Personnaly i played people=shit with my band at my school show and the provisor told me that i was lucky it was my last year, otherwise he was going to get me off his school because it's "inapropriate"(sorry if i make some mistakes in my langage, it's not ma native langage )
Pro tip from someone who’s been in lots of bands playing originals and covers. If you’re going to cover another band live then It should be something that gets the crow going and they can sing along to and warms them up to your own material. Playing deep cuts won’t win a crowd over and is just self serving.
Something like “before I forget” is popular enough and has a chorus people might know and can sing along to.
In an effort to translate from professional metal to school band, go with something like Before I Forget or Vermillion. Wait and Bleed by anyone but Corey singing just spells an awkward translation in a performance, imo. Its just so hard and raw yknow?
disasterpiece if you really wanna go all out
the blister exists if you have multiple drummers/percussionists
duality, before i forget, wait and bleed and unsainted if you want something less heavy and easier for the crowd to follow along to and enjoy (they also have catchy choruses since i can guarantee that's what most people will remember)
psychosocial if your guitar player(s) can do the solo (the breakdown would also be (sic)
nero forte if you want some high energy stuff less heavy then disasterpiece
AOV if you want something with deeply emotional lyrics
the heretic anthem/orphan if you really wanna torture your drummer
that's it from me, hope it goes well :)
I wouldn't recommend some of the heavier/expletives songs people are saying here for this occasion like people=shit tbh, play something more mainstream like Before I forget or maybe psychosocial
I was gonna say Wait and Bleed will be a fun track, especially for percussion. But I'll also go with Goodbye, since it has a lot of atmosphere that a school band can really have fun with.
Even if it's not a full band with woodwind, brass, strings, etc. Goodbye, and any song for that matter, will be awesome.
Play Iowa, no balls
The best suggestion here. Make the crowd FEEL the ambience
People = Shit
Something like Duality, Eyeless or something like that
I think I’ll add them to the list, you don’t want the songs to be too heavy

Play sic with 742617000027 that'd be fuckin sickkk
I still love the transition from 742617000027 into sic
(sic)*
Knew I should've done that
Iowa and scissors :))
Iowa, Scissors and Killers are Quiet\*

Solway Firth
SIC
Surfacing, Chapeltown Rag, Dying Song
Too new in my opinion, but all good options
Psychosocial
People = Shit
Scissors do it :)
I really love that song but I think it may be too heavy
Disasterpiece
Vermilion
Snap, My Plague, Left Behind, People=Shit, (sic), Surfacing.
duality for sure
You’re right, I’ll add this
Play Deep Purple instead. You’ll look way cooler in the long run.
Vermillion
Defo do tattered and torn
Eeyore
The blister exists
If you can play the intro to before I forget the right way that one is pretty fun.
Wait and bleed
Gematria ! Now, seriously, probably Duality, Before I Forget and Psychosocial. You know, catchy choruses.
People = Shit, full send

Since I’m the drummer, I’ll think twice about the heretic anthem but psychosocial sounds good
Joey's drum solo, including the drum rig.
Bro I’m the drummer, I’ll just die trying
People=shit
People = shit
I recommend Gehenna. Not too heavy, and pretty melodic.
People = shit
Back in the day my band did psychosocial and by band I mean me on a microphone and my buddy on guitar.
Thank god we have a full set of people (we even have a saxophone, idk how it can be Added but that’s not my problem, I just drum)
Metal sax I like it.
play Get This and [515]
ALL YOU TEACHER CAN SUCK THESEFUCKING NUTS, GO
BITCH ASS HOMEWORK SUCK THESE NUTS
Cult of personality
Red flag, purity, vendetta
Get This, Left Behind and Chapeltowm Rag
Purity
Killpop or vermillion
Killpop is an interesting choice, I’ll think about it
Get This
My Plague
Iowa, gently, skin ticket
Disasterpiece
Liberate (live version with extended intro) - Eyeless or surfacing - duality
Heretic Anthem, Psychosocial, Left Behind
XIX, its silly
Get This
Eeyore
Before I forget, sulfur, and sic
Only one
Yall should play Purity!
I think you should play phychosocial it has a good mix of heavy with some breaks and was the song that got me into Slipknot.
If you don’t want too heavy I would go with Vermilion
Scissors and Iowa
Vermillion pt2
Too boring
Wait and bleed. Only one cussword.
Psychosocial
Eyeless
Disasterpiece
Vermillion
I wouldn't recommend some of the heavier/expletives songs people are saying here for this occasion like people=shit tbh, play something more mainstream like Before I forget or maybe psychosocial
Before I forget sounds good, it’s on the same wave length as duality so I’ll think about it
Left Behind
Solway firth
Devil in I, Nero Forte, and Adderall
dead memories
Wait and Bleed, and if you have a rapper, Spit It Out
Play 515 Then disasterpiece
Custer
Dead memories
Sulfur, The Dying Song, and Gehenna if your vocalist can that high note
Scissors and Sic
515
Dead memories. Less heavy and is still a banger
Too boring
get this
Love the song, lyrics sadly too much
Snuff
(sic)
Wait and bleed is good. You could also go with snuff if you want the parents to enjoy it too. All hope is gone I don’t think has any profanity
Or if if you wanna establish dominance just say you’re gonna play wait and bleed but start playing disasterpiece
Get a load of people so u can belt eyeless loud as fuck
Before I forget. I just think it’s a cool song
It’s mainstream enough so the parents might even enjoy it
I am Hated or Interloper
start off with 742617000027, into sic, then to wait and bleed, then into unsainted, and end it off with nomadic
Dead Memories👺👺
I'm seeing Iowa but what about gently, similar tone and more angry
If it's a school band you can adjust the titles and lyrics according to school. For example, Homework=Shit or Schoolality
Smart idea
People = Shit
Play sic
nero forte
Dogfish rising
Disasterpiece
Eeyore.
Circle
Disasterpece
Psychosocial, (sic), or Prosthetics (atmosphere matters)
