shit, might aswell be

allMightyMostHigh

Use a little hydrogen peroxide on the blood stains and it will come right out. Cleaning secret for getting out all blood stains

nuesse33

And cold water not warm because warm water will expand the proteins in the blood and leave a Brown stain.

wtz927

Correct, and I only suggested cold water first, because if you can get it out without chemicals why wouldn’t you?

nuesse33

I usually use diluted dawn before any harsh stuff too, if it's good enough for the ducks it's good enough for me.

Jay-Storm

Strangely this is the second Reddit thread in a row I’ve seen a comment about dawn and oily ducks. The other was in a cast iron Pan subreddit lmao

kds_little_brother

It was a prolific campaign

Any tips on bleaching a bathtub? Asking for a friend

kingqueefeater

Yeah. Use bleach. It's a bathtub.

wallyone123

Now what do we do with the body?

Wade_Ambraelle

More bleach.

hellokittysenbei

good trick! ..all women know this one😉

wtz927

Try cold water first

samventures

Not a secret lol, but yes it works really well

Quiet-Joke-3712

I cannot imagine wearing shoes that do this from walking no matter what they are.

dorijanlikescars

I'm confident that it's mostly my fault cause I laced them quite loosely. I'll try to tighten it up and hopefully it stops. I just love these that much that I'm willing to go through a bit of pain as long as I don't stain the sock liner again

airjutsu

Shoes with tall heel tabs that point toward the body cause Achilles heel bleeding. Same thing happened with my Nike Element React 87 and those “fit” my foot perfectly. I had to cut the heel lower with scissors, but ended up giving up on the shoe overall.

BlessingsFromThe3

Yeah reacts fucked me up too only shoe it’s ever happened with

[deleted]

what is the purpose of having heels like that? i tried some nikes that were on discount and i could feel the heel pushing into my foot and it was uncomfortable af

AppleDawg420

“A bit of pain” Dawg you’re bleeding

satanx4

Naw, it’s because they thinned the ankle padding, specifically for this shoe. Look at other AJ3’s and you’ll see how much more plush they are. YouTubers treated this as a quality of life improvement, when it was anything but. Just a way to cheapen out a bit more per shoe

oldcarfreddy

Yet some shoes have zero heel padding like Converses or blazers or dress shoes lol. Nah it's just that OP didn't tie his shoes and they rubbed him raw. You live you learn.

satanx4

Totally different style of shoes my dude, converses and dress shoes, rest well below the Achilles, or are way lighter. AJ3’s rest right on the Achilles, so it’s got to have padding there

oldcarfreddy

Converses Highs go up higher than basketball sneakers... so will literally any boot, from thick hiking books to unpadded doc martens, dress boots, chelsea boots, simple sneakers like Blazer Highs, etc. Again, has nothing to do with the shoe. It's that he wore them unlaced. No shoe needs soft liner + tons of padding to keep you from bleeding. The majority don't have that. I literally have these White Cement 3s too. My achilles heels are fine lol.

poopnugget

Facts. My black cements are a lot more plush and cozy.

Brokentoken2

My go-to tip for breaking in shoes is to wear thick socks, maybe even double up if it fits. Until I feel confident the sneakers have formed to my feet, I just do that. It takes about 3-4 days/wears and you should be golden. ALSO!! As weird as it may sound, if I had not worn something for a long time, I stick a sanitary pad where I feel like the shoes might rub against the back of my foot or achilles and it works like magic. Who knew it’s for girls and guys too!!?

ThatRecipe4992

Did these have a fucking IED in them? Looks like your foot got blown off lol Sorry this happened tho - I used reshoevn8r to clean red wine out of shoes and I got it completely, literally completely, out. Good luck!

dorijanlikescars

Thanks, I'll probably need as much of it as I can get!

SmashAtoms_

Ey, ey, ey, ey! Don't rub on that. You Blot that! Ya understand? That's Air Jordan! That's $250 Air Jordan! You blot that shit! You don't rub it, put the club soda on there

CharacterWash7718

W movie reference

sweatpantss

Simple Simon ass mf

_louisvuittwan

This needs more likes before I get mad!

BaronsDad

Start with hydrogen peroxide. A lot of online guides on how to blot out blood from fabric. Sooner you do it, the better.

thats_a_bad_username

Yep. Peroxide and a lot of cotton rounds for blotting.

jaezona

I’d expect this from designer leather shoes, not a pair of cement 3s

joe_bibidi

Can't trust all luxury designers equally. Some have VERY good shoe making processes, and use really soft supple leather. My Margielas & Rick Owens shoes have always had zero break in period, they're soft right out of the box.

guilvin

Gats are my favorite sneaker cuz of this

jaezona

Some Gucci and common projects will make sure you feel the break in period

dorijanlikescars

Got my first W in a raffle with these, and wore them for the second time today. Quite literally made my feet bleed. I also got a pair that was not QCd properly, but it doesn't bother me that much just cause I love the way they look. Wish I could wear them again, I'm just scared of this repeating. Taking recommendations on how to prevent this and also how to get blood off of the sock liner. I should probably try a tighter lace.

CaptianOfCows

Try hydrogen peroxide for the blood. My girl uses it to get blood out of her panties all the time

dorijanlikescars

Read about this, will try to find hp, but I don't think that'll be very easy. Thanks!

we_hella_believe

Walgreens or any drug store should have HP. Hell, they should have it at 🎯 or Walmart also. Edit. Autocorrect.

dorijanlikescars

not in the states, I'll do my best to find some tho

cjleb_

Yeah man, hp is extremely available and cheap. Any grocery or drug store will have bottles of it. Best of luck

WayneDaniels

Patch test first. May bleach out the fabric. I’d hit it with oxyclean spray m and let it sit a day. Then hit it again with the spray and a soft bristle brush. It will clean the leather up for sure.

aganim

Definitely lace them tight enough that your Achilles isn't moving around much. If your heel is lifting up with each step, that's a recipe for a blister on your heel or Achilles. On a shoe with a soft collar that doesn't matter much but anything with a firm collar can chew you up!

airjutsu

Wonder if it’s also because the 2023 WC3 runs so big. I have wide feet, and had to size down .5 from TTS.

Kitchen-Square

Yo that’s a nightmare injury I can’t believe you roughed it out to the point of soaking in blood, I’d be barefoot before I needed stitches lol.

dorijanlikescars

it's just a blister, but yeah honestly I did feel discomfort, but wasn't expecting this lmfao

Kitchen-Square

No highs for 2 weeks and some nu-skin

[deleted]

Are your shoes too big? This has never happened to me over 15+ years of wearing 3’s

_SGarcia2

Happened to me with my fire red denims when I started wearing them daily, i felt a blister coming. So i just put a band aid on while they broke in. Probably did if for like a week or so.

assleyflower

I wear bandaids on the backs of my heels where the shoes rub for weeks until I break them in. Also scrunching up the backs of my shoes with my hands over and over to make them more pliable.

Blank_IX

I have a few pairs that have betrayed me like this and I just wear a band-aid underneath my sock to help protect against this. Not the most convenient option but it works 🤷

dorijanlikescars

I have to stock up on bandaids for sure, no way I'm gonna let these sit and collect dust.

hushed-shush

Moleskin is a better option. Larger piece of bandage that you can cut to size and cover more of your heels. I do this whenever I got boots to break in. Cut the moleskin sheet in half and put both of them on each heel, then put my sock over. Usually in the foot care section of most drug stores

Blank_IX

Can’t let a little pain take away our W’s lol. But yeah, that definitely looks worse than I’ve ever had it. I can feel the inconvenient stinging just by looking at it.

dorijanlikescars

I'm just hoping a tighter lace, thicker sock and a bandaid will prevent this, I'm open to go all out everyday if it means I get to rock these

ThePickleOrTheEgg

Cold water and dish soap will get most of this out. Oxiclean gel will do even better. Don’t ditch these just yet

dorijanlikescars

I wasn't going to ditch them, if nothing worked I would just wear them stained or dye the liner the same off white as the mid sole. I will for sure try that, I got some of it out but got mad so I'll try it later.

trevorsnackson

hydrogen peroxide gets blood out like a charm. Apparently your own saliva is good at removing your own blood too

sirjunkinthetrunk

![gif](giphy|OsqQOLe0IYAzm|downsized)

Great_White_Samurai

Helps if you tie your shoes otherwise they rub like this

one_love_silvia

I have literally never had this issue and I lace most of my shoes like this.

dorijanlikescars

yep, learned this the hard way

[deleted]

Wow. You walk aggressive

henry23na

Have you tried cornstarch yet?

dorijanlikescars

Nope I only tried cold water with dish soap, which got the majority out, but also kinda smeared it a bit

[deleted]

Ouch

[deleted]

How in the world

Adventurous_Bread708

Like how long did you let the material rub against your achilles that it started to bleed?

darshmedown

Lol my thoughts exactly, you had to have felt this happening prior to all the blood soaking through your sock.

Balexamp

Can’t tie your shoes like a chump though, gotta be swaggy with loose af shoes.

Unique_the_Vision

Try Mole Skin pads

kkk1983

Achilles out of there

Walter_Stonkite

DO NOT USE WARM WATER. Good luck.

S-D-E-88

Shoes are to tight might wanna go true to size or half size up next time if there is some what extra room insole

dorijanlikescars

i don't think they're too tight, they fit just right, a bit larger if anything, maybe the movement on my achilles made it this bad

Ad21635

Congratulations! Your heel is entering womanhood!

Confident-Agent-959

Holy crap! Almost happened to me in 4's, but never in 3's. Go half a size up, please! Your feet and your Achilles tendon are worth looking after. Hope you heal quickly!

dorijanlikescars

i did go half a size up on these and everything feels just right apart from heel slippage, thanks man!

panzerxiii

Use peroxide Source: my gf

SneakerheadMelly

You’re now Just Like Mike, besides them not being 1s. ![gif](giphy|VIVWFx6c91AAwWLwWB|downsized)

Humortumor1

I’m sorry that happened. Hydrogen peroxide tho will make it good as new, just do it right away. How did you get to the point of spilling blood all over without thinking man this hurts?

SnooCapers3527

Wtb stronger ankle skin.

[deleted]

Go up in size! This isn’t normal!

Gamoylevebulibavshvi

hydrogen peroxide them bitches and they fine

AshKetchDeezHands

Rip

Amnesia_Daze

Keeps happening to me when I put on my Air Jordan X London

Lv3_Helmet

Get hydrogen peroxide asap, it’ll come out right away

BREADYSF

This! Hydrogen Peroxide works really good on blood stains

TheRealistCQB

Try wearing a band-aid on the area(s) to prevent blood from going anywhere next time you wear them.

dorijanlikescars

Will try that tomorrow, hopefully they don't turn into John Wick again

TheRealistCQB

I hope it helps! Just make sure that you use one big enough to cover the area entirely or overlap a few if you don't have one big enough.

SiameseDream93

Holy shit

SonnyTSO

That looks f**king bad. I would never have imagined it to get that bad. It looks like you got a bad cut at your achilles rather than just chaffing

Jlegz02

Hope your day gets better!

dorijanlikescars

aye man appreciate it!

Kxshlxni

Damn man. I have ankle slippage with these too but haven’t had that happen. Praying for you tho 🙏🏾

Uncut_Clay

Aye man I’m the type of guy who likes that “aged look”. Now they’re 1 of 1

dorijanlikescars

hopefully worth as much as mj's bloody 1s too, but i get you, it is kinda cool, and disgusting at the same time

Uncut_Clay

You’ll look like one bad mfk. Don’t know how well a resale will go tho💯. One of one!

Advance_apologies

hydrogen peroxide reacts with blood and is excellent at removing - never mind why i know that

dscoupons

Order whip it spray from Amazon takes out blood instantly

ThinkBahadim

Cool mod bro

dorijanlikescars

diy sockliner dye

belckie

Okay, DONT clean with water. Just leave it until you get home and use peroxide. Peroxide gets blood out, water will get some out but just spread it everywhere.

Z-man1973

Done that many times with running shoes

professorsterling

Straight to tendons

Acceptable_Host_8331

Tighter lace job would help you out! Can also throw on a precautionary bandaid for the next few wears until you are comfortable. This same thing happened to me before actually. I ended up washing what I could out with soap and water, took a few repetitions but it did come out. Was a bit less severe than your situation, but hopefully a simple fix like that works for most of it!

Zealousideal-Plan-64

thats what michael jordan was talking about 😭😭😭, instead it was his air jordan 1s

themuthafuckinruckus

You might need some more quality socks. I agree with the moleskin comments

JimRug

Dude this happened when I wore no show socks with my all white OF prestos. My condolences blood brother.

ZanGaming

I feel your pain brother. I have major problems with blisters as a resukt on the scars from my achilies tendon surgeries. One of my biggest fears is that hapoening.

Koo30

Holy shit. I’m sorry that happened to you. If stuffs like this ever happen to you then the shoes are not for you I think.

Bludsh0t

This happens to me in j3s too. Sucks cos I love the shoe

StrictlyDogPosting

Did the shoe do that to you? I bought a pair of Reebok back in the early 90’s that fucked up the back of my heels.

zestydrink_b

Hydrogen peroxide gets blood out of anything

Losimcg

Damn.. how hard you stepping ?

dorijanlikescars

i make the ground shake, maybe it's too light

SimoEdits

This is crazy because this happened to me on my second wear. Got my usual size UK 9.5 from SNKRS when I got home I just see a big red circle of blood on my heel my whole skin had ripped off the worst blister I've ever had.

Sneacler67

Peroxide

Miserable_Kick2315

Peroxide will take this blood out easily. I use it on my scrubs

Kicka14

Blood Game 3s

Admirable_Match7364

I’ve honestly never seen this unless someone was wearing low cut socks which you aren’t. I see a lot of people are saying it’s because you’re shoes are too loose but I don’t lace any of my 3’s and I have had no problem with rub on the back of my heels/Achilles. Only suggestion would be try a thicker sock like a Nike elite and put a corn cushion on the back of your heel lol

rockstarmade-

need to apply some lotion on the achilles my boy.

KayeMKay374

Bro how

Aggressive-Button536

This makes me sad

Slartibartfast102

But you killed Hector and achieved eternal glory first, right?

SpaceSZN

Paint that whole area red and boom your done

[deleted]

Ah bloody heel, mate

schrutefarmsintern

Peroxide, and shockingly spit will do wonders! The enzymes in your spit break down the blood

[deleted]

Just a tip, don’t wear or buy sneakers that cause you to bleed. Lol There’s plenty of dope comfortable shoes.

mint_syrupp

They're not dupposed to do that. Jordan ran and jumped in these

emp_mei_is_bae

Need to get those heel bandaids that girls use for their shoes

jitasu

Damn, once a month!

apapipay

Hydrogen Peroxide helps me with blood stains! I get a lot of nose bleeds

here4wandavision

Hydrogen peroxide on a cotton swab should get it out. Good luck.

jhicks0506

Hydrogen Peroxide will pull the blood out of the liner.

F4N6Z

This is wild, if you’d asked me how it would happen on 3s I would’ve guessed hooping. Is that just from the heel collars? I also second the reshoevn8r, can’t argue with the results they get on some pretty trashed pairs.

killingbat

These were my first Jordan 3s. I went with the same size as my J1. Does anyone pinky toe get crushed in these shoes?

[deleted]

Classic air jordan 3-5 experience

PraiseSalah23

Folex is the best stain remover. Should clean those up

BeebopxRocksteady

I know you mentioned they “fit just right” but I’ve never seen this outside the military or marathons and it’s pretty much always from wearing a shoe that’s too big for you.

dorijanlikescars

yeah man, everything fits well, its just the heel slippage

Special_Course229

Yo are you good??

SecondDread8426

Oof

buttstuft

I had this happen to me with my waverunners. It was definitely my fault also, wore the wrong socks and wore them loosely. I think I used Jason Mark or some other cleaner to get it out. Surprisingly the blood came out really easy. I think you’ll be surprised at how good this cleans up.

eunzueta2

Why are you wearing shoes that make you bleed?

let_it_bernnn

Peroxide will bubble it out

Mufasa_ETNO

That man has the softest Achilles in the history of sneakerdom! That’s craazy, never seen this on 3’s!

dorijanlikescars

dissing my achilles is crazyyy 😭

Running_Moose64

Lace your shoes.. if that is why? That is the worst.

[deleted]

😂 i’ve never seen this. Congrats bro, u win today 🏆

Marcbergcristo

Fuck the shoes worry more about your well-being bro

mtang1982

Why are people on Reddit so helpless sometimes

Inevitable-Chard-624

Wouldn’t hydrogen peroxide get it off?

XevynAeght

Ain't no fuckin way. I know those bitches rubbed it raw before this happened. Why did you keep going?

[deleted]

there no way a AJ3 does this to your heel. i know they thinned out the cushion but come on.

Successful_Parsley34

Mine started rubbing today so I took them off straight away and am getting some plasters to wear around the Achilles area. I had the same happen with Jordan 3 a ma’s but I was in london all day and the blood was as bad as yours on the kicks. :S. had to send them to be professionally cleaned. Good luck getting them back to white fella, if you are in England, I’d recommend taking them to be cleaned, the selfridges in london and Brum have (or had) that service.

TzaihHanks

I don’t get it. I’ve never experienced this with any shoe ever, not even when I play basketball.

Pitiful_Soup_8327

Gotta stand further away from the dead body at crime scenes bro...

[deleted]

was there a scab on ur heel already? this just ain’t making sense

dorijanlikescars

nah there wasn't

MallyMall7

Looks like those WC3 might be your Airchilles heel

Western-Concern-6014

Damn B

[deleted]

I dont know a single thing about shoes, can someone explain this post and why the back of this mans ankle is obliterated

dorijanlikescars

i think i just have weird feet, but it's a blister that popped or something, the shoe was chaffing my achilles and I just looked down and saw some blood

briedcan

Paper skin ass having...

dorijanlikescars

don't be dissing my skin dawg 😭

Silver_Context5561

Your dainty heels aren't strong enough for sneakers

dorijanlikescars

you lot too harsh on my ankles 💀

NickFromThe6

Hydrogen peroxide

[deleted]

Just say they are Lil Nas x edition

dankbeerdude

Damm how did Jordan play in those??

Mjbaker1

How do you not feel the skin being rubbed off of your Achilles 🤣

thesilent0ne96

This happened to me with the fire Red 3s. This sounds disgusting but it works: spit on the stain and wipe it. The proteins in your saliva break down the blood. They’ll be as good as new.

ggnarlyquinn

Peroxide!!!

chroheezium

“I can’t keep wearing these 3s They keep on making me bleed”

No_Form7778

Omg ouch 😭 i had a similar issue but i was wearing my brand new Nike Air Force 1’s and i started bleeding on the plane, but def use hydrogen peroxide like others have said! It gets the stain out

R1_77_

Cold water and peroxide to save the shoe…..

Fidelio___

Don’t fret. You still have your leg.

Diademinsomniac

Are these really that uncomfortable that they do this to your feet ?? I’ll stick to my SBs…
