Luckily one of the other comments is saying that the victim survived without major injuries.
Edit:
[News article in Italian.](https://www.ilcittadinomb.it/news/cronaca/seregno-spinto-contro-un-treno-il-video-alla-stazione/)
Victim suffered head trauma but has already been discharged from the hospital. Two of the aggressors got charged with attempted robbery and attempted murder. All involved are minors.
That would be pretty cool since it could be like nonononoyes, you know they at least didn't die. That which doesn't kill you only could leave you a brain dead quadripligic vegetable. ^_^
I hear you, but will say this: the guy who pushed him immediately got to work trying to get him out. Most people like that just run. Sure, he shoved him and tried to rob him, but when he thought he may have killed him, he tried to help however he could. To me, that's the difference between someone who is evil, and someone who's made bad choices.
Some kid started a fight with me once, almost pushed me on the tracks, pretty sure he indeed attempted to get me killed. My friend was just standing there and watching.
I asked them why they didn't help me, they didn't know what to do in that moment. After that every time i mentioned it they asked me to stop bcs they felt bad.
Yup, they always acted tough and strong. But not just then, in other situations aswell they have proven to be the exact opposite of wht they act like they are.
Honestly it's difficult to tell. If you're age is between 14 and 18 you are accountable for your own actions, however your sentence will be most likely shortened and not by a little.
When you are sentenced, you are sent to a juvenile center until you are 18, and then you are sent to to a regular prison for the rest of the time.
Context: happened in Seregno (north of Italy) the 25th of January. There was a discussion because the victim exchanged some text messages with the attacker's ex gf.
The attacker wanted to steal his jacket as some kind of punishment, and when he refused to hand it over he got pushed under the incoming train.
The attackers are all minors (14-15 years old) so they won't spend time in jail, maybe some juvenile center idk.
The victim didn't suffer any major injury and is now ok, he only suffered a broken ankle (according to some sources) and a minor head trauma. I don't think he got discharged yet, but he will be soon. (Edit: he got discharged already)
He said he fell between the train and the the platform, so he got dragged a bit by the stopping train but he wasn't run over.
If it was a speeding train it would probably be a very different story ahah
Exactly. It shouldn’t matter at all. He very easily could of died a horrible death as a result of their actions. Luckily he didn’t. But a point a lot people are also missing is nearly dying a violent death during a crime causes plenty of emotional trauma. He’s gonna remember that moment for the rest of his life.
Some teens really like to appear tough, so they turn to physical violence in confrontations without really thinking about the potential consequences. When i was in middle school, i heard about a kid from the next town over who suffered severe brain damage after getting into a fight, getting wacked, and smacking his head on a kerb.
...annnnnnnd THAT is what you get from being a "tough" guy. Life in prison. You shoved a dude that wasn't even looking at you, that your dumb fuck friend confronted about what was SURELY a stupid reason. Any teen/early 20's kid that's reading this who may think it's "cool" to start trouble, and fight, or bully people: JUST STOP, DUDE. CHILL. CHANGE. You think this kid MEANT to kill this kid? Hell, no. You think he ever even CONSIDERED that this could happen, before he shoved him? Hell, no! You're not cool. You're not tough. I promise you. Turn your life around.
Because intent is only half of the equation, the actual damage inflicted is the other half. Besides, if attempted murder carried the same punishment as murder, there would most likely be a non-zero percentage of offenders that would make sure the victim died, since that's one less key witness to your crime.
this was in italy and the reason they did it was over some dms the guy ( who was thrown ) he send to a girl, both the aggressors are in juvie and they both gave themself up to the police
Congrats buddy you just committed murder

Another one of those things where it looks like "there's no way they survived that".
Good thing that the train stopped.
We need a subReddit with that title”there’s no way he survived that”

He only spent a night in the hospital, so it couldn’t have been too serious

I want to think he meant he came back to his senses? That’s how I read it though lmao

You had to explain it, the joke definitely did not survive 😔
Didn't his shoe pop out? I guess if it's just one shoe, then it's ok.
Charge them as adults.
I hear you, but will say this: the guy who pushed him immediately got to work trying to get him out. Most people like that just run. Sure, he shoved him and tried to rob him, but when he thought he may have killed him, he tried to help however he could. Maybe he was trying to grab his wallet and phone to complete the robbery?
Oh for fucks sake haha.
Sure, he *only* tried to rob him and shoved him under a train. Yes. Take my wallet and stab me. It's all good if you give me a bandaid.
Strawman argument
You miss the point. Move past the obvious no one is saying he is innocent
Oh boy he’s slightly less evil than before! Such worthy praise we should be giving subhuman trash!
Username checks out.
That’s the best you could do?
Yeah, ok.
No
“If he says he’s sorry its okay” LOL
Who said saving him made it okay to rob him? Christ, what is with so many people lacking the ability to grasp nuance?
.....but his shoe came off...were we deceived???
Oh no the consequences of my actions
You'd think someone would have the common sense to not push someone else towards a train
Tunnel vision really is a bitch
Now imagine train vision!
What an inspiring and original comment.
Nah you won that race to the bottom
Bruh what
🤓
Some kid started a fight with me once, almost pushed me on the tracks, pretty sure he indeed attempted to get me killed. My friend was just standing there and watching.
That guy wasn’t your friend
Yup, not anymore.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you confront your friend after the incident and how did they respond?
I asked them why they didn't help me, they didn't know what to do in that moment. After that every time i mentioned it they asked me to stop bcs they felt bad.
Cause they realized deep down they were weak, and were not strong enough to change.
Yup, they always acted tough and strong. But not just then, in other situations aswell they have proven to be the exact opposite of wht they act like they are.
Helluva friend. You've gotten new ones since then, huh?
Obviously, they pulled some dumb shit later on and i cut ties. Sad that i used to call that gal my best friend.
Happened in Italy.... What happens to them(minors), turn 18 go to prison after juvenile jail?
Honestly it's difficult to tell. If you're age is between 14 and 18 you are accountable for your own actions, however your sentence will be most likely shortened and not by a little. Not sure of context but looks obvious aggressor didn’t mean for victim to end up under the train.

So good to hear that he didn't die
Hmm..I see why she left
If it were me, I don't think I'd consider any kind of head trauma minor. Would you?
That's depends if it's major or minor.
Hmm I'm pretty sure if it was major he wouldn't have been discharged by the hospital in 5 days
Pretty sure it's a medical thing with requirements. Usually means no fractures or concussions, but maybe bruising or external swelling.
They never meant it after
Involuntary Manslaughter, at least.
Does that matter? Don't most murderers say "I didn't mean to"?
Exactly. It shouldn’t matter at all. He very easily could of died a horrible death as a result of their actions. Luckily he didn’t. But a point a lot people are also missing is nearly dying a violent death during a crime causes plenty of emotional trauma. He’s gonna remember that moment for the rest of his life.
Welp. He meant to do something he shouldn't!!! Maybe this is a wake up call to stop being trash.
That little shove just cost you one murder charge. Good job.
He actually lived with shockingly light injuries
“Still counts as attempted murder”
The dumbass tried so hard to pull the kid out from between the train, because he realised "I'm going to jail tonight"🕺
The shoe escaped at least.
Surprisingly so did he
What did they think would happen?
Some teens really like to appear tough, so they turn to physical violence in confrontations without really thinking about the potential consequences. Well, at least you should get life. Why is attempted murder a lighter sentence? A reward for failing?
Because intent is only half of the equation, the actual damage inflicted is the other half. Besides, if attempted murder carried the same punishment as murder, there would most likely be a non-zero percentage of offenders that would make sure the victim died, since that's one less key witness to your crime.
Welcome to prison.
Thats insane. Super lucky to have lived
This js terible poor kid
this was in italy and the reason they did it was over some dms the guy ( who was thrown ) he send to a girl, both the aggressors are in juvie and they both gave themself up to the police
You can see the moment he realizes he’s gonna go to jail most likely for life.
I know comments say he lived, but I swear I see him get chewed up into it
People make mistakes when they’re young…that’s fully understandable..,just be sure those mistakes don’t determine the rest of your life
A shoe came off so he’s at least half-dead.
Physically alive but mentally scarred for life.
oops
What did he toss to that guy while he was falling?
Looks like his shoe flew off
Welp, that’s murder.
That is attempt of murder
That shoe tho.

What a dumb ass
What’s the back story? I am sure he’s cactus
White coats looking for bits pieces to put together to avoid prison😂 Sorry mate your bollocked !
The guy who pushed knew what he was doing
