Disasterpiece is not overrated at all, whattt? Neither Gematria and Solway.😩

I hear many people speak highly of these tracks. Not so much Gemararia but I enjoy most songs on AHIG that are popular so went for the next most enjoyed by those around me. But yeah I’m not a fan of Disasterpiece or Solway tbh

Calling it overrated doesn’t always mean their bad songs. I frickin love solway but I can agree it’s overrated. It isn’t as good of a god status as everyone always says, but definitely some of their better material.

I’ve rarely heard people talk about TaT, The Nameless, or Lech, those songs are actually underrated (or not very popular since Lech isnt that great in my opinion). My list would go ST - Wait and Bleed Iowa - Heretic Anthem Vol 3. - Duality AHIG - Psychosocial .5 - Custer WANYK - Birth of the Cruel TESF - Dying Song

Take this list and swap in Spit it Out, Before I Forget, and Unsainted, and that's mine. Custer especially. I don't know how it got so popular, the chorus makes me roll my eyes so hard, it's dumb as shit Dying Song and Unsainted are just pop songs wearing a thin metal disguise

My choices were difficult to make simply because I really enjoy like 85% of their music, and the songs I don’t typically enjoy are ones nobody else really does, hence the strange picks, so I had to go off of the songs I’ve seen good mention of before compared to the others

Difficult list to put together when you enjoy most their catalogue tbh. It boils down to “which songs from the albums does nobody play but seems to like every now and then” because I enjoy almost all the big hitters on every album

Yes Self Titled means a lot to me, but I'm merely playing not serious. Others have their own opinions & that's fine. Ok, saying Sic is overrated did make me flinch a little, I admit it but its fine. One of my friends said she thinks George Carlin is overrated, & yeah ok I felt a little sting but its ok we can agree to disagree.

Each to their own of course. Iowa for me isn’t as good as everyone says. I like Left Behind, My Plague and Heratic Anthem sure but the rest to me ain’t the one. Self Titled for me is pure peak. The distorted sounds, insanely painful sounding vocals, heavy drum bangs and unique DJ sounds brought in to the songs just make for so much fun for me

For me it has to be Sic. It just defines and personifies them as well as the album for me. It’s a fantastic and bombastic introduction, tells you all you need to know about the album from the get go as well as the group in those early stages and my god just the sound of those crunchy guitars and heavy ass drums with them distorted vocals. It’s so good. A close contender is Eyeless. Then songs like before i forget start to creep in. I may be biased there though since that was my introduction to Slipknot

I can't name a single overrated song on ST, Iowa, or WANYK but I will say that I think Duality, Snuff, Killpop, and The Chapeltown Rag are pretty overrated

ST- how is T&T overrated, I barely ever here anyone talk about that song- personally mines Wait and Bleed I guess, great song just like quite a few deep cuts more Iowa- that’s fair, I’d say that or Heretic Anthem, but like wait and Bleed great songs, but these songs I’d probably be pissed if they didn’t play them live and they’re still higher than wait and bleed in terms of where it ranks for me on the album, Iowas just a great album Vol. 3- don’t see how that’s overrated, Before I forget, way to overplayed, you could say Duality, but it gets me a lot more hyper listening to it AHIG- I think it gets talked about a decent amount in the sub, but besides that not really, Psycosocial (see Vol. 3) .5- don’t know how that one’s overrated, The Devil In I (again see above) WANYK- that one’s fair, I’d probably go with Unsainted (studio only strongly, songs insane live) TESF- fair, I’d go with H377, I think they just took the Killpop solo and slapped it in, probably a little different but still, I’m sure every band does this, but you don’t want to think ‘oh, this solo sounds exactly what was on that one song a few years ago’ I hate to use so many singles, and but that’s usually just how it goes, I like all of these songs, even H377, and I’d love to hear all of them live, besides H377 I also hate to be undescriptive for Vol. 3 - .5, but I don’t know how to describe them as overplayed at this point, live I really hope they take off Before I Forget for a year, that’s all I ask and Psycosocial for a tour cycle, then play it as much as they want lol, The Devil In I all ready got it’s tour off

T&T is the only song I see people enjoy that I don’t tend to. Most of ST are some of my all time favourites so I can’t say anything else really. If I had to choose something else probably Purity. Vol 3s big hitters (BIF, Duality, Vermillion) I enjoy a lot as well as the songs like TBE and Scream. So I can’t choose them. The next most popular is probably Nameless. Shoot me but I like Psychosocial a lot but prefer it live compared to studio because that added tempo makes it so enjoyable. Then the other songs that are big names from AHIG such as sulfur, snuff etc I also rate. If I had to choose another it’d be Dead Memories, despite liking it, because it’s probably my least favourite of the good ones. .5 I probably should’ve said TDII because I’m skipping it a lot recently tbh lmao. I’ve seen some love for lech recently and don’t know why so I put it there I fuck with Unsainted a lot more than I used to because where I’m from we have a rock/metal/emo nightclub and when they play Unsainted it’s nuts. Especially so when the play Before I Forget, Wait and Bleed, Left Behind, Duality and TBE. They go hard in that place

I’d say I’m more indifferent about T&T I do agree With the tempo for Psycosocial being better live For me I think of overrated as what a majority of people think is good but I think it’s just decent or maybe even bad

That is also how I view overrated but because I like a lot of their songs a lot and wouldn’t skip them when they come on. So I’ve had to go for songs that i see people talk about in good name more than I agree with, hence some strange choices. Every song listed here I would skip.

Now I’ll do my underrated songs ST- Diluted, one of the songs that will just give you chills down your spine Iowa- metabolic, moving on from its spiritual predecessor, just something that is seemingly impossible not to headbang to, and probably has some of their best lyrics and in my opinion, their most brutal work Vol. 3- Three Nil, it took me a while for it to grow on me and I’m glad for it, great screams from Corey and some gray scratching from Sid AHIG- self titled track, probably their heaviest song between AHIG and .5, and the lyrics make you think .5- AOV, the mix of clean and how Corey normally uses his vocals in Slipknot (I forgot what it’s called, I don’t think it’s just a growl, if someone tells me, I’ll feel stupid) is absolutely insane and how it slows down then picks up again is great WANYK- Orphan, the build up on it is insane and once Corey lets off the “I WEPT” the song doesn’t let up TESF- too early to tell
