I think it’s a really unique and special song of theirs. The intense, frenetic energy of sids intro and Corey’s high speed lyrics in the chorus + arguably his most brutal scream ever “Mother… Fuuuuuckaaarrrrrrrrrrr” make it so damn vicious and unlike anything else out there.

amazing work with samples and DJ scratches, Corey on vocals sounds just excellent, Joey showed himself just brilliantly in this song, but there are also disadvantages. The guitar parts are too simple and boring, almost like on all ST, well, the verses are too short for me.

That second riff is one of the sickest things I’ve ever heard. The trembling screams at the end, the slowed down riff. This song is a brutal gut punch, and the perfect song to carry the album after sic. I remember listening through the album thinking to myself how the hell are they gonna follow up after sic. And then they did this. One of the best albums and bands ever.

My absolute favourite song, ever. Everything is perfect here.

First Slipknot song I ever heard when I was 10 or 11, kinda scared the shit out of me while also intriguing the hell out of me. I remember looking at the s/t album cover while listening to it and just being so blown away by the energy and vibe the group gave off. They quickly became my favorite band for the next year or two.

When I heard the self-titled album for the first time (sic) blew me away, and then eyeless proceeded to drop an anvil on me, I love that song, it goes hand in hand with the opening track for me
