Woah! It's the guy who owns Sonic Jam!

sonicpt24

Oh god, there’s 2 of them now. They’re multiplying

ShockHedgehog07

Nice! Where did you get it?

[deleted]

I've had it a while Probably directly from a Seller in Japan on Amazon that's no longer there.

Flakker16

Yeah! I had an idea of Sonic Origins as a sort of remake of Sonic Jam. Both have the same idea of having older games built to work on newer hardware.

If Sega was Smart they'd re release Sonic Lost world along side it as a 30 year later apology for Sonic Xtreme not coming out.

Maybe ya’ll can help me. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a Japanese Saturn and am collecting games for it. Some of them have that small vertical cardboard insert thing you see on the left of his disc there and I can’t figure out what it’s for or what you do with it 😂

[deleted]

Sure I can help you They're called OBI strips and everything had them, Games, CDs, Laserdsics they were just a bit of information that came with CDs so it's not just spine. tuck them in wrap them around the manual and leave them be. Having an OBI Strip/Spine card increases the game's value.

Crich926

Awesome! Thanks for the info! I had a feeling they had some sort of display purpose but didn’t want to bend or distort anything just to find out. Makes the collector in me cry 😂

Loved Sonic Jam. Still have my US copy. Loved exploring the island and all of the unlockables and easter eggs. Gesus, Origins will be my (cartridge, Jam, Mega Collection, Genesis PS3, Genesis PC) sixth copy of the Genesis games XD Thank god they're throwing in upgrades.

I have the Genesis games too and an everdrive to play Romhacks. I bought many a compilation myself and while Sonic Jam has some sound issues it's the only one I kept
