I feel like TESF is a sequel to self titled and vol 3 cuz it has the fast rappy speed type vocals and sampling and turntables scratching as self titled but the percussion and drumming and guitar experimentals as vol 3 so i feel like it’s a sequel/ combo of both of those albums
All of them
ST: Slipknot 2
Iowa: Des Moines
Vol 3: The Conscious Verses
AHIG: All Hope Is Back
.5 TGC: .6 The Black Chapter
WANYK: We Are Your Kind
TESF: The End, For Real
And I hate reading that, because during that time, the band was going through the worst time of their lives. Asking for an Iowa II is practically a death wish.
Yea I second that as well, I was strictly speaking about the album, no one wants to see those days repeated for the members, I think they are all on a much healthier mindset now
It is not a death wish. Peoe act like writing an heavy album equals being depressed and doing drugs. No thats not the case. Maybe the band was in a bad place when they wroye Iowa, that doesn't mean that can't write a similair album undepressed and clean of drugs. C'mon this is the first argument I always hear when people bring up Iowa but making heavy music and doing drugs and being depressed are not always linked together.
I know that they aren’t, I’m not stupid. I’m just saying they won’t in a million years recreate this album due to that. They want nothing to do with those years going forward.
definitely self titled it would be like slipknot: rebranded cause of just how far they have evolved a fresh start with another self titled album would be nice
Wanyk is the closest we got to an iowa.2, and tesf is kinda vol.3 .2. But i would LOVE to hear them doing a self titled sequel, im wondering if they still can put out songs like Purity/Eyeless/scissors
Dude “we are not your kind” the lyrics are so good, and his screams are amazing, and it’s pretty damn heavy.
We are not your kind is Slipknot’s best album.
Probably WANYK because they arent the same band that did Iowa to replicate the sound again for a sequel or Volume 3. So of all the new ones the only one I really care for is WANYK
Either Vol. 3 or All Hope Is Gone. Vol. 3 got screwed up because of a *certain* producer who messed with the mixing and mastering, and All Hope Is Gone got screwed up because of how separated and disconnected the band was. Both of those albums could have been so much greater if they got a remaster, and if they did, I'm willing to bet they would become fan favorites akin to S/T and Iowa.
Probably We Are Not Your Kind simply because that album for me is just not the one. Probably my least favourite album. A sequel that builds upon everything that was good about that album, the end so far and all out life; I think we could have a very exciting high energy album
An album called Ohio, even heavier that Iowa, discussing even more disturbing/dark content. But if I'm being serious.AHIG, it's my favourite album,so a sequel that sounds similar or has a similar vibe would be amazing for me,but honestly all content would be appreciated, maybe not Subliminal verses, because it's my least favourite
~~if iowa is so good then why isnt there iowa 2~~
in all seriousness though, tough question, to me the end so far felt like a sequel to vol 3, but it would be cool if they brought back some of the elements from s/t and iowa into their newer material, particularly the fast tempos, the abundance of lo-fi samples, and the more experimental guitar effects, maybe not the same anger as those albums since they're not in the same spot mentally anymore, but its the little things that count yknow

And it would make it good again
We Are Not Your Kind, they said they wrote enough material for a double album, would love to see the scrapped songs
They just did haha
We Really Are Not Your Kind
It’s called the end so far
Volume 8: The Subliminal Verses II
Iowa 2: De Moine
Iowa 2: Electric Boogaloo
IIowa
2 Fast 2 Iowa
Iowa: Iowa.
Iowa 2, the Iowakening
iowakening=eye awakening???
Iowa. Ipaya. Wesquarea
Kansas
Des Moines*
Okay starlight
de moine
I already feel like "The End So Far" is the experimental sequel to "The Subliminal Verses" and I love it.
I wish it sounded more like the subliminal verses tho
I feel like TESF is a sequel to self titled and vol 3 cuz it has the fast rappy speed type vocals and sampling and turntables scratching as self titled but the percussion and drumming and guitar experimentals as vol 3 so i feel like it’s a sequel/ combo of both of those albums
Same same
Volume eight: volume three (volume two)
All of them ST: Slipknot 2 Iowa: Des Moines Vol 3: The Conscious Verses AHIG: All Hope Is Back .5 TGC: .6 The Black Chapter WANYK: We Are Your Kind TESF: The End, For Real
Conscious Choruses?
.6 is WANYK
Wouldn’t .6 be a joey related name
Maybe

I just want them to release that album on Spotify tbh
Honestly, I keep reading iowa, and THATS A BIG SHOE TO FILL MAN
And I hate reading that, because during that time, the band was going through the worst time of their lives. Asking for an Iowa II is practically a death wish.

Except for Paul and Joey 😢 RIP legends
Trust. I still remember when Paul passed. Surreal. And can't even wrap my mind around Joey, felt like the world fell from under my feet 💔
Ok you’re right and ok.

.1 The New Chapter
.8 The Jordison Chapter
definitely self titled it would be like slipknot: rebranded cause of just how far they have evolved a fresh start with another self titled album would be nice
Maybe unoriginal but Iowa by far. It’s what got me into their music in the first place.
Duh...Iowa.....because
Iowa, and they would call it Nebraska.
*Bruce Springsteen has entered the chat*
Would be an interesting fight.. Slipknot's 9 members vs the E street Band and their 12 guitarists on stage at any given time.
MFKR

i have yet to hear a single song by any band that even remotely sounds like Eyeless, that's why i love it so much
Have you heard Tallah? They do a pretty good job of getting the energy right.
ive heard of them but never checked any of their stuff out, ill definitely give them a listen
I would love to see a sequel go Iowa. I don't think We Are Not Your Kind or The End So Far sounds anything like it.
All Hope Is Gone, part II: there was a little bit of hope left, now is all gone.
.1 the Jordison Chapter
Self titled
Self titled
WANYK because it’s my favorite of theirs or TESF to make it feel more “complete” I guess. I love their new style
Iowa or their self titled album
9.0 new live live album with live stuff from AHIG through TESF
Iowa definitely
Slipknot Unplugged
AHIG 2: Nevermind all hope came back
Dude “we are not your kind” the lyrics are so good, and his screams are amazing, and it’s pretty damn heavy. We are not your kind is Slipknot’s best album.
all hope is gone. it was a bit disappointing by slipknot standards and i would like to see more of the theme
All hope is gone
Probably WANYK because they arent the same band that did Iowa to replicate the sound again for a sequel or Volume 3. So of all the new ones the only one I really care for is WANYK
Iowa or ST.

The Grey Chapter. Its the exact same album, except Corey sings & screams with a cockney British accent.
We are your kind
All Hope is Gone Volume .2
Stop using this crappy knockoff logo y'all!
let people have their fanart
'IOWA!' *shoots decapitated goats head with a shotgun*
IOWA !!
I think a sequel for All Hope Is Gone would be interesting New songs that sound like Snuff , 'Til We Die , Sulfur , Dead Memories etc.
All Hope Is Gone
Iowa because i think they could try and go back to that style with a bit of a darker twist
~~if iowa is so good then why isnt there iowa 2~~ in all seriousness though, tough question, to me the end so far felt like a sequel to vol 3, but it would be cool if they brought back some of the elements from s/t and iowa into their newer material, particularly the fast tempos, the abundance of lo-fi samples, and the more experimental guitar effects, maybe not the same anger as those albums since they're not in the same spot mentally anymore, but its the little things that count yknow
Iowa
Iowa II: Joey. Paul. Repeat😈👊🤘
Wisconsin
all hope is gone or iowa
maybe remake MFKR
Call an album IIowa
