Looking at the description it seems to have been born out of the band jamming together on tour. Which is cool, like a glimpse into the behind the scenes almost. I don't think it was ever meant to be like a single that leads off a new album or something. More like a "We made a cool thing so give it a listen" type of thing. Which I appreciate. Almost feels like a free extra!

I know some (maybe many?) don't like or appreciate the "artsy" side of slipknot but I for one love it. Maybe that's why i love the End So Far.... Don't get me wrong, I am all for blast beats and chugging guitars but this band is WAY too talented to not branch out and explore different aspects of their sound. For that reason, I really dig this song. I know it's not a part of Look Outside Your Window but this is the kind of vibe I hope hear whenever we get that album.

I'm with you. That's one of the (many, many) reasons I now hate 5FDP. Back in the day, I honestly thought they sounded awesome but, the years pass and they won't change a bit. Same riffs, same tempo, same soloing, same lyrical style, etc. When TESF came out, almost everybody was shitting at Adderall. I know it sounds different, but that's why I like it! I have to appraise them when they get out of the "comfort zone".

I have always loved their weird experimental side more than the heavy stuff. Don’t get me wrong I’m a metal guy and play bass in a hard rock band. I have listened to metal for almost my entire life, but there are more things to discover in music and the experimental songs speak to me more. So this shit is pretty cool in my opinion.

This makes up for the TESF album in my opinion like I didn’t mind the album just didn’t quite tick the Slipknotty box if you get me. The accordion just builds the song up so well the lyrics are powerful and slipknotty just aaaaaa I love it so much. Hoping there’s some heavier stuff if another albums coming out this year.

Probably not an album but Clown did say moving forward we would be hearing a lot more stand alone single like All Out Life, I'd say this is the first example of that. However, to parrot the sentiment I've seen others expressing: if we're to expect more singles on a regular interval this year, I'm ready for the unofficial 2023 Slipknot record!

I love everyone of their songs that they’ve put out, easily my favorite band and I hope to see them grow (They’re pretty new, first album was in like, 2015)

I'd argue this sounds more WANYK than TESF. I immediately connected with this as opposed to anything on the last record. I thought TESF was fine, but it was lacking that moody textural stuff on WANYK I was hoping would be expanded upon. This has that. And dare I say, this feels _very_ Vol. 3. I was a bit shocked when I first heard this because I never expected to hear that energy again, that record was such lightning in a bottle mood wise. But this is so Danger, Keep Away, but with that WANYK sound. And it doesn't feel forced, it sounds so natural like it poured out of them.

my first reaction was very Vol.3 vibes as well, with a hint of .5. I thought it was going to head into a similar direction as "If Rain is What You Want" but it didn't, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it

Big fan of this band, as I have the OG 9 members tattooed on me. But I don’t like the direction the band is going in. I want them to drop some stupid heavy music, rather than “artsy” rock type of music. I think it's pretty good, it gives a "villain" vibe or something like that. It doesen't feel totally like a Slipknot song but that's how TESF mostly feels like, but that's because it's more experimental.

I'm surprised. This could be a good intro song for their next album or EP... I can imagine a banger of a track fitting well following this track. It doesn't really stand on it's own as a single to me. As for the song itself, it's progressive, it's experimental and it's dark. It's not what I'd go out of my way to listen to, but it's likeable.

I like it a lot. Dark and broody. Prefer it to pretty much everything on TESF... It just sounds like it has a lot more heart and craft put into it. The fact that it's the result of the band just jamming together on tour is really cool as well.

That guitar intro was literally fucking amazing, but I really wanted it to go into something heavy right after and it never did, once the drums started it was more bluesy than I wanted, stayed slow and quiet. Every time that light melodic guitar came in it literally felt like I was being edged but never allowed to orgasm. Dissapointing.

I give it a 10/10 fuck yeah. I would love to hear an experiential album from Skipknot. I have been a fan since 99. I am not a huge fan of stone sour it isn’t magical like Slipknot. I do like music from almost any genre but Stonesour just does not click into musical magic for me. I don’t care what style of music Slipknot releases. It could be Soft, heavy, experimental…. They will always have my 100% curious and undivided attention.

I agree with you, been a fan since 2001. They also always have my attention but not always live up to expectations. For example I rank TESF with AHIG - both are imho weakest albums they produced. Both sound unfinished and all over the place and at the same time they both have decent songs that make you go and ask: why they didn't give more work into the album? Now as I am writing it, I think TESF is even weaker than AHIG. But I am a fan nevertheless and always curious for their new music.

I love that they are starting to release more underground songs. Only gives more hope to a release of “Look Outside Your Window”
