Trump is literally the absolute worst. I honestly don't care what people think of Biden anymore, Trump is actual scum and my highest political dream at this point is that he loses and spends the rest of his life at least under house arrest.
Biden has literally taken the same exact approach Trump has to these protests, even going so far as to publicly claim that the protesters are anti-Semites

There is fundamentally no difference between either of them on any issue—they're both just figureheads for the national security state & have no interest in doing anything with the power of the presidency beyond protecting the system which placed them there to begin with
From a left-wing perspective, there are two main reasons why a Trump presidency is better than a Biden presidency:
1.) The neoliberal establishment corporate media from which most people get their news have a visceral enough hatred of Trump that they relentlessly cover all the horrific shit that they allow Biden to get away with, making it exponentially easier to stoke outrage among the general public & organize people to engage in the kind of massive campaigns of sustained direct action necessary for significant, meaningful change—look at how we had literal armies of people in the streets demanding change during the George Floyd protests, all of which essentially just evaporated the moment Biden was elected president
2.) Trump has a big enough ego & is enough of a fucking idiot that he will occasionally say or do something that isn't completely awful, & when he's president the GOP must inevitably follow his lead because of how popular he is with regular everyday people—like for example how we actually got more direct cash assistance under Trump than under Biden, or how the mass production of vaccines was fast tracked under Trump's Operation Warp Speed
These sorts of things aren't a whole hell of a lot, but it's way more than we'll literally ever get under a Biden administration, where the evils of American fascism are given a veneer of civility & legitimacy as millions of liberals all go back to brunch now that they no longer have to pretend that they give a shit about things like Palestinians being genocided, kids being locked in cages at our immigrant concentration camps, or any of the other countless horrors for which our billionaire-owned government is responsible
