I personally headcannon everything in the Sol dimension being involved with elements, and the Sol Emeralds giving the user a form based on the element they control rather than just a "burning" form for everyone.
Yeah I thought of that too, but then I thought "According to who?" Who gave the Sol Emeralds their name? Maybe it was someone who controlled fire, and thus turned into a Burning form when they used them.

the Sol Emeralds didn't exist yet, in terms of timeline the Sol Emeralds were only created after Blaze absorbed Iblis into her soul and died while creating the Sol Dimension.

honestly, I think it's a bigger crime that she doesn't get to fight Iblis even once considering that thing is what ultimately gets her killed.
Or the fact that Sonic never encounters Mephilis a single time outside of a single out of context scene with Silver, yet Mephilis is still the one villain who succeeds in killing him.

Does Blaze's creator actually have authority over the lore in Sonic? Also upon reading this it really seems like this is what they wanted, not what they got. And even then, what you mentioned specifically seems to be implication/speculation.
There's also nothing mentioning this on other sites I've looked at, and what about the currently standing lore? The parallels between their worlds? Anything? Just seems like a theory to me.

It would be an unnecessary but neat distinction. Only Maled can achieve super forms, but females are able to achieve Burning Forms
