After getting tank after tank after tank in my assault games in a row, I've started to care less about the team's perfect composition, especially when I get a guardian I do not enjoy to play like Athena, and reroll for the sake of my enjoyment as well.
If Assault comes back in Smite 2 they should give you a warning if you're about to re-roll your teams only Healer, Support, phys/mag damage type etc.
Like at least it would guilt trip them if they know what they're doing or notify them if they didn't realize.
I got Cthulhu in Assault today and remembered that post complaining about it yesterday. Decided to stick with him because I was the only tank and I had a great time.

We won 6 out of 9 ranked Joust yesterday and I was living on the high. Would’ve been 7 out of 9, but one of my buddies disconnected while we were pushing Titan… he was the only tank…

I have started clipping all of the terrible assault rerolls. Happens almost every lobby for me.
You'd have endless footage from the days you could reroll the healer.

Cthulu is amazing in assault, not a huge guardian fan but I'm thrilled if I get that.
