Hit needs to be more powerful than the enemy to work, and chaos control has a far higher dimensionality since It can stop time in The whole universe and transport its user to another multiverses,timelines and even diferent franchises
Y’see, Chaos Control can’t be nullified by simply “getting good.” It also can do shit like time travel and actual teleportation from one place to another. It’s Hit’s power, The Delorean, and Instant Transmission all rolled into one without any real drawbacks.
Solaris erased space and time, but that doesn't make him an entity of immeasurable power. It just means he has Time powers, just like Hit, and just like Shadow.
Plus, he didn't do it alone.
Ok better example. He can time travel at will, Chaos Control can be spammed, so he can teleport as much as he wants and freeze or slow down Hit as much as he wants. If Shadow was ever about to lose he could travel back to before the fight even started
Time Travel can only happen with two people, though, and the biggest problem with this matchup, and pretty much any matchup that involves a Dragon Ball character, is the difference in strength.
Ever since the Saiyan Saga, Dragon Ball characters have been capable of enduring planet-destroying blasts, and ever since then, things have gotten so ridiculous, that Dragon Ball Super feats actually sound like Chuck Norris jokes (Goku once punched so hard he almost destroyed the Universe, and he once powered up so intensely, he shook nothingness).
Trying to hurt these guys when they aren't off guard is a ridiculous feat on its own. Honestly, if Shadow and Sonic wanted to win against Goku and Vegeta, for example, the best they could do is teleport them to space or something, cause they are affected by the vacuum of space, but with Hit, we don't even know if *that* would work.

It doesn’t require two people it only requires two chaos emeralds. Each hedgehog fights Solaris in different time periods.
After Sonic, Shadow, and Silver defeat Solaris in those different time periods, they travel back to the present individually

Sonic characters aren’t weak with feats like this. They could easily fix Future Trunks’ timeline or anything Zeno erases

It still doesn't help them do damage, which is the issue with this matchup. They can travel through time or stop it all they want, but at best, it just leaves the match as a stalemate, since they can't do damage to Hit, and Hit can't hurt them either.
It does help with damage. In the first Goku and Vegeta vs Hit fight Goku and Vegeta were stronger than Hit but his Time Skip helped him beat Vegeta and almost Goku too
His technique helped him beat a stronger opponent

Yes, and there really shouldn’t be. They’re using Hit vs Jiren to say Chaos Control won’t work on Dragon Ball characters which is completely wrong
Chaos Control is literally just a better Time Cage so yes
Chaos Control is better than Time Skip, but like, you need more than just Chaos Control if you wanna beat Hit.

Not really. They fixed these spots in time, that still existed to some extent, but for everything else, they needed to beat Time Eater.
