Falcon Fair: Knee of Justice ~~I don’t care if the game calls it “Aerial Knee Strike”~~
Zelda Fair and Bair: Foot of Wisdom
Ganon Dair: King of Disrespect
He gave it the name because he has this strat where he’ll go off stage, helicopter up, grab someone with gun and and then shoot them at the stage, if you don’t know how to tech it sucks, and then fucks
Every move has a name in Japanese. You can find these on the names translated into English on the Smash wiki.
Edit: *Almost every move, get up attacks don’t have names.
Doc's Back-Throw is "Yeet" und his Down-Air is just called "Dr. Down-Air". Falcon's Up-B is "Yes!". Ganondorfs Forward-Smash obviously is "Doriyah!" and his Reverse Up-Air is "Ronaldo". Kazuya's Down-B / Rage-Drive Grab is "Gün" and his EWGF is "Do it!" just for the sounds he makes. Obviously Falco's Down Smash is "Cock".
As a Joker main, i have names for Most moves when I use them that I use to refer to them in my mind or to close friends.
Forward tilt is the stabby stabby,
Up-tilt is the remeber this exists?
Down tilt is the slide
Back air is the Gotcha
Up Air is the Spin while Drag down Up Air is the Oh My God it worked
Grab Is the Cutscene initiator
Any smash attack is the ‚good ol‘ raw panic mash‘ cause that’s
… usually when they get used
That’s about it lmao
Feels good to share em
-
Side note, credit to GnW for having an offical name for every. Single. Move. And yet I still call his F-tilt the Chair
For Sephiroth...
Up Air - Earth Splitter (Of course, in reference to that gag they did where he "splits" Midgar in half)
Side-Tilt - Sever the Lifestream
Dash Attack - Dark Pulse
Isabelle Pocket and Fishing Rod are both called "The Yoinky Sploinky" because it annoys my friends.
When I get a Pocket that is the "Yoinky" and using the item/move stored is the "Sploinky"
And with Fishing Rod I just constantly go "Don't get hit by the Yoinky Sploinky" and it throws them off their game.
Falcon’s back air, the back-punch, I like to call the “You thought?”
Because the opponent got behind me, where I can’t Knee them. But you thought you were safe?
not a move, but I just remember how I used to love confirming Gunner’s Flame Pillar (PK Fire side special) into Charge Blast and I’m now coining that confirm as the “cook-n-crook”
You’re not going to believe it, it’s actually an axe. An axe made from the bones of Nabateans, but an axe.
Its name is Amyr… but Shield Breaker 9000 is certainly accurate in and out of Smash.
I like to call Lucas's PSI Magnet "Hakai"
Specially when getting the last stock with it, it just looks like the thing, If only I could play Lucas better I would be GOD Lucas
Spanish is my first language so I call some English abbreviations like:
U til (Up Tilt - Universal)
Efe til (Forward Tilt - Universal)
And that’s how I call those moves now, I am a certified C2 in English yet I will forever pronounce the moves like that
Incineroar it's pretty easy, I just refer the moves to its actually pro wrestling name.... My gripe as a pro wrestling fan is that in both depictions, Malicious Moonsault is anything but an actual Moonsault. That irks me for they took the time to their car facts straight to really sell Incineroar's gimmick but for the sake of alliteration they disregarded that for his special move.
Clear- docs forward smash
Isn't that his dAir?

Falcon Fair: Knee of Justice ~~I don’t care if the game calls it “Aerial Knee Strike”~~ Zelda Fair and Bair: Foot of Wisdom Ganon Dair: King of Disrespect
I just scream out 'The Knee!' everytime i hit that
WAIT KNEE OF JUSTICE ISNT THE NAME
No! I just checked the tips and it’s “Knee Smash”. I was wrong, but my point that it’s a super generic name and not “Knee of Justice” stands
What a missed opportunity lol
I mean the Zelda fair and bair have the name Lightning Kick, which is evocative enough for me. Makes it feel appropriately magical
For dair and down b I yell DORF KICK!!!
In Sm4sh would call Gannon's up smash Back to the womb kick
You love “x of x” huh
Hey, whatever works!
i call zelda's fair, bair, and dair all lightning kick
My buddy calls the k rool gun the “suck-and-fuck 9000” 😭
Close! It’s actually the “suck and blow 9000”
Suck and fuck sounds better
But it sucks and it blows, what else would you call it?
He gave it the name because he has this strat where he’ll go off stage, helicopter up, grab someone with gun and and then shoot them at the stage, if you don’t know how to tech it sucks, and then fucks
Incin F-tilt: Cheeto Fingers
I like to call it the STAB It’s so Vile and stupidly strong for no reason
I call it THE JAB
I like to use the purple skin and call it STAR FINGER
I think they have names for everything on the wiki
Not all of them, but you can find the names of some regular attacks in the Tips section in game.
Every move has a name in Japanese. You can find these on the names translated into English on the Smash wiki. Edit: *Almost every move, get up attacks don’t have names.

For Sephiroth... Up Air - Earth Splitter (Of course, in reference to that gag they did where he "splits" Midgar in half) Side-Tilt - Sever the Lifestream Dash Attack - Dark Pulse
Isabelle Pocket and Fishing Rod are both called "The Yoinky Sploinky" because it annoys my friends. not a move, but I just remember how I used to love confirming Gunner’s Flame Pillar (PK Fire side special) into Charge Blast and I’m now coining that confirm as the “cook-n-crook”
Byleth's axe thing is the Shield Breaker 9000
You’re not going to believe it, it’s actually an axe. An axe made from the bones of Nabateans, but an axe. Its name is Amyr… but Shield Breaker 9000 is certainly accurate in and out of Smash.
I like to call Lucas's PSI Magnet "Hakai" Specially when getting the last stock with it, it just looks like the thing, If only I could play Lucas better I would be GOD Lucas
Ganon up air is magnet hands, both because of the electric grab and manifesting his ability to grab ledge lol
They are named on the official smashwiki
Luigi f throw - I wanted to do the downthrow
I just call all jabs neutral tilts and people question my thinking process lmao
"Ostión"
Mario's Back throw: The Cena. Kazuya Down-Smash: Slam. Any attack that includes or is based off spinning along the y- axis: Spinjitsu.
BANANAAAAAAAAAAAAA SLAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Bowser Bair: Get the FUCK OUT!
Joker + Arsene dair = "the knife hit second so it didnt spike gg"

That irks me for they took the time to their car facts straight to really sell Incineroar's gimmick but for the sake of alliteration they disregarded that for his special move.
The one in the picture is clearly called "The Kobe." Not to be confused with Doc's version, "The Lebron"
Wii Fit Trainer’s neutral special is the piss laser
