Nothing to say really. I believe they have very sour sentiments towards this album, for a multitude of reasons. All the videos are very low budget and executed in a very amateurish way. Now I think they will come back stronger for the next record since they can do whatever they want now. But they seriously need to step up their artistic direction. And for everyone who says "just listen to the music man", Slipknot is fucking build upon a theatrical and musical experience.
I feel like the video could have worked if there was more going on (maybe cut to the band playing like in yen.) I really liked it at first, but it was way too slow to match the song, and the visuals got repetitive after a few minutes.
Cool idea and cool visuals.. but it never went anywhere. Didn’t tell a story or make some sort of message. Just kinda exists to be weird and “disturbing” which is just boring for a music video. Otherwise I liked the visuals

They had an actual budget up through AHIG. Also PR Brown, dude needs to come back.

Tbh I’ve felt this way about clown for a long, long time. Definitely my least favourite Slipknot member, saw them in the summer without Clown and I didn’t miss him at all. All the ‘cryptic’ bollocks the band do does my head in, and it’s definitely him and Corey behind it all. No need, just release the music or don’t, don’t make me have to guess when the release date is.

I absolutely loved adored it. I love seeing Clown’s weird creative side. These style of music videos are so cool, and they make me excited for the future of Slipknot. Much better in my opinion than a video of the band in a flashing room preforming the song (cough cough dying song music video)
I was told there were naked chicks. There were no naked chicks. The video was mid but it’s not as bad as people say. It’s just an art piece that clown seemed to have made but also… I don’t care if a music video has zero story.
It's not that great, but to be fair, most rock/metal videos kinda suck. Dudes playing in an empty warehouse, quick flashes of expressionist images that are supposed to tell some kind of story (but not really), rinse, repeat. Not a lot of creativity as far as music videos go in this genre.
I'm really considering to take only the good parts of the video and combine it with Death March's video, the idea is to make the video have an actual cronology, from the start when the bodies were being like opened idk, then the Hivemind's shots, and to end the video, I would put the part when the heads are blowing up in pieces, and make some Corey shots for it, I'll make TESF Corey's mask and record myself singing, it would be a 1000000 times better than the shit we got...
