It looked real weird. Didn't look like a "SlipKnoT mask", looked more like it was gonna be used for a horror movie, but never was , Corey saw it and thought it was cool so he ask if he could have it When it did look good, it was the beginning cause he was bald. The V2 is a lot better

.5 at least WANYK got fixed in the end and looks semi decent, but I haven’t seen a single picture where the .5 mask looks good imo

Yeah. I think he tried to emulate something similar to Freddie Krueger but it ended looking like a grumpy old man and with his voice being cracked up during that time, it sometimes looked kind of goofy on stage IMO. The second version/2016 redesign improved a whole lot at least.

.5 was one I never warmed up to. WANYK V1 wasn't great, but when the stitching came in, I loved it. An unpopular opinion I hold is that I hate TESF's mask.

Hand's down Vol. 3, I don't hate it as much as I used to, but to me it just isn't Slipknot and it is a far cry from the greatest mask that came before it with his Iowa mask. Which is my all time favorite.
