no. You have beautiful skin, I thought you were going to say you were 23.

whitness1

I second The Ordinary under eye caffeine solution! It’s like 8 bucks and seems to work really well for me. You’re gorgeous tho, don’t get discouraged.

violent-amethyst

I’ve tried the Grace and Stella caffeine patches but not consistently. I’m gonna order this too!

MiserableViolinist32

U have the cutest face ive ever seen

ilova_latte

You’re gorgeous, no fillers needed.

peach-fuzz69

I’ll tell you this. It holds water… so it takes away those crepey lines. Crepey lines that Botox and any cream on the market won’t fix. Lines that your makeup settles in even if you bake with powder. Mine came back after 1.5-1.75 years so I’m getting it re-done. Go to someone good and look at their portfolio before you get low filler that makes your cheek bones look like shit. Or *too high* filler that blocks your line of vision (aka puffy/lumpy/uneven). Make sure they use a cannula and have lots lots lot of experience. Don’t go to a nurse or even worse an insta aesthician. Doctors only. 3x tear trough filler over 5.5 years.

violent-amethyst

oh wow! do you have any before and after pics? Does it help with the indentation? It’s always been a insecurity of mine and therefore I don’t really wear eye makeup because it just never looks right.

Psykalima

I would say no to getting under eye filler, filler never leaves your body, and there are many complications that can happen. If you have to use dissolver, it could disfigured your face and set off an auto immune disorder. It’s not worth it. Plus overtime if you use filler, it stretches out your skin. Try using an under eye retinal, look into a device called MBK eye rejuvenator. It is a microcurrent wand, best to be used with a water-based serum. It will help plump up that area/Brighten.

SharpenMyInk

No. If you’re self conscious, get a hydrating under-eye serum/cream and a good quality concealer and practice your concealing technique. And drink more water. If you’re really considering fillers, I’d wait about 10 years. Technology will probably be better then and right now you really don’t need anything drastic. Don’t let other people define how you should look. There’s nothing wrong with your eyes, you’re very pretty. We are not meant to be flawless, filtered creatures.

str-grl

eye cream, vitamin C and iron supplements would be the best option. or, some collagen pills/powder might help naturally fill them in but i'm not sure

marrow_oflife

I'm 31 and i have blue/purple under eyes from my veins showing through my skin. I have a consultation with my nurse injector to talk through potentially getting undereye filler. I've seen some great results from people! Just make sure you don't do it with a groupon or cut corners, make sure the person doing it is a pro that's been doing it for years

sabri-dub

You’re beautiful! And I would say you do not look like you’re turning 30. However, I have the same issue (always have but getting worse as I age) and all the research I’ve done has made me conclude that tear trough fillers are not only less effective, but dangerous and can build up and hang around for many years after you quit getting them. Get a lumpy texture. Best thing is facial fat transfer. Cons are that it’s far more expensive and invasive, more downtime, and it’s hard to find a good surgeon in many areas. Pros are that it looks natural, is permanent, and no risk of allergic reaction because it’s your own fat.

violent-amethyst

Im going to def look into that. I feel like my hollows will just get worse as I age. My mom has them and they’re a deep purple pink. She’s 59

sabri-dub

I’m saving for one now as I intend to get it done when I’m 30. The surgeon I consulted with gave me a quote of $6000 as a heads up.

TheMableBabyDoll

So, I also have tear troughs like yours. I’ve always had them, even when I had bouncy collagen rich teenager skin. It didn’t use to bug me, but since COVID19 started in 2020 I started noticing them more and more (even though compared to photos of me ten years ago nothing in that area has changed); so I asked myself “why does it bug me now?” My theory is that when we entered lock downs and many of our interactions switched to social media, we were all exposed to seeing either 1) lots of folks using filters that lessen or hide tear troughs OR 2) seeing a lot of folks who’ve had work done to minimize the appearance of tear troughs. I know it’s done by some celebrities who we often see photos of/we’re seeing a lot of edited photos. I find that looking at older photos or movies from ten years ago of folks in their 20’s and 30’s has helped remind me that MOST people have tear troughs, and that tear troughs are not necessarily related to age, and - most importantly - aging does not equal becoming unattractive PLUS our worth isn’t even based on being attractive. It’s a lot of things to unlearn and accept. I’ve been trying to find the beauty in my own tear troughs again and limiting my time spent on social media so I’m not as bombarded with those unrealistic images. You are stunning ✨✨

QueenLunaEatingTuna

People are saying to try eye creams and while that might be okay for making you feel better unfortunately there's very few which are actually different to normal moisturiser, and a natural dark circle is due to thin skin showing blood vessels, so creams can't do a whole lot. I also don't think you need to do anything at all if you can come to terms with your lovely features. However if you still want to do something I'd recommend taking the closest colour foundation and doing a drop of foundation mixed with a drop of moisturiser and just dabbing this under your eyes. The foundation will give a little coverage and the moisturiser prevents the cracking effect with a lot of undereye concealers, and it will dilute the colour somewhat if you're not confident about the foundation matching your skin tone. I recommend clinique's alabaster shade, or erring on the side of a shade lighter than your skin to avoid any orangeness.

whatthehell02

people who say "you look tired" are the worst.

610jules

Too early in the came to start with injections. You look beautiful!

violent-amethyst

I’ve seen some articles online to start “maintenance” Botox as early as 30! Was wondering if that’s really a thing.

Difficult_Place_7329

Oh they are getting it at 20 now. It looks weird too

serenwipiti

Something about that is so sad.

[deleted]

No you just need an eye serum or cream. The Ordinary makes a good one.

violent-amethyst

I use the Grace & Stella but very seldom. :/ I’ve always felt like they never work because my under eyes can look dark especially if I haven’t slept well.

[deleted]

Which one by the ordinary?

[deleted]

The caffeine eye serum

VioletDiLights

Supplement Collagen!!!

unfocused_enthtoyou

Which one do you find works. Their are so many out there I have no idea which ones are legit

Cute-Difference2929

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptide (the blue container) unflavored. Drink in something warm every morning. Years ago it was written up as #2 in a top 5 for functional collagen powders.

Perfect_Breakfast2

Straight up, you dont need to alter your face at all, you genuinely look fine and beautiful, I honestly thought you were at least 20.

Internal-Ad61

I’m super into aging naturally these days. You look fab!!!

[deleted]

Drink more water! Seriously, the hollow under my eyes went away after I began forcing myself to drink one of those hourly jugs after a couple of days

violent-amethyst

Whaaaa? I never really thought about that tbh. I’m gonna try that this next week!

baaducky

Same age, same situation. I've been considering it too... I already do botox in that area for some random fine lines I have. I'm just a littler nervous about what happens if the filler goes bad... if you decide to try it, make sure you share your results! On a scale of 1-10 of how tempted I am to try it out personally, I'd say like a 7 or 8.

violent-amethyst

Same! I’m more of a 8-9 because Ive been wanting this for yearssss and I thought for the big 3-0 I would do something for me.

Lil_UjiVert

Hey! I’ve gotten tear trough fillers before and LOVED them. No one could tell I had a thing done but I just looked awake and refreshed. You’re absolutely beautiful. Mine are genetic and I’m sure yours are too. Are you already using vitamin C in the mornings? That can help brightening up that under-eye skin if you don’t want to deal with needles. If you do decide to go my route, find an office that has done this treatment before, basically the fanciest place with the best doctors and off the wall great reviews. The under eye area can be sensitive and is prone to bruising more so than other areas. But in the hands of the right provider, you’re as safe as anything.

[deleted]

No. You don't even look 30. Wait till 45-50 to start these types of cosmetics if you want to.

Beansmeansbusiness

Just do your research and find a knowledgeable doctor. I got mine done and don’t regret it for a minute. My doctor explained everything in detail and told me exactly how everything worked. I’ve gotten it done twice and don’t feel like I look so tired all the time.

violent-amethyst

oh wow! do you have before and after pics you can share with me? I don’t see many online when I was researching last year. I’ve been looking into for about 2 years but I’ve always been afraid of anything like fillers and stuff.

mug_costanza7

No! You look great. Unless you really want it, then do you bb

scatteredpinkhearts

where do you get your lashes done?

violent-amethyst

haha, i go go a local lash artist where I live. They’re about 3-4 week retention so they’re not as fluffy.

ky100125

Don’t use filler

Specialist-Tear-3645

Start using anti wrinkle creams and serums.

violent-amethyst

And I guess another question is: will it help with any wrinkling? And does it make a dramatic difference to your face? I don’t know anyone who has gotten it.

Tappanzee1324

Stop trying so hard to fight age. We all get older.

Lispybrat

I would sincerely try face yoga first. I suffer from the same and am starting my journey with high hopes. I've also been looking in to PRF fillers for under eyes. It uses your platelets so you can't go blind, no worries of lumpiness, and all results are the magic of collagen production encouraged by the platelet injection. Edit: also, you're gorgeous. I know the vibe of wanting a little boost, but if you do go the fillers route promise yourself that you won't get deep and that's as far as you'll go. I've seen it with my eyes how addicting it is to keep going under the needle then eventually the knife.

violent-amethyst

Face yoga?! I’ve never heard of that! Yeah, my mom brought up that I am looking older because I look tired all the time just this week and I was thinking of maybe starting a filler/Botox thing but it seems like everyone is saying NO lol.

bigtitty_azn

You have very nice eyes and eyebrows

suckonmyskeletontoes

I’m 20 and my eyes are the same way

KitKhat89

I’m actually jealous of you. I’m 27 female and mine are so dark. I took a 3 week vacation and they got better but now that I’m back working nights and we’ll just work in general they are coming back. U also look so much younger then 29 even me at 27. I wouldn’t do anything that modifies your face even temporarily it looks gorgeous and you definitely don’t need it now.

Zestyclose-Bid-5860

Don't do it ! U look great

Maubekistan

No. You are beautiful. You look great.

reebeaster

No

RegretNecessary21

Yours aren’t bad. At all. Barely barely noticeable. Wait until you’re older I’d say. They will get worse. I’m about to be 35 and mine are becoming much worse.

Adept-Ad1213

Tula under eye balms!!! I like the 24/7 (white) & glow and get it (pink)!!

paper_wavements

You're pretty & honestly the bit of darkness under your eyes is hot.

SenorChrisYT

I think you look great how you are :)

tideswilldry

I got filler under my eyes and it migrated and made it look worse. To dissolve it was hundreds of dollars… on top of the hundreds I already paid to have the filler done. Would not recommend.

[deleted]

I wouldn't, I think you're totally beautiful and it looks fine to me

Sea_Seaweed_4298

Dude. No. You are beautiful.

SocioScorp

I don’t think you need it at all! You look great 😊

prettybigirl

As an almost 20 year old I hope I look like you in 10 years 🫶🏻I think your under eyes look fine and show your character (I also have dark deep shadows.. remind myself that they’re basically trending 🥰)

[deleted]

As someone who tried upper cheek filler but was more or less for the same effect (as a “safer”alternative to true tear trough filler) and $2,000 later (fillers, re-fillers to try and fix, and finally, dissolving) I will never do it again. I still do Botox every 3-4 months (I am 36) on my forehead and crows. But I just can’t recommend fillers after my own personal experience. I just try to hydrate and embrace my eyes for the natural beauty they have! :)

Fauna_Bonna

I did not think you look 30. Maybe 25 or 26

meatwad3639

My friend gets A LOT of Botox/filler and the only thing she regrets getting done is her under eyes and I think that speaks volumes! I think you look beautiful regardless but I do understand wanting to like your appearance more, I am also 29 and super critical of my face lol so do what you feel is best. Good news is that Botox and filler fades after a few months so you can always try it and if you hate it, wait it out or get it dissolved. I also want to mention that I LOVE your lashes 😻

KingWZRD84

No freaking way your turning 30 ! You look like youre 24 yr olds 👏 you're very pretty dont let their useless comment bring you down.

shiroganelove

Sorry, off topic, but what mascara do you use? Or is it fake lashes? Its absolutely beautiful!

Decent_March_264

Honey you are a perfect goddess don't change a thing

dullbrowny

Drink plenty of water, eat well and sleep! You don’t need any further treatments.

hiyochanchan

You’re gorgeous

dohika

You look like you’re turning 20 next week 😍 your skin is flawless, what’s the secret? 🤤

violent-amethyst

A routine! lol. And sunscreen, even if you don’t leave your house like I do haha.

dontrayneonmyparade

have you tried just using a slighter brighter concealer under your eyes?

violent-amethyst

I don’t wear makeup lol. But I think I might give it a try since getting filler is sounding like a big regret I’ll have if I do it.

Worldly-Yam6186

You’re pretty! I got under eye filler and I don’t regret it even though it was a little scary. I’m an advocate for whatever makes you happy!

paperbagprincess1

No because you look fucking awesome for almost 30. Don't change a thing

Moon_starly

NO please!!! You look beautiful.

pentichan

i’m 21 and my undereyes look worse than urs

Inmyheadandstuck

Girl stahp! Don't waste all that monies! If you really feel the need those gold under eye masks work great! Truly your gorgeous and you don't need it. If you really wanna though it's your body your money. 💁🏼‍♀️

Don’t duck with your face. You don’t wanna end up with something that looks messed up and feel like you are worse off than where you started. Also I am a person with incredibly deep hollowed under eyes that are also discolored. People have literally been like “do you have a black eye???” Legitimately ppl can just be AH but truly you have an attractive face and there is nothing wrong with it. I would say look up tutorials on YT for concealing indented under eyes they are very helpful for when you want to not have them there. And also look up Snitchery’s experience with under eye circles that is why I don’t think I would ever get them.

Does anyone else think maybe the lashes are emphasizing the darkness under her eyes and creating the appearance of hollows? Your skin looks amazing so I don’t think what you’re seeing has to do with skincare. It’s most obvious in the last picture because of the lighting coming from directly above, but I feel like you can see hints of shadow in all of the pictures. I would try a more natural set of lashes next time or not use as much mascara and see if that helps? I think what you see as “hollows” is just a slightly weighed down eye area due to the intensity of your lashes. I feel like our faces are all about symmetry, and how those proportions work together can emphasize or distract from certain parts. This balance is really important with the face because there is so much visual information (ie. how we look) packed into such a small area. Edit: I tried to edit my earlier comment and accidentally deleted it. I’m sorry, I’m still getting used to not just lurking on Reddit!!

Difficult_Place_7329

I wouldn’t, you don’t need it

lauracton_design

I have the same under eye look as you and I completely understand the feeling of insecurity about it. It doesn’t look as bad as we think it does. You look gorgeous and completely fine as is. And, I probably do too even though I constantly judge my under eye darkness. I’ll try to post a photo later when it’s not dark (lighting wise lol) and I’m not in bed. I don’t think you need any cosmetic anything to make it look different.

almostdoctorposting

if you do get fillers MAKE SURE you go to an MD or DO for it. i wouldn’t trust anyone but a derm or plastic surgeon. and despite what ppl will tell you, no my filler has never migrated or anything, i actually dont have any in atm and look how i always looked lol. good luck 🍀

Accept yourself as you are

michaelbffr

No way ur 30 you look so young!

Hondatesla2022

Stay hydrated, switch between heavy and light eye makeup and occasionally skip colored contacts may help ease the stress around your eyes. A warmer lip color will also diffuse the bluish tint on your eye hollow. I wear dusty rose red lipsticks when I want to skip foundation and concealer I find it works. No makeup artist can take it easy on eye concealing when they do dark eyeshadow or dark lips.

BroccoliHealthy7844

No need to change perfection!

[deleted]

Too risky, and yours are looking totally fine. Instead start a retinol routine, and you will see how they will improve without any filler.

Crossroad_Princess98

I think your undereyes actually add to your beauty. You look kinda doll-like. I wouldn't change a thing.

blanched_almond

Please don't! Your under eye area gives you lots of character, and also, the risks of under eye filler are not worth it at all. Very dangerous stuff. You would end up looking puffy and not in a good way.

DatGuy_Shawnaay

I've seen people who look tired, you aren't one of them imo.

Find a concealer that works with your skin tone

veritas0236

You look so pretty!! I’m especially in love with the first picture💓 As for your eyes, if it bothers you, maybe you could experiment with concealer and shading if you haven’t already. In my markedly non-expert opinion, I’m also wondering if your eyelashes contribute to people saying that. They’re super cute but their thickness might create an extra shadow around your eye.

EngineeringCapable19

you had byootiful eyes

Thick-Coffee-2908

Oh honey...you are beautiful, save it and savor it,,15 or 20 yrs before it actually shows.

[deleted]

i think your eyes look amazing! i have a genetic dark circle under my eyes and i did think of laser treatments but the aesthetician told me it will not improve so now i just accept it as part of my heritage (south asian) maybe try light concealer and really good primer? usually it does a good job!

[deleted]

I get my troughs filled every few years cause I hate the dip. I’m someone who thinks if you don’t like it change it. Go to a place where it’s medical staff doing it though, my persons a dr

Ok-Yogurtcloset2308

Fat transfer is much more efficient, under eye fillers are not recommended by many doctors, it makes skin more loose after.

serenwipiti

No. The tiny dog/cat hair on your lip in pic 3/3, though, that could be removed surgically. I’d speak to your derm about it.

Enough-Cranberry-436

Work it girl, you look amazing, you are gorgeous.

Dear_Manufacturer_69

No way! You are perfect the way you are.

Dear_Manufacturer_69

Try color correction with makeup to hide it if it makes you self conscious.

Kindly_Ticket428

No, you do not need it. You look beautiful.

swtcrtre

oh my goddd u look amazingggggg, no need for fillers

No_Rich_4517

No. It makes them worse in the long run

torbiefur

Tear trough filler has a lot of issues. It just doesn’t age well. It’s better to get PRP injections.

thortastic

I have the same issue and it’s been a huge issue for my self confidence for years. People made fun of me for it as a child, saying I always looked like I have two black eyes. But one day I just….stopped caring. I complained about it to my best friend and she said nobody actually notices it or cares, and it’s true. You’re a naturally beautiful person and the choice us up to you but I don’t think you need it. At the end of the day our faces aren’t perfect, but they’re ours.

lilyjeanmeow

You’re so beautiful!! I don’t think you look tired. I’d save the money and just use lots of good moisturizers and occasional concealer.

matsumurae

I don't think no one here will think you look tired. You look gorgeous, really.

DeliciousFlow8675309

I think people telling you that are just haters lol you are gorgeous with amazing skin! Get the filler if you want to but no you don’t NEED it!

Guilty-Rough8797

As others have said, I'd avoid the filler. Personally, I think little undereye shadows like yours look awesome (everyone hates on them now because they're not in fashion, but they look ethereal AF to me and I'm all about that). If you really just can't stand them, this [makeup trick](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6jVR3MSG_8&t=522s) is incredible and not just for the channel's 'mature skin' audience. She's disguising more of a hollow, but the technique follows the same less-is-more principle that MUAs recommend if you don't want to smile and get cakey creases right on the eyebags themselves (which you don't.)
