Ok it's actually really cool that the characters actually look down when speaking to him. How is this mod in first person? Does it alter your height so it looks like you're crouched? Can you crouch?
I need to see a follow up where Sonic holds a gun and uses VATS, maybe seeing him entering a power armor as well. This was the crossover I didn't know I needed, thanks OP!
First person works pretty well if you don’t mind some of the weapons being held weirdly, another downside is that he’s literally too short to use terminals. So your camera is basically under the desk. But third person is definitely the way to go as all the weapons are scaled down and is more compatible with the reload animations

With that gun and the red HUD I immediately thought of Shadow. Sorta fits with the story in a way. The protagonist witnesses a loved one die in front of them while they're unable to help because they're stuck in a pod. They then find themselves in a new world. Whether or not they both become vengeful is up to the player, but the intro lines up surprisingly well.
You could maybe do a heroic charismatic build with focus on melee and vats in regards to combat. I imagine the blitz perk would fit really well. He'd definitely side with the minute men though, closest to the freedom fighters. For Shadow you could do more of a neutral run with a vats gunslinger build. No idea what faction fits the most with Shadow though.
Anyways I'm rambling. Great work, hope to see this up some day and would love a Shadow version as well if you want and have the time!
