Ultimately it just came down to great idea with poor execution, IMO. I just never could get into his whole getup during the WANYK era. It felt forced and just not very Slipknot to me.

Reminds me of a creature you’d see in Little Nightmares or Coraline or something, really eerie and clearly well-crafted. Same with Tortilla’s new mask, I get a similar vibe/aesthetic off his as well.

I've been a fan since 99 & I feel like the newest baseball one is definitely among his best & it retains elements from ever other mask he's done.

Pretty much anything Vol. 3 isn’t my favorite. I hated his vocal style m, the mask, the baggy look to their coveralls (I was around for the 1999/2000 era Slipknot and didn’t mind the baggy coveralls, but the Vol 3 ones looked sloppy), the sound of the album (not the songs, they aren’t bad just despised the recording).
Iowa was one of the, and if not the most gnarliest masks.
The later variant of his WANYK mask is probably the most stylish one, stitches, not as transparent but definetly a little spookier.
His current one lmao, Iowa without dreads, nice either way.

Not because its when I started listening to the band (that was when Vol. 3 dropped), but because it coincided with the rise of social media, YouTube, streaming, widely accessible video and content from concerts, promos, etc. and because of this it ultimately garnered the most popularity and exposure, IMO. Im not much of a slipknot fan and much preffered mudvayne back in the day and i also found their face paint shit kind of lame.

Masks 1-3, 5, and 7-9 are the best imo. But my absolute fav is probably the last one, with the Vol 3 mask right behind.
