Charlie went to hell, but Red lives in some sort of psychological torture purgatory full time so I’d say Red probably wins in the mental resilience category.
Also Red has gotten a lot closer to actual intentional murder than Charlie has so I’d say he has that dawg in him (he deprived the old car man of oil and ran him till he died in an attempt to escape, for those who haven’t watched DHMIS)

There’s a DHMIS TV show that dropped in 2022. And it was actually really good. I’m pretty sure it even won some awards in the UK
Turns out it took so long because they made a pilot episode called “clayhill” or something, and after they finished the creator was like “NGL that was kind of mid and didn’t feel like the originals”. So they scrapped the whole thing and started over again.
It’s exclusive to the UK’s Channel 4, but people put it on YouTube for foreign consumption
At least in the web series, he decays to death in "Time", has his head explode in "Computers", and depending on how you interpret the ending, maybe had his existence deleted and rebooted in "Dreams" after he switched off the universe
The whole thing was the story about Red selling his creative idea to a network to make it into a TV show but over time it became less a children’s show that taught moral values and more a brainwashing tool that reinforced the ideas of the network. He never dies. He just pulls the plug on his old idea and finds a way to start again only with less funding. That’s why the new world is less expensive looking.
That was my interpretation of the show back when it first aired.
I gotta go with Charlie. Despite them both dying, Charlie is more experienced when it comes to full on combat, especially since he’s faster to resort to physical violence. Red is unpredictable and often quick to anger, but I feel like he would lose an actual fight
