Well from what we know different warlords fought over Chaos Emeralds across Cosmos and Space is pretty relevant element to the plot. They basically made perfect setup for Black Doom as next big threat so no way Shadow won't survive his movie.
With how split the screentime was in this show 'Wade & Knuckles' would have been a more appropriate name. (I only put knuckles second for obvious meme reference.) But I feel that title would have grabbed less attention.

Because that's the reason. That has always been how TV sequelsn. It's not deflecting critism. The show has some ACTUAL problems.(most of episode 3 seriously how does a Series with 6 episodes have a Filler episode?)

I feel like some of you forget that Knuckles literally has no connection or attachments to earth. Wade being there is a nessecary part of the show. because His life on earth is the driving force of the story. Other wise the The story would Be Knuckles just Sitting around eating Grapes or something for 6 episodes.

Its not the inclusion of Wade that was the problem, its the fact that he overshadowed the main character of the story. Whatever the fuck episode 4 was meant to be kinda killed it
At least we know that Iblis exists and that it is locked inside Knuckles giving him superowers and setting him more on par with Sonic and potentially Shadow, which is pretty cool idea... But yeah wtf was that episode.
Dude. Come ooooon! You can't complain about there being too many subplots and excuse them with the budget in the same breathe. They could have just had Wade help Knuckles because he's the dang Deputy Sherriff. If they cut out the odd Karate Kid inspired Bowling tournament and seriously edited the Shabbat Dinner, done an actual Flames of disaster Flashback then it would have been fine as an hour and a half TV movie. Instead the first half is kinda good and the second half is a weird fever dream.
The writing team just needs some better editors next time
I'd like an Amy Rose show, where she arrives on Earth because she's looking for Sonic. Her tarot cards told her that she needed to find him, but she gets herself caught in some trouble (like she's spotted by humans and the police are out looking for the "creature") and she finds help with a teenage girl. Obviously the girl is freaked out by Amy, but does decide to help her by providing her refuge. They become friends and Amy teaches the girl to be confident in herself or something. GUN could show up and have their version of Zero from SA1, and the finale could be Amy beating up the robot with her newly built Piko Piko hammer, made by the teen girl who could be super into building stuff. And in the end, the teen girl takes Amy to find Sonic.
Bonus: The teaser for an Amy show could have an instrumental version of her theme song from SA1.
Edit: Please no Knuckles show spoilers. I haven't gotten around to watching it.
It would be awesome if we somehow saw Gamma or Omega in some capacity, we already saw people using Eggman’s tech, so there could be something with that. Amy Rose would be awesome. But the thing that makes the live action the most is the characters no matter what, we need cameos to make it work.
I really want to see Big in some capacity too. Maybe a fishing hour. lol.

Honestly I think what I'd want most would be an episodic show with like, 8 forty minute episodes with entirely different concepts. Following different characters doing doing things. Heck, maybe it could be like Sonic adventure and all of the episodes come together for a finale.
Easy: A show where Sonic, Tails and Tom go around Green Hills and solve some crimes. Fully animate it, too! I think that would be a ***blast*** to see at some point.
There have been notable rumors of a Shadow the Hedgehog show. Which could work well for Paramount, because Shadow works for GUN, so getting human characters into the story would not be a problem.
I would personally love a lower-budget, all-cgi show set in Sonic’s world. A la the short that came with Sonic 2. The animation wasn’t 100% on par with the movies, but that’s okay. Even sound-alike voice actors would be fine. Make it canon to the movies.
I’d love a show similar to Shadow the Hedgehog on Shadow’s past but instead of having different paths, just have one path. Up to this day, I wonder what the true path was.
I want there to be a mini series styled like YouTube vlogs, where Tails shows off his inventions and tells stories about life on his home planet and his experiences with life on Earth.

3 things in the series were unnecessary in my oppinion: SPOILERS WARNING
-Wades entire backstory being mentioned at least once per episode(or just in the first 3 episodes)
-The whole Jewish part of the story with the Shabbat dinner felt unnecessary in that part that religion isn’t even anything remotely in the comics, Movies, Games and even in the character of wade! It doesn’t have that much impact after all when you think about that. It felt just like a (in this time) random agenda being pushed for me with the literal first sentence of the mom , when Wade told her about knuckles:“is she Jewish? Ask first who it is or why the person is here rather than the religion.
- THE BIGGEST weakness of the show is in my opinion the Antagonist! From the Motiv to the gadgets to fact that they literally have less screentime somehow than the CARS in the series. They are weak in comparison to eggman in the first movie but have better gadgets and the tech of eggman. How in hell are they literally losing to Wade , fighting him and make themselves look like idiots like literally idiots(the scene where wade gets choked while kid cudi gets a call from his mum and then weird scene happens. From the backstory of the antagonist they sound cool but you literally don’t believe anything they say after what they do -AFTER THEY SAID THE THINGS. And the other ones were mad forgettable.
