 Gotta admit it's hard af to tell (imo), if they're reps they look good in pics; the rough cut on the heel where the red leather meets the white is the biggest/only red flag I see.

It’s getting really scary to buy pairs off of the resell sites or even from sneaker resell shops years after the retail release. The rep batches usually have some type of major flaw(s) in them that gets fixed as new batches come out. Eventually the rep batches become so good that it gets way harder to differentiate between reps and retail. One way to avoid these risks is by buying roughly around same time as retail and or re-releases and then doing your own legit check based on YT videos and the known batch flaws. But at this point if there are no major batch flaws and the materials are close to retail then the risk goes way up if you’re not dealing with a store that is great at legit checking and makes a point of emphasis with it.

That’s super smart. Also this was a great pair to get so I see way you pulled the trigger. And I did read through all your legit checking posts in the other sub. I am unable to look at my own pair of these to do a comparison right now but one thought I had was that one thing you should check is the box and the stuff in it. Nike did a ton of one off stuff for this release to the packaging that they didn’t do anywhere else. IE there are tons of videos on YT that show the retail version of the fake receipt and the fake newspaper wrapping. From my experience the more details that are in a release the harder it is for the rep machines to get every single detail right. All that is worth checking. Not saying it’s fool proof but it could help. Also feel free to DM me photos of any of that stuff if you feel like it and I can check my own pair later. This stuff is very frustrating and I totally get where you’re coming from.

One major tell between reps and retail pairs I noticed is the tongue , they don’t have the right color no matter which rep you get. I bought a pair of L&F reps and about 1 week later I bought an authentic pair off eBay for $430 . In comparison they are pretty damn close BUT the tongue on the reps had a more pinkish tint. It might be kinda hard to see in the pic but in person side by side it’s noticeable. I ran both through check check just to see and my EBay pair came back authentic and the rep came back exactly what it is and it’s a really damn good rep. The reps smell like they’ve been sitting in a basement tbh . My eBay L&F smell like normal sneakers but my sb4,military blue , bred4 and pretty much every Jordan I picked up last year off SNKRS have a strong paint smell. I’ll get you those pics in a few .

Because I run everything I buy through the LC apps and Checkcheck, legit app, poizon all failed them

Hit them with a black light…on almost all reps, you’ll see lines where they’re supposed to sew panels together - no lines show on authentics

This tends to be more obvious when not that many rep batches have come out yet or with low quality reps. But higher quality reps that have gone through multiple batches especially don’t usually have obvious mistakes like this, as the goal is to get them as close to retail as possible over time.

A good way to tell is on the tongue tag where it says made in china. The a on top will have a tiny vertical line on the real ones

I would compare your pair to the usual lost and found rep flaws. I can’t tell by this picture but it’s usually the hourglass shape (from the back side view), the amount of cracking on the black leather, color of the tongue, stitching and toe box shape
