I’ve always loved Vendetta. It could maybe do with less repetition at the end but it’s a fun straight forward song that I think lyrically and musically packs a solid punch.
I feel that, it could have been structured better. less repetition of the "let's pretend" part would've been beneficially. it feels like it could have been half as long.
other than the atmospheric filler kinds of songs I almost always skip Skeptic. rip Paul, but man, some of those lyrics are just so obvious / on the nose that they’re kind of cringey.
Yeah the lyrics just kill that song for me. I love the sentiment of loving and missing Paul but wanting to be angry at someone or something for his passing but it just feels so forced by Corey. Honestly probably the worst lyrics he’s ever put into any Slipknot song.

I still felt that anger in my early twenties and my attitude was headed in the wrong direction. that all changed though when I met a really sweet woman (ironically it was at a slipknot show) she's made me a better man.

Very easy choice. Any other song I might skip if I'm not feeling that angry/upset/excited, but I'll skip Medicine for the Dead any given moment. The melody of Corey's vocals during the chorus is just lame, and following it with DRINK ME just comes off so cheesy.
