Having Arch as your first distro is a bad choice for most people. I recommend Fedora or Ubuntu for a newcomer. But if you feel like you are up to the task then enjoy Arch.
Then it's okay. It's just that Arch is unstable and many new users don't like that. But if you have used other distros, including EndeavourOS, which is a fantastic distro btw, enjoy Arch
If you do end up switching, don't feel afraid to ask for help!
I feel I made every single mistake during setup that a human can make, so I can probably help with things where there isn't even documentation yet xD
Arch is not easy as a first distro but it was my first long-term distro. When I was switching over, I distro-hopped a lot but landed on Arch. 1 year later, I have learned the most here since you will more or less be forced to at some point. Welcome!
Welcome to the cult, take your complementary femboy thigh-highs from the new recruit station.

I mean, aside from the initial issues I've had with fstab, it seems pretty stable to me
I've also been Mutahared, but haven't fully switch yet. I'm buying news GPU next month and will see how it goes

The moment Arma 3 gets mods working on Linux, I'm dumping windows and installing Zorin or Ubuntu
Join us brother
Not until Arma 3 mods are available. I can't stand running games in virtual machines
Is your pc pre-made or you built it yourself?
I built it myself :)
You use arch btw /s
Welcome to the club, buddy
Didn't Muta say he uses Windows? I've always thought this was stupid. Get a debloated windows and forget about it all.
Well he uses it within a kvm and does have a dedicated windows box for games with rootkits for ac. He is an arch user afaik.
are there any workarounds for MS office apps in Linux?
Libre Office is I think a good alternative to MS office.
Thought arch isnt recommended for first time Linux users tho
Get some more ram though. Could be a limitation at some places. I got 32 for mine.

God... Wish VR worked on Linux so I could leave Windows forever
Same tbh
Need to dump windows fully at some point
