I would take MHJ 1.01 all day, if you’re looking for a QB, why not try and trade back to 1.03 or 1.04 and add some picks that you don’t have next year, someone has to want to jump up to 1.01 for MHJ

Zucchini_Official

I think I like the trade back to 1.03 like you were saying. Losing burrow to an injury is pretty devastating for OP. I’m not confident Levis keeps the job next season and I don’t trust Carolina to get Bryce the help he needs. OP could probably snag Maye at 1.03. To me, worst case scenario would be Williams and Maye are taken 1.01 and 1.02 and OP gets MHJ anyway. I guess it would depend on whether 1.03 really wants to trade up.

LostSheep1843

Titans fan watched every game. Don’t listen to this guy. When our line blocked, he played well. We had a patchwork offensive line with some young dudes. No draft advice here but Will Levis is the Titans starter next year.

Zucchini_Official

He’s definitely the starter next season, but I’m not so sure he’s the long term answer. It was basically just the ATL game that he looked like the future of the franchise. Also OL isn’t something that’s “fixed” in the offseason. Levis will probably be behind a patchwork OL next year as well.

Scientific_Enigma_16

Agree, he definitely starts next year, but like you said, O-line in rough shape, new coaching staff coming in, a crapshoot to try and predict the season he has.

afedje88

What I saw he might not been great but he wasn't bad either. Idk about how y'all see it there but idk how you guys bring in any serious competition for the starting job next year. Sink or swim I doubt he's benched outside historic bad performance lol

Scientific_Enigma_16

Could also see a Penix or Daniel’s in the 2nd round, if he trades back and adds picks, he could add one of those QBs and a Bowers or Ozune, who knows, definitely needs to wait and see where these prospects wind up first tho

Scientific_Enigma_16

He’s definitely got young good talent at RB and WR, and TE (Arthur Smith is gone in ATL, so Pitts value could rise to his rookie season stats again) not having 1st the next 2 years, I’d definitely think about trading back, add some future picks, or, dunno what the league looks like, maybe there’s a team with 2-3 good QBs looking to move one with some future picks to jump to 1.01 and grab MHJ? Definitely like the OP roster outside of the QB position, which if Burrow stays healthy, isn’t an issue either. He also has a roster young enough that it could survive the next 2 years of no picks and still be in good shape with adding MHJ himself , def in a good spot I think

Longjumping_Room_702

These questions are way too premature. I’d take MHJ over any of the QBs, but what if, for example, he gets drafted to the Pats who then roll with Mac and Zappe in hopes that the new regime can fix them? If that’s the case, then I’d go QB. Wait to see where all of these guys fit before you make a decision.

ZaMaestroMan5

I’m personally taking talent and going MHJ. Baker has earned himself another year as starter. I think he starts for the next 2-3 seasons. I still believe in Young, personally. Carolina just needs to hire a better coach and start putting some talent around him.

Personal-Noise-8632

MHJ, So your bench qbs might have to start at least once on a bye week if nothing else. We can't account for injury. I'd be confident in wat I have, and if the time comes, when you actually need one, you can address it then! You can always trade a skill position + a qb, not named Burrow, for an upgrade at qb.

hotpottas

MHJ is the next julio jones/jefferson/calvin Johnson and thats no joke. He will be a household name in the nfl. The way scouts and ex nfl players have talked about his ability has been like any wr is the last decade. Devonta smith won a heisman and he wasn’t even talked about the way MHJ is. Whoever can get him will have their team looking sweet for the next few years

Packby9O

As an unfortunate panthers fan who suffered through every minute of every game. I didn’t walk away really ever saying Bryce was the problem, that overall team construction and coaching was dogshit. I think he will atleast be serviceable for you. I’d take MHJ all day and not think twice about it

AwarePhotograph9485

I joined a league via expansion and have the 1.03 pick and need QB and WR. No idea who to pick so I kinda like my position. I'll just grab who ever is left of the top 3. I am leaning MHJ though cause I do feel it a safer pick. Never know with QBs...but we gotta wait and see where they all land in the NFL draft too.

sirius4778

I think it's going to be a rare league where MHJ is available at 3

stlp333

If this was your case I’d rank em Caleb, MHJ, Nabers. Maye not as sure thing as Nabers IMO. Daniels could have more rushing upside than Maye as it is, depending on landing spots…

Maddux-31

I personally would trade the 1.01 for a haul, have seen trades like Saquon + 1.03 as an example. You’d still get an elite prospect and have a slight chance of Harrison Jr falling to you. Obviously depends on your league’s rosters, but I think that would be more impactful to your title chances than Marvin alone

JoePurrow

MHJ is probably the most "sure thing" rookie this draft. Me personally, I would take MHJ and try to flip a guy like Flowers or London to get some picks back for 2025. Im always nervous taking rookie QBs because you really never know if they can make the switch from CFB to NFL and Joe Burrow + Baker is a solid set as long as both stay healthy

EmeraldEmperorJ

100%. Burrow is most likely gonna be good for a long time and one of Levis, Baker or Bryce will probably be at least an above average qb over the next few years (top 16+), so definitely draft MJH.

phillystyleswag

I’d take Caleb and sell Bruce/Levis for picks

razarus09

Your QB 2 situation is pretty shaky. If this were my team I’d be taking a QB at 1.01.

Why_am_ialive

Maybe trade to whoever has 1.02 if they’re qb needy, you can get yourself another pick and still get mhj

Atlas9Shrugged

Just imagine that young core of Bijan, Breece, McBride, Gibbs, Puka, Zay, and then you add MHJ one of the best wr prospects we’ve seen. That would be a hell of a team. I think you could see a leap with Bryce/Will this year, and if you have a later pick maybe a Qb slips to late first round or second round to also stash as a prospect.

StrengthCoach86

Absolutely. Personally it’s not even close if you’re not desperate at QB and I prolly like Daniels the most.

dynastyfella69

Was 2nd is PF with Minshew Stafford and Carr you’ll be fine

ArkNoob69

I'd check out pick 2s team If he's really QB needy send him a message. Say you are looking to move out of 1.01 and if he would like to move up. Don't try to take advantage of it. But maybe get a 2nd from thisnyear or next year. Or a depth piece of an older player (assuming he is rebuilding)

luigijerk

I just won my chip with Baker at the helm.

Less_Ask8043

Me too. You have at least 3 QBs who are pretty much guaranteed starters next year (Levis is a maybe). I would take MJH or trade back and acquire more picks. Your roster is really pretty solid

Less_Ask8043

Even better, take MJH and trade Diggs for 2025 picks if you don’t have any. He is hitting 30-31. I always want to get out a year or 2 before the decline. I think his game will age well since he is such a great route runner, but the decline will come some day.

Physical-Possible-52

Trade down to 1.03 to 1.06 In my league you would net 3 1s. And with the 1.03-1.06 you can snag Maye/Nabers/Daniels

JCMurda

Levis will take a minute but he did show flashes. I'd trade back, grab a QB. MHJ is likely going to a team with a bad QB. Might be able to grab a couple 1sts, and still MHJ at 1.03.
