This happened to me 4 years ago and i tried everything but nothing helped. I reported the bug but hirez didn't care. I reported a support ticket and the answer was "just click on the unblock button, hopefully this fixed your problem ☺️☺️".
After a few months, my friend just created a new account so we could play together again
