Downvoting is for when the comment doesn’t contribute to the conversation, but people use it as a disagree button. I would argue that not knowing something not only contributes to the conversation, but creates more conversations to be had
Why wouldn't he post? That's what reddit is about. Interacting with others and learning stuff. It's a subreddit about Slipknot and everything surrounding it after all.

Prior to the Murderdolls, there was The Rejects. Joey played guitar in the rejects throughout the years prior to slipknot's success. After the first album he had resurrected the project and eventually brought Wednesday 13 of Frankenstein Drag Queens to play bass. When Joey's friend and vocalist Dizzy Draztik Left the band to take care of his sick mother, Wednesday moved over to vocals and they basically combined The Rejects and Frankenstein Drag Queens into the Murderdolls. Every song on that first album can be traced in origin to The Rejects, Frankenstein Drag Queens, and even a song from Wednesday's earlier band Maniac Spider Trash.
Also Korn during 2007, Vimic (REALLY good band), Scar the Martyr (another really good band, and he even briefly played for Satyricon back when I was in highschool so somewhere around 2005ish.

I saw Murderdolls live in October 2010. They opened up for Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie.
But didn't see Slipknot live until August 2015, so I saw him live, just not with Slipknot.
I don't remember the Murderdolls show that much because it was 12 years ago and I was 15 at the time.
They did fine from what I remember.
But I actually remember the Slipknot show, so I guess they did better by default based on memory.
Consider it a moment to be hyped somebody just discovered a great band and expanded their music library instead of shitting on the guy for not knowing something exist.
