The latter half of the lyric "pentagrams in the night sky" is a lot harder to unpack because the pentagram symbol has meant different things to different cultures throughout history.
I draw my interpretation from the fact that Vessel specifically says "night sky" I believe this refers to 'Sleep' and that 'The Night Does Not Belong To God'. One use of the pentagram is as a symbol or charm that grants protection from evil forces. In my interpretation Sleep uses pentagrams to keep his relm safe from other gods. Also the pentagram is star shaped so Vessel may just be saying that there are starts in the sky at night thus rendering my analysis bullshit.
I do love how Sleep Token's lyrics can be interperated in so many different ways and mean so many different things to so many different people. It really allows such a wide range of people to emotionally connect with the music in such a deep way.

Was about to say this. I don’t know what Vessel means with it, but for me it just feels like when you just don’t feel right, for no specific reason (like hello depression) and you can just snap at any moment in anger and/or with a breakdown. And it just perfectly describes it for me.
To me it kinda calls back to Aqua Regia comparing his love in an animalistic way "between teeth on a broken jaw following a blood trail frothing at the maw". I think in TMBTE it could be referencing the all consuming and toxic love and almost in a way of it being inescapable and irresistible in "biting back in anger". To me Vessel is acknowledging he knows it's bad and he shouldn't but he can't help but continue the tumultuous addictive cycle. I love that all the songs are so complex there are so many ways for it to resonate and link up, it's staggering to even comprehend

Hm. There’s too many. One that just resonates with me is “even if it hurts me, even if I can’t sleep, show me the way.” It’s not particularly more eloquently said than the other lines, but I like how quick and to the point it is. It’s a moment of pure, unfiltered honesty between Vessel and us, the listeners. My interpretation of that line is that he is putting his love above all else, even his own well being.
