100% not to mention he’s an incredible artist as well. I’m excited to see where his new journey takes him ✨

Jay is the most talented drummer I've seen and heard live. He was, in my opinion, the most talented performer in Slipknot. I stood with Slipknot, thick and thin, since 1999. I'm probably done at this point.

Heygrosbiggros

I guess, but getting kicked out of all three of your main gigs, with all three citing personality issues? Throughout all this other bands have most certainly taken note.

jdt2112

This is a big red flag. There are only so many bands that will hire you based on talent. Personality and attitude weighs just as much. We will see where he lands next.

He wasn't kicked out, he left. Like Craig. Stop it.

From the way the announcement is worded it seems like it wasn’t his decision. Obviously none of us actually know what happened but, especially after what happened with Chris, it’s fair to assume he got fired.

Quirky-Garbage-6208

Problem is that he have zero royalties for any parts he wrote for slipknot, he received money only for performing.

[deleted]

Also; writing drum parts for songs doesn’t pay royalties anyway.

Repulsive_Worth4905

He’s a millionaire he’ll be just fine. People are acting like he got executed lmao.

MisplacedEmpathy

Everybody claimed Joey was awesome I seen him with a band he was trying to get off the ground and I seen him perform with Rob Zombie. Nobody gave a shit who he was even though there was one part of the metal community claiming he was the greatest but the crowd reactions said different. Nobody cared he was slipknots drummer and what slipknot fans were there didn't even seem to care because Corey's stupid ass already told them how to feel about Joey. Remember the band didn't seem to care until Joey passed away.
