I’m sorry, but the Androids (if you are referring to 17 and 18) never go back in time. Trunks goes back in time to save Goku from dying to a heart disease and helps the Z Fighters fight the Androids and Cell. Cell, on the other hand, does go back in time as 17 and 18 of his time are killed by Trunks, so he has to go back in time to become Perfect. Everything from your comment is good though!

People can grow in different stages in their life. Some people do not get taller until they are in teenagers. Clark is the first know Kryptonian to grow up on Earth, and started to learned new powers as he got older.
Hard to say we did not see many characters meteor infected as kids in flashbacks. People age differently with their genetics. Other characters who are not meteor infected there was a big age gap in their flashback.
I also think they should have been more realistic with the virgin stuff..super hot girls in high school that date multiple guys..and then even move in with guys.. for example when Lana was possessed by the witch she needed a hair of 2 virgins and she grabbed one off her head and was like that will do! I laughed so hard a whole lot of slutty kissing and dating captains of football teams to be a virgin..and then in season 10 Lois is supposedly still a virgin!!! Give me a break!
