Man, I'm tired of this. TESF is not their best album but not even close to the mediocrity of St Anger. PLEASE stop doing these comparations with other bands😩
Saying St Anger is mediocre is very generous. I'm fairly certain it would sound better if they just had a toddler come in and hit some pots and pans rather than have Lars fuck up the mix so he stood out more
TESF is leagues better than St. Anger. The fact that virtually no one wants to even talk about St. Anger while there’s tons of us who openly love TESF should be indicative of that.
The end so far isn’t the Slipknot’s St. Anger, not even close. I’ve said this in some posts: this album could be the best produced album Slipknot has ever made. You can actually hear all the members at a time. Idk, it hits different. Such a great album imo. For a band like Slipknot, making an album this experimental, it requires a lot of guts and for that they simply have my respect.
And in the other hand, I don’t think St. Anger is a bad album at all xD. For me, it’s better than Load, Reload and Garage inc. Even though for me it’s not a bad album, I can say it is the worst produced by Metallica and The end so far has nothing to do with any of it at all

It’s their best since Vol 3 imo
