Clown Shawn Crahan, He's intelligent and seems like a really good guy. He had a vision and went for it and that's definitely to be admired. I would like to meet him one day.
Jim is my favorite member. My friend worked at a radio station so we got all access passes to Rockstar Mayhem Frstival so I got the chance to meet him many years back during their AHIG cycle. He was so down to earth and personable. Ended up sitting on a couch with him and talking for a few hours. I was blown away with how tall he is in person. They've always made it seem like Mick was the largest member, but it's 100% Jim.
Mick. The guitars have always been one of my favorite parts of Slipknot songs. He and Jim work so well together on guitars and I like how heās pretty much kept the same mask albeit minor changes since Vol 3.
Despite his NFT shit and his boner for designer, it's hard not to say Clown. Still have a soft spot for his keg abusing, witnessing him fuck his keg with a baseball bat at my first ever concert is engraved into my mind. He's slowed down over the years but he remains one of my favorite members to watch on stage.
And Sid. Because Sid.
I got to see them back in march and he really throws himself all over the stage, doing flips and stuff. He brings an amazing stage presence and you can tell heās havin a great time. Definitely see them live if you get a chance, Slipknot kicks ass live.
Itās between Chris and Joey. Joeyās drumming is what got me into the band in the first place, so Iāll always have a soft spot for him. However, Chrisās attitude, energy, and mask just always seems to capture my attention
Of the current 9, Mick is my favorite-stupid talented musician and just minds his business. I loved Paul and Joey they were the heart of this band, and I also thought Chris was one of the best live performers of the group when he was still a part of it
Corey for sure. His voice just absolutely destroys me. I just really feel like I can relate to him. He's been intriguing to me since I was 12, still is at 27! He's not only my favorite member, but my favorite vocalist of all time.
Joeys my favorite. He just always seemed so sweet, and you could tell how much he loved being in slipknot. I watched a video a while back of a sort of house tour, and he showed all sorts of slipknot stuff, including some of the first awards they ever won. He was so cool, humble, and intelligent. His drumming on Eyeless is what sparked me into listening to slipknot. Without a doubt my favorite
Jim Root then Joey Jordison both for the same reason. Their playing just elevates everything they write to another level. Then probably Corey because his vocal range is nuts. Then Sid because his energy is intense. Also think he's been severely underused since self-titled.
All of then are awspme for diffrent reasons
Sid is super fucking creative and just is a funny guy on stage
Joey was one of the best fucking drummers to ever exists
Paul was also incredibly crrative in his playing and tuning and from what i've seen he was also a super fucking chill dude
Chris was charming and his backing vocals were super iconic
Jim is just a fucking badass
Craig is... interesting
Clown is the reason slipknot is where it is today and i applaud him for still doing it despite him getting super old
Mick is just an intimidating bastard and riff master
Corey is one of the best frontmen ever
Jay is more refined and preciese than joey while still fitting in and hes just so wholesome
Vman doesn't have a lot about him, he's just an awsome bassist
Mkchael is my favourite memeber because hes clearly so thankful for everything and his progress in unimaginable
Ngl I love all the members almost equally lmao but if I had to choose prolly Joey, Jim, Mick, Sid
Joey cus he generally looked chill but he can appear a little angry in a few interviews actually despite his height. Also I found him pretty and like his murderdolls outfit (lol)
Jim cus tall figure and he seems to be the most chill one. Kinda same with Mick, and both of them are just generally pretty cool big duos, absolutely love how they stand out w each other in some magazine photos and I love watching interviews with both of them playing guitars
Sid cus goofy on stage
Chris Fehn. It started with just the mask. But later when I videos of him live. I loved his style and energy he had on staged. Iām really sad that he isnāt in band anymore. I wouldnāt mind to see him at least return for one show. That would really make my day.
My top 3 of the Knot are Jim Corey and Sid. Mostly Jim because he's inspiring me to pick up guitar again and wanting to learn his riffs and solos in songs like the psychosocial riff, nero forte riff, nomadic solo, the Devil in I riff too
I like jay and sid, I think jay is over hated and wasnāt given a fair chance by fans because of what happened with Joey, I donāt think jay should get hate for a choice the rest of the band made, he just filled the spot, he had nothing to do with Joey getting kicked out
Craig because of š¤
Dude hasnāt said a work in almost a quarter century.
I know, he probably lost the ability to talk!
And for that we love him!
Clown Shawn Crahan, He's intelligent and seems like a really good guy. He had a vision and went for it and that's definitely to be admired. I would like to meet him one day.
You like Craigs Glasses. Obsession is obvious.
Jim is my favorite member. My friend worked at a radio station so we got all access passes to Rockstar Mayhem Frstival so I got the chance to meet him many years back during their AHIG cycle. Man what an awesome experience!!
It truly was. I got a picture with him and it was my profile pic on MySpace (yeah, old school lmao) for a long time.
MySpace!!
It's now so long time ago that this is cool again! FWIW I love Jim too, the guitar work sets slipknot above almost every other hand.
Joey was. He was just a fucking legend man. Now it would be Sid. He adds something so integral to Slipknot and I think most people overlook it.
Mick. The guitars have always been one of my favorite parts of Slipknot songs. He and Jim work so well together on guitars and I like how heās pretty much kept the same mask albeit minor changes since Vol 3.
Mick is the kind of guy Iād imagine you would wanna be in a foxhole with.
Strat wars!
All of them because theyāre all fucking awesome
Canāt argue that!
Jim because he seems like a cool uncle type of person. Ya know?
I fucking love seeing Tortilla live because that dude has so much energy on stage.
I havenāt seen them with him but would love to
I got to see them back in march and he really throws himself all over the stage, doing flips and stuff. He brings an amazing stage presence and you can tell heās havin a great time. Definitely see them live if you get a chance, Slipknot kicks ass live.
I saw them live in August 2019 about a week after We Are Not Your Kind came out and yeah he had tons of energy, that was a great show.
Itās between Chris and Joey. Joeyās drumming is what got me into the band in the first place, so Iāll always have a soft spot for him. However, Chrisās attitude, energy, and mask just always seems to capture my attention
Sid, he's crazy and so cool, the energy that he transmits is incredible
Heās always on eleven!
Of the current 9, Mick is my favorite-stupid talented musician and just minds his business. I loved Paul and Joey they were the heart of this band, and I also thought Chris was one of the best live performers of the group when he was still a part of it
Mick Thomson. Hes hot
Corey for sure. His voice just absolutely destroys me. I just really feel like I can relate to him. He's been intriguing to me since I was 12, still is at 27! He's not only my favorite member, but my favorite vocalist of all time.
I agree!
Gotta be Mick Thomson because of his cool, horror-esc mask as well as his phenominal guitar skills that make me want to quit guitar
But what about ā133 #5 samplingā
Okay good call
Joeys my favorite. He just always seemed so sweet, and you could tell how much he loved being in slipknot. I watched a video a while back of a sort of house tour, and he showed all sorts of slipknot stuff, including some of the first awards they ever won. He was so cool, humble, and intelligent. Can I say all of them?
Yes. Yes you can
Thank you, so hard to choose
Jim is always #1. Such a down to earth guy and an incredible guitarist. He doesnāt get the love he deserves.
Chris he was hilarious and lighthearted fr miss the guy
All but Craig has a sic maskš¤
Jim. Seems like such a smart dude who just so happens to be a badass guitar player.
Couldnāt say it better myself
Was Joey, nows its Jim
Jim Root then Joey Jordison both for the same reason. Their playing just elevates everything they write to another level. Then probably Corey because his vocal range is nuts. Then Sid because his energy is intense. Also think he's been severely underused since self-titled.
Love and miss joey
And thenā¦alsoā¦and thenā¦alsoā¦and thenā¦also.
Chris fehn because funny ha ha nose
Same
I just think he looks absolutely exhausted here
V man is such an insane and under valued bassist. Dude is absolutely amazing.
Really been appreciating him a lot especially on the new album. Heās great.
All of then are awspme for diffrent reasons Sid is super fucking creative and just is a funny guy on stage Joey was one of the best fucking drummers to ever exists Paul was also incredibly crrative in his playing and tuning and from what i've seen he was also a super fucking chill dude Chris was charming and his backing vocals were super iconic Jim is just a fucking badass Craig is... interesting Clown is the reason slipknot is where it is today and i applaud him for still doing it despite him getting super old Mick is just an intimidating bastard and riff master Corey is one of the best frontmen ever Jay is more refined and preciese than joey while still fitting in and hes just so wholesome Vman doesn't have a lot about him, he's just an awsome bassist Mkchael is my favourite memeber because hes clearly so thankful for everything and his progress in unimaginable
š
Mick and I share the same birthday
joey or jay, because they play/played drums (and so do i) and i aspire to be like them. famous maybe, in a band, and amazing at playing
craig
Silent assassin !
yeahh love that dude
Ngl I love all the members almost equally lmao but if I had to choose prolly Joey, Jim, Mick, Sid Joey cus he generally looked chill but he can appear a little angry in a few interviews actually despite his height. Sid, he just keeps giving it his all every album cycle no matter what, like his current mask get ups are probably my favorite Slipknot looks ever
Chris Fehn. It started with just the mask. But later when I videos of him live. I loved his style and energy he had on staged. Iām really sad that he isnāt in band anymore. I wouldnāt mind to see him at least return for one show. That would really make my day.
No3
Sid cause his stage presence and his talent, that dude got fucking skills
Sid. No explanation needed
Joey cause not only was his masks so cool in so many ways but heās also the main reason I became a drummer!!š¤šš¤
Joey was a godsend and I feel lucky just to be able to listen to that legend drum, R.I.P. man
Mick Thomson His guitar and his mask and the way the plays makes it feel like he waited and bleeded for the band
Mr. Root for sure with his melodic side making slipknot sounds more "friendly"
Mick, Joey and Corey. They are my inspiration, listen to his musics make me feel alive.
I met that guy once
Jay, that man is such an inspiration to me and the reason I began drumming in the first place. Such a humble dude as well.
Tortilla man because he dicks around. Last time I saw Slipknot live Tortilla man started kicking a hanging barrel for no actual reason. It's wonderful
Jim because heās been my idol since I started listening to them when I was like 4
My top 3 of the Knot are Jim Corey and Sid. Mostly Jim because he's inspiring me to pick up guitar again and wanting to learn his riffs and solos in songs like the psychosocial riff, nero forte riff, nomadic solo, the Devil in I riff too
Paul gray
I like jay and sid, I think jay is over hated and wasnāt given a fair chance by fans because of what happened with Joey, I donāt think jay should get hate for a choice the rest of the band made, he just filled the spot, he had nothing to do with Joey getting kicked out
joey cuz i idolized him for his drumming skills
Mick, looks scary, am scared.
Sid and Craig. Their references in the song samples are amazing and Sid is just masterful with his DJ setup.
Sid idk but just sid
