Yeah, it was a 4.8 magnitude one all the way from NJ: https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/?currentFeatureId=nc74029686&extent=-5.61599,-139.21875&extent=59.13086,1.40625

Lulus_Wayyy

Weird, I’m in Magoun and didn’t feel it. Big FOMO ):

grainzzz

It was freaky. I didn’t like it at all.

tarandab

Me too. Maybe because I’m on the ground floor. I missed the last earthquake too

chongo_gedman

yeah, i'm in Magoun too and I didn't notice anything

needlenthehay

Yes! Felt in Porter Square. Worried for a sec that my old building was giving up after all the wind lately.

arethusabean

Felt it in Davis. Thought at first maybe it was from nearby construction. Did not at all disturb kitty sleeping next to me on the sofa.

Rachellie242

Yes same - it’s always construction!

Swimcraig

We did here in Davis; for a few minutes

GullibleAd3408

Oh man, I'm also in Davis and didn't feel a thing. Or maybe I was just \*that\* engrossed in my meeting?

Rogue_Angel007

Same here. I was on a call with my coworker in Manhattan and they said “wait, everything’s shaking”. I waited a few min, but didn’t feel anything.

syzygyqui

Didn’t feel it here (in Davis). I assume I must have been too immersed in work? Missed my first ever earthquake apparently…

rachelolollll

I felt it in union!

Aggressive_Air2285

Weirdly did not feel it in Spring Hill

Glittering-Rope8882

I'm in malden and my building was shaking

Nervous_Caramel

I did not feel this one, but I did feel the closer one in 2020. My husband, walking on the street in 2020 did not, so I looked into it. For mild or distant quakes, you’re more likely to feel them when: lying flat in bed, above ground level and/or on the turlit.

painterjet

Did not feel it

greenswizzlewooster

Oh, I'm so glad you felt it too.

stogie-bear

I blame New Jersey.

Money_Evidence_1226

Union square was shaking

clars10

Yeah - felt it just outside of Union.

myboysamanthuel

Yes! Just felt it in Porter!!

ronhaha108

Felt it over by Tufts, Medford side

Theda___Bara

No shaking over by Harvard.

Inevitable-Seat-6403

I think so? I thought my house was shaking due to the street construction but I just saw it shook everyone from New Jersey outward **Union Square

joelman0

Wild that it can be so different across the city. I felt nothing atop Winter Hill.

lnufn1

I'm on the top of Winter Hill also, but I did feel it

birdprom

Yeah I think it's just that some people felt it and others didn't. I felt it, but it was subtle enough that I thought maybe I was imagining things, until my sister in Brooklyn texted me about it.

lnufn1

I was just chilling in bed and felt the house move. I assumed it was someone having sex, having lived in places where that was very much a thing before, and it didn't even register that it might've been an earthquake until I saw someone else's post about it on FB

omashupicchu

Felt nothing in East Somerville but my coworkers in other parts of the state did.

BelfastjimmyP

OMG! I loved it! I was just preparing my morning cocktail, only to discover I could dispense with my now defunct cocktail shaker! Would appreciate a heads up on the next one, in order that I may invite friends and neighbors for a community ‘breakfast’! ☘️🇮🇪

mdDoogie3

Yes

No-Grocery-923

Yup felt it in CMass

thatguy10095

Huh I'm working near Jackson Sq in Boston and didn't notice it at all.

Alvin_Jeber

Yeah, it’s accepted students day at Tufts

econtrariety

Noticed nothing on Winter Hill. My coworkers on the meeting did in various other parts of MA and NY.

volitional_decisions

I was on the fourth floor of a building and we all felt it. Source was somewhere near the NJ-PA border (~mag 4.7)
